Ya know, I have just two questions...Have you checked this JPL's Small-Body Database before the July post because I have been watching that thing since January and it has NEVER had those hard lines before?...it has always had the smooth lines you are presenting in your second picture... Can you explain why that is?

answer why we cant see the PLANETS(very large celestial bodys) that are orbiting this brown dwarf star

are they also just mini brown dwarf stars that reflect no light??

You should probably look up how polylines and control points work.

I have written software which draws arches in realtime from 2 points to a 3rd which was the cursor point, perfectly circular arcs and also adjustable beziers like arches between FEW POINT TO MULTIPLE POINTS.

I have given my equations which do this very efficiently and BLAZING FAST to THE PROGRAMMER WHO LATER BECAME WAS THE INVENTOR OF FLASH because HIS EQUATIONS WERE TOO SLOW !!!

The image and line representing an orbit in question, in image 1 of the OP HAS 5 POINTS IN IT !!

It is painfully simple using the above mentioned equations to draw a nice curve between those 5 points, I ASSURE YOU NASA KNOWS HOW TO DO THIS AND HAS AT LEAST WELL OVER 100 SOFTWARE TOOLS THAT CAN DO THIS MORE ACCURATELY THEN THE JPL browser.

IT IS YOU STUPID SIR WHO KNOWS SQUAT ABOUT HOW polylines and control points work.

OP: your enthusiasm for your subject is delightful. I am beginning to understand what you're saying about the points. A previous explanation in another thread had made it seem like pixelization but, of course, if that were so, the whole thing would be pixelized. I understand also how very crude and barbaric this representation is when compared to the sophisticated software that one imagines NASA having. There also seem to be some proximity differences particularly to Mars on Elenins' way out. Perhaps NASA has contracted out this part of their interface with the public (us) to inferior technicians? Perhaps these same technicians are actually there to censor as their main function and are just multi-tasking beyond their capabilities and that's why we have crooked lines?

No, if data was deleted of faked it would have been done as close to the source as possible.

On the other hand, what employee at NASA would question data censoring, no doubt it HAPPENS ALL THE TIME, in the guise of "CREATING A MESSAGE THAT THE PUBLIC CAN UNDERSTAND AND BELIEVE IN."

But, whatever they did created a problem in the software by causing a partial failure the function which draws the line for the curved orbit.

They probably just entered the coordinates directly into the database using raw SQL, instead entering it through some interface/form that they would normally use, and it broke because they were not fully aware of exactly how that form manipulated the data before it entered it into the database, a typical bug.

So to fix it they would have had to do some research of other similar comets that were correct and tinker around for a while, and when they finally know what went wrong then correct the data.

Or there also could have just been a bug that always existed in the curve drawing program but ONLY ELEnin's data, or fake data, exposed it -- so they fixed that bug !!!

These are the two most likely scenarios fake or no fake !

IF, and it's a big IF, ELEnin is a true E.L.E., why obsess over it? Wouldn't you rather take the last couple months you have of being alive and spend them with family and friends or doing things that you have never done but want to?

I mean if you really believe we are all going to die, why bother trying to convince the skeptics that ELEnin is real and about to end life as we know it? Its not like they will be able to save themselves. if they or anybody were able to, it wouldn't be called an EXTINCTION LEVEL EVENT. it would probably be called a NEAR EXTINCTION LEVEL EVENT, or perhaps a "Life Changing Event".

Im just saying that instead of spewing all this hate towards people that may have an opposing viewpoint from yours, get out an live what little life you claim we all have left to live. If this has become such an obsession to you that you can't pull yourself away, go to the doctor and get some meds. I did.

I used to be wicked obsessed with ELEnin and was totally convinced we were all going to die that it was affecting my quality of life. I got some meds and now im all better. I still think there is a slight chance we could be destroyed by this comet/brown dwarft star or whatever, but there is also a slight chance that i could get destroyed tomorrow driving down the street in my car.
