Because the most feared weapon that can be used on the continental US is an EMP. It would do more damage to take out our infrastructure, than it would to drop a low yield nuke on a city. If our economy and infrastructure is gone, so is everything else. It would be like taking a step back into the early 1800's.

Thats true but i would think they would go after the power grid. probably take alot of emp missles to take outthewhole of the us.
