if the chinese were to successfully land ground forces after a "normandy-like" invasion, they got years of resistance on their hands to put up with

during WWII, one japanese general stated: there will be a gun behind every blade of grass if mainland US was invaded

If China were to start an obvious war with the United States, and especially upon ground invasion of the US, the US defense establishment would be rapidly reorganized. I just couldn't see the people like Sec of Defense Gates, who has done everything in his power to bad mouth US defense spending including the F-22 (proven capable) vs the F-35 (a complete failure over due to be delivered to every country who has ordered it) actually have any credibility fighting the Chinese.

US politicians have gone out of their way to build up the Chinese economic jaugernaut and drive the US into depression spending based on Chinese currency and trade manipulation. Now the US dollar faces collapse and the banking system is vulnerable to cyber war. Even a group like Annonymous hackers can bring down the international banking system and empty checking accounts. Chinese, Russian and N Korean hackers amongst others actually take it to military division level.

Because the US politicians gave us the Chinese problem, I don't think Americans are going to allow Washington D.C. to conduct the war once it becomes obvious that every US city is on their own anyway. This means a new militia establishment would take shape in no time.

Although, I will say that nuclear, biological and chemical war adds a serious problem to any scenario. I would suggest setting up Google Maps to track out breaks so that we can identify a biological warfare attack as soon as possible. If the internet is closed down at the same time, then basically we are at old school operations. That means isolation and recon to find out what is going on. Outside of your own region, I guess we may not know except for perhaps shortwave broadcasts.

Because China is still going strong with their commercial/military logistics operations including psychological operations against US media/politicians I would not say that an invasion is anytime soon. With local officials practically handing out regional logistics HQ to China (such as the one in Idaho), who needs to shoot anything yet? US politicians are like mana from heaven for the Chinese invasion. The spying, cyber war, theft, and industrial build up just couldn't be going better at the moment. Industrial output must be slowing down a bit due to the US recession, but overall, China's military build up couldn't be better under Obama/Gates/Clinton. It is absolutely great for them. Peaches and cream.

I think the most likely scenario is that China is invited into the United States by the Obama/Gates types to "help" out due to some "challenge".

We have been set up this far, it isn't hard to imagine. I mean look. 20 years ago China could not feed its people enough rice, and today they make our computers, slap bar codes and tracking devices on the boxes, get them on the worlds largest NAVY (The Red Army's COSTCO shipping) and unloaded onto Wal*Mart and Bestbuy trucks for delivery onto the interstate.

China is completely logistically intergrated into US society already right down to the bar code. The chinese can tell you within a few minutes of when something will leave the factory floor and arrive into a certain Wal mart in Denver Co. They didn't do that by themselves. US politicians arranged it. Industry supported it.

Without the Chinese logistical system already in place, you wouldn't even be on the internet right now with your cell phone or laptop (all made in China).

Jane's has written the Pentagon on how to eliminate our Debt to China.

Go to War with them and use our extensive secret Nukes in Space. Yes in Space.

Interesting clue to this was from a film back in 1982 "Defcon 4" I know for sure when some one in the Pentagon saw this a light bulb could be seen over His head for sure. Did any here on ATS ever wonder what all those Top Secret Space Shuttle Mission were about?
Do you feel that it would be beyond the Pentagons brain trust to figure this was a great idea?

It is there and probably many.

Yea, I don't think we all know what can be brought to bear to the Chinese equation. So I am not worried yet. I think we can go along ways to increase production of soft goods in Vietnam and the Phillipines, increase better cooperation with Taiwan, Australia, S. Korea and Japan on technology and China can still be kept in place even with its increased military and industrial capability. Obviously, China is preparing for war with the United States vs. just a regional player like Taiwan but even so, they have a long way to go to be successful even with twits nominated as US Secretary of Defenses.

We have a lot of dumb people in the US thanks to the US department of education and brats elected as presidents and so forth, but China would be pretty stupid to think they can rule the US people en masse. That isn't going to happen. Can they buy it? Sure, anyone can. But do they have enough money even at auction?

Possession is 9/10ths of the law. I and my blood have been here since 1632. The Chinese got here in 1909. It doesn't look like I am leaving anytime soon.

We have Chuck Norris, Jack Bauer, and Sarah Pallin....We're straight!!! Bring it on China/Russia.......

United States & Most European Nations vs. Russia/China.......I like our odds.......We spend nearly a trillion on defense each year, I think we have the resources to take on any world power....

I'm pretty confident if the Chinese attempted to invade the USA, they would have one hell of a battle to fight. Do they not realize how many people in the US are gun owners? Even if they managed to wipe out our military and get boots on US soil, an insurgency would cripple them the same it has to the US in Afghanistan and Iraq.

You can't just "invade" a country the size and strength as the US overnight. It would take a long hard battle of months, maybe even years. Even then I doubt they could occupy the entire country. Have you thought about the logistical nightmare it would be for China to transport the necessary troops, gear and supplies to not only start the war but to sustain long enough to win? Also who would not notice an armada of Chinese military vessels charging towards the US?

It simply isn't practical for China to take over the US. It would make a hell of a lot more sense to expand west before jumping over the pacific to the east.

There are two problems facing China.
1. A failure to fully understand the technology they have stolen to date and the failure to understand the engineering that comes out of it.
2. A failure to fully comprehend a free market and free society.

Let me explain.
Technology and engineering allow people to do things like farm less land and gain a higher yield per acre. It allows people to build substantial structures that stand up to natural disasters, are environmentally sound, and provide homes or business structures. It allows the generation of electrical power environmentally soundly and in the quantity necessary.
The key to the use of technology and the engineering to make it a reality is a free market economy that operates within a fair, just, judicial system, tax system, regulatory system, etc. If China wants to really expand, they can do it within their current borders. The US has made the commitment to do this. We have made no attempt to expand our nation since the late 1940s with the addition of the state of Alaska.

All of the wars we've fought for well over a century have been to attain freedom for others and to maintain our own freedoms. The recent wars will eventually leave behind safe governments lead under the rule of law. This will be painful for many, but it will be done.

All of the above said, there are always those within dispotic governments who see warfare as the way to achieve their goals. Assume that all of the plans described came true. China expands into the US, Australia, and perhaps even into Europe. They have clearly failed to understand the lessons. They will soon find themselves right back where they are, just on a bigger scale. And now, with millions of their citizens directly exposed to the riches, the freedoms, the inalienable rights of the peoples that have been violated and destroyed. Do they honestly think that such contamination of their communist 'ideals' will have no impact? They will never finish the war successfully because of the constant insurrections and will fall in a sea of blood, most of it Chinese.

We have DEVGRU/Delta Force and a trillion dollar budget.......Why would ANY country want to mess with us? We have the most sophisticated military in the world, arguably the most advanced technology, and a ridiculous military budget.....I just dont see why any nation would want to shake the hornets nest....

A lot of the posters are stating things that are true about the US military, but act as if they have not looked over the OP's material. If China does take out 2/3 of the population in one fell swoop through an EMP attack in combination with a large three-pronged biological, chemical, and nuclear hit with their fleet of 11,000 mile range stealth bombers, etc. we won't have a chance to retaliate on a grand scale. Many will just die like the Native Americans did through unintended biological warfare. One hundred million Americans still would present quite a fight, but that is a tenth of their population and with 25% more males than females, they cannot only afford but feel they need to downsize or kill off some of them. They have socially engineered their population for the coming war, that in and of itself is a very deep seated tell-tale sign of their outlook on the immediate future.

Taking out 2/3 of our population in one fell swoop would be the killing of 200 + million people....I dont believe that is even possible, well maybe its possible, but its SOOOO unlikely.... Do you think the world would just sit back as China/Russia murders 200 million people??? If they ever waged an attack of that level against us they would have every country coming after them....If China would go after USA like this, who says they dont go after every other country around the world in a systematic fashion...I believe this would be a great idea if you were looking to destroy the planet....

I won't speculate as to the possibility, but that apparently is the plan. When I say one fell swoop though, I mean a hit on many highly populated areas, of course most of the death would occur over a more prolonged period of time as people carried disease with them and it permeated the country.

When you read stories like this:

www.abovetopsecret.com...

you can't help thinking if China, or anyone else conquered America, could it really be any worse. That may sound naive, but it would be no worse a place for the families suffering fascism in the above thread...

This topic is one that has had me worried for some time. Adding to this, things like becoming closer and friendlier with Germany are just horrible signs of things to come.

Great thread OP. pity so many are blinded to the threat , because they are counting the loot coming the traitors way.

In Australia some landowners are getting ten fold to fifty fold the true value of their land or houses via the Communist Chinese Government, but hey its all good , for those who won't be slaughtered as all minoritys are when invasion comes to the west.

We are fools no better than those who lost the war on "Mars Attacks".

Has anyone else been having trouble finding information on this H10 bomber? Doesn't seem to be on wikipedia.com or sinodefense.com

This H10 nuclear stealth bomber is mentioned in the 2nd video by OP. But I'm having a really hard time tracking any information down about this thing.

Hell the Chinese don't have any thing to worry about, they don't need bombers or an armada of ships.

All they have to do is get permission from Mexico to fly there in commercial airliners then run across the border with the rest of South America who has been invading us for years with no fear of reprisal from our military or our border being defended properly.

As a matter of fact if they can outrun the border patrol we will give them a driver license and a welfare check to boot!

Again to the OP , you are giving the Enemy nation to much credit , you are leaving the American strategies completely blank.

If YOU are thinking of this , do you not think the Military strategist / planners havnt already though about it? They arnt going to announce hey we think a war is China is fairly plausible , we know hey have this we know they have that ... well we have this to counter that .... NO , we arnt going to tell the American public what we have in plan because the enemy will be listening!

I assure you! What china has in world destructive power we have 10 fold. They can kill a lot of our people and we can kill a lot of theirs.

Also again , we have a policy that is called Mutual destruction. If we are about to wipe out ,we wipe out ALL suspected nations .... not just ONE ... but ALL suspected nations.

I am an America citizen living in the Philippines for the past 6 months. I watched the first video and half of the 2nd video. On the 2nd video, when it said that China possessed, had, owned, leased, or whatever ports it listed, I looked up 3 ports the video mentioned and found no ownership of China to those ports. I didn't see where China had built them. Maybe I used to the wrong words in my Google search, I don't know. If someone can show me where China actually owns them or runs them, I would appreciate it.

I really don't have a problem with believing this topic, with the exception of the actual ownership of the ports or who runs them.

Now, the reason I give some credence to this topic is that the US built a runway here in the Philippines, in General Santos City. You can look it up if you wish. The runway is long enough to land the space shuttle. I have personally been to the airport there and there are 2 terminals. TWO!!! The US spent $50 million to build this runway for Gensan (what General Santos is commonly referred to here). What is the reason the US would give all this money to build a runway at a small runway that can land a space shuttle? It is the longest runway in Mindanao. I have talked to my friends here, both personal and with government officials. We were just talking and this subject was brought up. They know that the US didn't just build this for no reason. I said it was probably a tactical move due to the position of Gensan. Look it up on a map. Gensan is close to China. I told them that the US would not just give all that money to build something like that for nothing.

Now, a few weeks ago, there was a dispute between the Philippines and China over the Spratley Islands. When I first saw this on the news here, I asked my father back in the US if he had heard anything about it. He said he had not heard anything about this. I saw it on the news here for several days before even the slightest hint on the news there showed it. I saw the article on Drudge where the US was going to fund the Philippines' navy to upgrade it to help fight for their own territory. China claims the entire South China Sea, but the Spratley Islands are well within the Philippines ownership area and that is why they were so upset. China has been sending vessels into that region.

When I saw on the news, aerial photos that the news here put on the air, I was only furthered in my belief about China. Those photos showed the increase of Chinese submarine bases here around the Philippines. I seriously doubt those photos were shown to the American people. If there are any doubters on this, I will try to find those pictures on the news here and show them. They actually showed what the island looked like before, and then what they looked like after the submarines were there. What they showed in one instance was a submarine hiding underneath a coral reef. They also said on the news that there would be joint Philippine/US naval operations here in the Philippines. Have you guys heard about that? It was on the news here in the Philippines.

It is time for me to go to the public market now and get some tuna head to grill. You guys are missing out in the US if you don't know what tuna head is. It's the best part of the tuna (not really the head, just the meat around the gills). From what I know about the US, most tuna is in a can or you can get some tuna steaks. The tuna head meat is the best and I never heard about it until I came here.

Feel free to ask me any questions. I firmly believe about the China thing, but I am skeptical about that 2nd video.

Good day to you all. Hope this fits into this discussion.
