I'm sorry but i have to disagree with you, Jesus is the son of God, and there is no hell. You too are following "man's religion" because the hellfire and trinity doctrines are pagan in origin. They are not the work of a loving creator, no loving God would create a person just to eternally torment them. Yes i agree we have the chance to live in everlasting life, or die. That's the choice. Either you die and are conscious of nothing or you get to live in peace and happiness in eternity.
(However i do agree that the person you were replying to was also incorrect)edit on 9-5-2011 by Caleb.K because: edit
The Bible talks of Hell.
Jesus Himself talked of Hell.
If there is no Hell and everyone gets to Heaven, then God sent Jesus to die for nothing.edit on 9-5-2011 by Common Scarecrow because: spelling

both plausible, except I'm not sure that the Anunnaki has made an announcement of the arrival date

You do not understand the term in which hell is being used, hell was added into the bible after it was originally written by the catholic church. If you mean the terms hades and gehenna then yes the bible uses them, but it is used to describe either a final resting place, ie. death or absolute destruction ie. dying and not having a hope to live in gods kingdom. There is no fiery torment for those who disobey god, jesus gave us the hope of living for eternity, not to also make sinners spend eternity in fiery torment. That would be satanic. You die and you are unconscious, if you do not follow god your punishment is the loss of gaining everlasting life in peace and happiness, something we all long for.

This may not be a popular reply, or excepted well...there is no Jesus Christ. He is opposite of what his Father said...I'll take my chances that I'm wrong. I have a hard enough time believing in a god, let alone the "son" who contradicted everything his "Heavenly Father" said.
Christians celebrate Christmas (look up the origins). They celebrate Easter (again, look up the origins)..Good Friday-repeat...Your Bible you mis-read. If you want to follow the "Bible"..do what it is says. The Bible says "god does not change"..yet after the New Testament, he Changed. WTH? How god can change in the middle of the "book" from one thing to another...doesn't any one question that?
All gods word (that does not change) was changed by the son??? So all of a sudden he changed the goal posts? Are you serious?
To me Christianity is the biggest lie there is. They are the ones who "follow" yet will the be the ones cast into the lake of fire (if there is one). They are following the son, with out understanding, and think they are on the right path...I think NOT!

ps palm Sunday he rode a donkey why does a king ride a donkey? In those days because he comes n peace.
Better be on the right side when he comes this time he's ridding a war horse and packing a sword.

Really?
Think about that as reality for a minute, without going for the theatrical, "tough guy" sound of it.

I was under the impression that Jesus and the Apostles said that 'He' will return just as 'He' left...
if you recall , the resurrected Jesus the Christ, rose into the 'clouds'
but befor that... in the 40 some days that 'He' commisserated among the disciples and believers
after rising-from-the-dead...it was told that the 'followers' did not recognize the person claiming to be Jesus/Christ in fact the doubting Thomas needed proof like a person from modern Missouri (the show-me state) and had to stick his fingers into the nail holes and the spear wound of the cruicified Christ which the unfamiliar person in front of the inner circle also had according to the testimony.
But as far as a returning Jesus riding a 'war horse'...thats just metaphor in the sense that He returns to establish a 'Kingdom'...he will seize the power from human kingdoms, & that 'overturning' is equated with 'war'...which is far from the reality of a unrecognized one claiming to be a returning Christ will descend from the Clouds
(is that code for UFO)...
to my senses, it will take a huge ammount of 'Faith' to accept that this UFO transported Alien from another realm/dimension is a long awaited returning Christ from some 2,000 years ago.
thanks

Yeah really! I never met a preacher (disciple of God) who wasn't living like a king. They have the best of both worlds.
Okay, this was the last one. Good debate though. I'm putting you on my respected foe list. PS...I use to believe but I just dont' get it anymore. If I stroke out tonight then I will probably start believing again. Seems like God likes to take the "tough guy" approach also.

Satan exists and he will mislead many, i believe satan exists. However we were created perfect, we turned away from god and our punishment was... death. Jesus has given us the chance to live forever or die. There is no hell, hellfire is satanic, god has the ability to perfectly judge, as well as forgive.
Also, we should do things to please god, not because we are afraid of hell! I resist satan because i want to please God and be restored as he promised to perfection, we shouldn't do things because we are afraid we are going to burn forever.edit on 9-5-2011 by Caleb.K because: .
