I am an America citizen living in the Philippines for the past 6 months. I watched the first video and half of the 2nd video. On the 2nd video, when
it said that China possessed, had, owned, leased, or whatever ports it listed, I looked up 3 ports the video mentioned and found no ownership of China
to those ports. I didn't see where China had built them. Maybe I used to the wrong words in my Google search, I don't know. If someone can show me
where China actually owns them or runs them, I would appreciate it.
I really don't have a problem with believing this topic, with the exception of the actual ownership of the ports or who runs them.
Now, the reason I give some credence to this topic is that the US built a runway here in the Philippines, in General Santos City. You can look it up
if you wish. The runway is long enough to land the space shuttle. I have personally been to the airport there and there are 2 terminals. TWO!!! The US
spent $50 million to build this runway for Gensan (what General Santos is commonly referred to here). What is the reason the US would give all this
money to build a runway at a small runway that can land a space shuttle? It is the longest runway in Mindanao. I have talked to my friends here, both
personal and with government officials. We were just talking and this subject was brought up. They know that the US didn't just build this for no
reason. I said it was probably a tactical move due to the position of Gensan. Look it up on a map. Gensan is close to China. I told them that the US
would not just give all that money to build something like that for nothing.
Now, a few weeks ago, there was a dispute between the Philippines and China over the Spratley Islands. When I first saw this on the news here, I asked
my father back in the US if he had heard anything about it. He said he had not heard anything about this. I saw it on the news here for several days
before even the slightest hint on the news there showed it. I saw the article on Drudge where the US was going to fund the Philippines' navy to
upgrade it to help fight for their own territory. China claims the entire South China Sea, but the Spratley Islands are well within the Philippines
ownership area and that is why they were so upset. China has been sending vessels into that region.
When I saw on the news, aerial photos that the news here put on the air, I was only furthered in my belief about China. Those photos showed the
increase of Chinese submarine bases here around the Philippines. I seriously doubt those photos were shown to the American people. If there are any
doubters on this, I will try to find those pictures on the news here and show them. They actually showed what the island looked like before, and then
what they looked like after the submarines were there. What they showed in one instance was a submarine hiding underneath a coral reef. They also said
on the news that there would be joint Philippine/US naval operations here in the Philippines. Have you guys heard about that? It was on the news here
in the Philippines.
It is time for me to go to the public market now and get some tuna head to grill. You guys are missing out in the US if you don't know what tuna head
is. It's the best part of the tuna (not really the head, just the meat around the gills). From what I know about the US, most tuna is in a can or you
can get some tuna steaks. The tuna head meat is the best and I never heard about it until I came here.
Feel free to ask me any questions. I firmly believe about the China thing, but I am skeptical about that 2nd video.
Good day to you all. Hope this fits into this discussion.
