Challenge to Atheists!

I had a dear friend who wrote this little booklet about "Reality and God". He wrote this back in the late 1950's but clearly he was way beyond those times back then--- It's like quantum physics before those realms of understanding were even discovered.

The book came to be because, at the time, a group of atheists used to travel from California to Florida every year and they would pass through Birmingham, Alabama on their way. William owned a bakery and many people, students from the University, and all kinds of seekers and philosophers would come there to talk with him because he was really a most mystic spiritual teacher. He went on to write a many more wonderful books and became quite a well known author and teacher.

So, this little booklet was written for the atheists who loved to converse with him. They always came out changed by the talks--- they were awakened to a new understanding of God and Reality, they discovered an enlightening new view of Life and even 'who they are' after the discussions.

It's really weird how this thread goes on and on, constantly with contributors referring to intelligent design and similar pseudo-science oddities in one version after another, but no-one bothers to go directly to these crutches and take a closer look at them (I apologize, if I have missed such a serious effort somewhere).

UR crazy, and you talk to invisible people, begging them to help you instead of doing good because your a good person you do it because you think a magical fairy is watching you-Hilarious. It's all molecules and atoms, and I know your to much of a wuss to believe you die and that's it. IT'S A STORY...Made by some people, to keep other gullible people in check. I grew up with an Alter Room in my basement, I was a catholic, I knew when I was a child that it was wrong. I just could feel that at 6 years old. I watched people argue and fight over who is right and who is wrong.

It's you people who try to shove religion down people's throat that make it all a joke. I feel like your trying to sell me a car when you come to my house and ask me to join your cult. That's why no one opens the door when you knock because religion is a scary creepy place filled with frikin ghosts and demons. Are you kidding me? Of all the knowledge we have about our planet, and other planets?

Do you even know who Copernicus was? A scientist who said-"You're all wrong...We go around the sun." The church said that's impossible it doesn't coordinate with our holy comic book. So the man lived a poor life because people couldn't accept the change, it has to be a slow transition.

Atheists have been battling religion for years get over just like gay people shoving it in our faces, you all want attention that's all.
Man up look at the dirt and say oh crap that's what I will turn into one day, until my molecules mix with other carbon and I get spread around the universe until the end of time.

It's nature, calm down people it's really okay. It's just the circle of life...

Wars are created over 3 things; land, resources, and religion. I bet nearly 90% of the world's wars are due to religion and culture. We can't accept what we really are. Why? Is it that scary that your body is crawling with life?

Nearly every square inch of the planet is covered in layers of bacteria and other life. You really think this is a mere coincidence? It happens on any planet that receives light, or any other form of energy. If energy kept hitting a planet over and over again the change in physics would be either physical or chemical. The energy would produce different results given the laws of probability. Sure we aren't talking to aliens right now, but truth is that we are the aliens now. Any ant that's walking around on Mars will communicate with it's friends about these giant silver robots that rolled around. They might even see a wheel and understand it and use it one day...ALright a little off topic.

My point is that there are people destroying our planet, and "God" isn't stopping them, or their effects. We need smart scientists who are trying to get our civilization off the planet-or at least know how in the event of an emergency. Religious people ask God to do everything, army ants formulate a plan and fight for their lives. We can use knowledge and be better prepared.

I'd like to start by saying that, that was a well thought out post. I'd also like to say that your belief of how life started is reasonable considering we cant prove our origin one way or the other... yet.

Anyways, I'd like to ask you, assuming you're right, who created god? And who created what created him/her/it? etc. Now I wouldn't be surprised if we were created, however, not in the natural sense. The way I think that we could have been created through is through science. Perhaps a scientist was conducting an experiment in a flask and BANG! the universe was created. So I'm not ruling out creationism, just a god who meddles in peoples lives... or doesn't when we could use it.

One thing that makes me think that religion is a man made belief is that your religion generally depends on where you're born. If i were born is isreal, I'd be Hebrew, but if I were born else where, I'd be another religion- so really it's meaningless. What are you reading out of ????? The King James Version says. "their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes , and their tongues shall consume away in their mouths". Having spent a lot of time as a young man reading about Hiroshima and Nagasaki along with the pictorial showing bleached skeletons almost intact minus an intact skull if I remember right ,that is a very good description of the effects of a nuke . Israel does have a nuke arsenal . . Read Ezekiel 37 the re inhabiting of Israel by the Jews . Ezekiel 38 & 39 the war against Israel in the latter days .

Somewhere i remember reading that after Jacob had wrestled the angel of the Lord (pre-incarnate Christ), Jacob ask the angel "where did God come from?" and the angel of the Lord promptly replied "God is of the Amen".

This is why when we pray at the end we say "amen". If you want to go all ancient aliens on it, you could theorize that the "Amen" may have been the race God came from, or maybe the name of his homeworld. As for the Divine, i have no clue what the Amen could be in relation to scripture beyond us just saying it after we pray, which i still havent figured out why we say "Amen" at the end of prayer. I'll chalk this up to one of the questions i ask God when i see him. I can honestly say i have been baffled by this for years and am no closer to figuring it out.

I have a question for you . With the discovery of DNA and RNA , by the research by scientist the single celled Amoeba has more DNA information than a human . DNA and RNA does not randomly occur nor does a living cell for it to develop , so how did life start . You must believe that life came from some where . Outer space is a sterile environment as was this rock we live on was . Atheism is your choice but with out proof . It is evident that the possibility of God existing is offensive to you , but why . A little soul searching might offend you as well . But go your way and reap your reward .

It is believed amen came from Amun/Amon/etc, the egyptian god, and was used for later religions.

I just challenge you to say what you believe the Name of the Creator is, and the Name of His Son the Messiah. These 2 will ultimately decided if you will accept the truth, or believe the lie ( 2 Thessalonians 2:11). Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Mormans, and all other religions would rather believe the lies told to them by their false prophets and scholars, therefore they were sent strong delusion by our Heavenly Father Yahuwah YHWH. Dont make that mistake.

Apparently many of you have a very conventional, limited, humanly conceptual idea of just what God is---

Many of you are just arguing about definitions, you are not going to get very far if you don't find Reality----

However, I am here to tell you, you can see Reality, if you like.

Really, would you like to brake out of those confining definitions and find God and understand more about your Real identity---would you like to know God directly for your self?--- You can, you know---unless of course you like where you are, then by all means stay there----

If you would like to move up and out and onward and really find Freedom and Peace and Joy and Love----

What is so vague about Israel being a nation after 2000 years being scattered all over the world Ezekiel 37. The description of the effects of the A-bomb told about in Zachariah 14 verse 12 . The Mark of the Beast ( Buy Sell or Trade ) being able to be enforced for the first time . Now that the Internet exist and associated sensors as well as the RFID chip and the Global Government which is also the World Bank that will eventually (Soon ) form a one world electronic currency that you will have to subscribe to if you want to have access to Revelations 13 verse 16 . With electronic money they will control who can use it .This is coming quick .
ALL OF THESE HAPPEN IN THE LATTER DAYS during the Time of the Great Tribulation . The Temple will be rebuilt and the Antichrist will sit on hte seat of God as he were God . The Jews are ready to rebuild it as soon a s possible . There are many others that you will not be interested in either . So party on dude ! You will pay the check soon enough .

That makes absolutely no sense at all. Why would God send a mass delusion to decieve people? Even implying that God is deceitful is blasphemy and is want to say that God is evil. Deceit are the tools of Satan, NOT God who is Holy and all about truth. Delusion is another word for "lie", and God does not lie because lying is a sin and God cannot stand the sight if sin nor be in its presence. Whatever the case, what is taught today about how God is, has nothing to do with 2 thessalonians. Reading that passage does make God seem evil.

Your statement that everything is born mulim (your term "everything" implies inclusion of all things born past, present and future) cannot be correct because Islam wasn't "invented" until the 7th century A.D.

Islam was a violent form of religion from the beginning; the inventor murdered those who would not convert to his new religion. That which lives by the sword shall die by the sword!

It would seem you are using some scientific truths, intermingled with your religious malarky to justify what you believe in.

IMHO if you believe in the true God you would also believe in His Son.
