Anyone can produce a few tables with numbers representing anything they wish.

It means nothing. Every survey, statistic that is offered by different government or civilian departments can be made to look one way or another.

In the N.Ireland conflict you seem to forget that there is a Unionist Faction involved. I'm guessing your a good ol fashioned White Hooded protestant hopping on the anti-catholic wagon. The British Military has been found to be meddling in the affairs of the north and using the Unionists as a front for the military murder of high value targets.

In fact just recently a spate of violence kicked off in the North caused by the Unionists. While I think that the IRA, Sinn Fein and the Nationalists are little more than petty criminals now - I would not call them terrorists because they were fighting for their independence from a foreign power. The only groups in the North that support the Crown are those that were planted and given land generations ago to settle in "savage Ireland".

On topic -

Since the Islamic Extremists are, or would appear to be the largest threat facing the world at the moment, it's not possible to realistically look at the problem without factoring in radical Islam. We are also on a site where most of the Islamists we see here are obviously of the radical bent. Not all, but more than a few that I assume change their names often.

With 1.5 billion adherents, even if the number of extremists is as low as a couple of percent (from the polls it looks more like 7 to as high as 15 percent) it can create a huge issue for all of the world. No other group poses this great of a threat to the planet; in fact no other comes even close.

Other religions pose no such risk. Islam is unique in this at this time in history. The Theocratic Dictatorships controlled by them make them a huge threat to the entire planet. For instance the people of Iran pose no threat, but they have zero control of their government, a radical Islamic sect controls it.

Burying our head in the sand about the threat and it's source will only make it easier for the extremists, it will put us at a far greater risk in the future.

The World due to insane political correctness has allowed the extremists to grow and increase the danger. Why? Because they have couched the argument in such a way as to not allow you to criticize the extremists by using their version of the Race Card. If you criticize the Terrorist, you must then be a hater of Muslims. Which is of course insane and untrue, but those they wish to control are suckers for it.

Here in the US right now we are seeing an example of how a small radical group, the globalist progressives have taken complete control of our Federal Government. They make up, from what I've read and seen about 15% of the Democratic Party but have complete control of the Party. Same thing is occurring with radical Islam.

Even at the low estimates, we are talking ten or more million extremists hell bent on taking over the world and creating a Caliphate. Knowing that, it simply does not matter that most Muslims are in fact decent peace loving folks.

On top of that, we have elements of the Progressives like the Bill Ayers bunch who for whatever reason are joining forces with radical Islam. It's a no brainier that when the time comes that radical Islam will turn on them. Since many of Obama's people are well known as part of those who believe as Ayer's does, I don't buy they are not acting with the blessings of the White House. Ayers may not be welcome in even Canada, but I'm sure he is on Obama's Christmas Card Short List.

Even Canada had the common sense to see Ayers for who he was and ban him from inside their borders. Most Liberals are not like Ayers even though his ilk have control at the moment. Perhaps that in the end will stop this from getting worse. Sadly though the poor and uneducated who make it possible for the Progressives to hold office, will not anytime soon magically turn into informed Liberals and understand that Obama and company are not actually Democrats, but instead a group who have taken over their Party by deception.

How often have you seen a discussion by the core membership of the Democratic Party about them being usurped by the radical Progressive movement?

We are also now seeing Unions get in on the relationship with radical Islam. Why do you suppose that is?

The number one victim of radical Islam are the Muslims themselves. What the West has supposedly done to the Muslims, pales in comparison to the slaughter taking place involving Muslim on Muslim violence. Most targets of Terrorist attacks are in fact other Muslims.
