That sort of downplays generic human hate. People hate and fear things they don't understand or cannot/ will not accept. People on this forum are doing it right now, hating things like sexual preference or religious origin. In the future, that will be considered, wrong/evil/demonic. We hate and fear new people and new ideas. And why wouldn't the world breed awful dictators? We are obsessed with greed/money/lust/power.

You mean Orthodox Judaism. You realize not all Orthodox Jews are anti-zionist right? Look up Abraham Isaac Kook.

Though i do agree - the naturei karta - the anti-zionist Orthodox Jews do a major disservice to Jews, Israel, and Judaism by campaigning for and with enemies of the state of Israel.

The only explanation i can give for this blunder (and that is putting it nicely) is a sheer ignorance of how the real world works. They think G-d will work a miracle for them. Dont get them wrong; Israel, By DEFINITION of their religion, belongs to the Jews (and if they think/say differently then theyre heretics)... Its just they believe without a shadow of a doubt, that somehow, in their minds, the messiah will establish the state of Israel. Now, how this pipedream jibes with political reality and how things actually work, i dont know.

But fortunately, the MAJORITY of Orthodox Jews are sensible people. They may be against the secular/leftist government (as am i) but they are zionists. If they werent, they wouldnt be living in Israel.

Also arrant nonsense - killing millions of YOUR OWN POPULATION (and that's what the Jews were - native Germans and Russians (obviously not including those from the occupied territories)) is not "excused" by someoen else killing hundreds of thousands - each is potentially a crime in its own right.

How does killing your own people differ from killing other people. I don't see your logic, mass killing is mass killing, the allied forces played their own part in destroying Cities, US even used nukes for its own wiping out cities.

That aside, the mass killing of Native Americans by colonialists to the brink of extinction was not mentioned in the original article, which is why I argue that the focus only on 'the Allied force's lost enemies' is simply biased, but I'm sure the author won't deny that, because we all have our own bias.

I still had a great read, out side the box thinking is something I'm never against, it almost always constructs a great discussion.

My personal view is a moderate one that says that when two sides fight, neither is innocent. However, I am presenting a deeper metaphysical and historical context of the conflict in this thread.

Your view is that of the far-left. Your concern is with the "genocide of Native Americans and Palestinians" and not at all with the murder of hundreds of Millions at the hands of socialism. Far-leftism is the context in which you think. They call your position "the new anti-semitism", as shown in the Wikipedia-link. Of course this is not really "new" because the far-left has always been anti-semitic, ever since the days of Marx who proposed that there is a jewish-banking conspiracy.

Your defensiveness is unwarranted. I am not attacking you personally, just reporting how your position is seen in the larger scheme of things.

The OP did a whole lot of assuming that figures provided by propaganda have a base in historical fact.

I suggest that the OP did a little bit of study on the holocaust, and the glaring inaccuracies, 6 million dead changed to 1 million, etc. I won't continue on further, because I don't want to really derail the thread too much. I will just leave it at this, there was no intentional genocide of the Jews during WW2. Too many suffered, were tortured, and died to imagine. But there was no widespread genocide of the Jews during WW2.
