I was told by a peer when I was in high school that the second coming would be in 2010 (in front of everyone in my 12th grade class). That year was then corrected by a superior to be in the year 2011, when she said that the "Church" believed this. It was said that most of us in the classroom that day would probably live to see it. Why would this specific year have been mentioned 35 or more years ago to me and others in my presence?

I've waited for this time ever since just to see what happens. All of my lifes major experiences that were revealed back then have come true. Also, this was the last president of the U.S. ever mentioned as well as the last Pope.

Many other things were told that all came true.

Satan exists and he will mislead many, i believe satan exists. However we were created perfect, we turned away from god and our punishment was... death. Jesus has given us the chance to live forever or die. There is no hell, hellfire is satanic, god has the ability to perfectly judge, as well as forgive.

Also, we should do things to please god, not because we are afraid of hell! I resist satan because i want to please God and be restored as he promised to perfection, we shouldn't do things because we are afraid we are going to burn forever.

We are going to burn in very real and terrestrial fire if people don't stop believing in exactly what you are talking about.

You cannot blame Christianity for the violence going on in the world.

Place the blame where it belongs, with the islamists.

How would you explain the process of 'accepting' him? Jesus has never reached out to me personally, all anyone has to go on is a book that says he was the kindest guy ever.. Sounds like rhetoric.

Yes I can, you must not know very much about your own religions history. Of course everything Christianity has ever done is perfectly justifiable by the word of god though right?

That SAME word that has been true for 2000 years... right? RIGHT?

How about blaming it on people who blame everything on someone else?

Think of it this way, if everyone else who has ever lived was perfect and were not in need of salvation, Jesus STILL would have gone through everything He did, just for you.

Oh and by the way, while your arguing morality, why don't you fix your own garbage:

That wasn't my choice. ATS inserted the Jesus image but for some reason did not insert the Mohammed one. They were embedded in the forum code the exact same way.

I think all religion is hogwash (certainly the big 3), and the single worst enemy of mankind (maybe with the exception of Buddhism).

Keep your fear mongering and hatred spreading to yourselves.

There have been many misguided Christians in the past.

I thought we were talking about the here and now.

I don't see too many Christians flying airplanes into buildings killing thousands of people.

I don't see too many Christians strapping bombs to themselves or their kids and blowing up innocent people.

Those people are horrible.

You can't blame all Christians for their actions, any more than you can blame all muslims for terrorists.

Yes I can, I can blame all religious people for having these kind of blind judgements and interpretations of their law. Which you will follow blindly, and based upon your opinion of it. Have some sense.

It's YOUR fault for believing in garbage and judging people en mass, based on YOUR dumb two thousand year old fairy tales.

I agree, so fix it, they are believing in the same "word" you do, so you must understand them better than I do.

Can you respond to the same kind of judgement you place on others? Of course not, because Christianity does not hold up under an unbiased and FACTUAL based scrutiny.
