FOX news has the highest ratings out every news channel in the entire world, you think that out of the MILLIONS of people that watch FOX news AND tweet on a daily basis that not one of them besides this person seen this????

I have read every single post in this entire thread and I have participated in it since the beginning. I know what you are saying but she already said she is absolutely sure what she saw. And she saw the ticker more than once! And her grandmother saw it too! So either you are suggesting she's and idiot and doesn't know what she's talking about, or your suggesting she is lying. So which is it. And stop hiding behind "she may have made a mistake", because she has already insisted that she didn't because she saw it and read it more than once. So we can either trust her, or call her a liar.

Two other possible sightings have been posted, including the one I linked to a few posts up, from page 14, and another given in a screenshot somewhere in this thread (threads longer than 20 pages should have some sort of directory).

Alien, one thing to remember, everyone was pretty distracted with the royal wedding that day, so maybe it's not such a stretch that some ppl didn't notice the ticker. Also, maybe some did but don't frequent social networks or sites like this to discuss it. I mean, we are talking about the fox news crowd.

I don't want to see any "possible sightings" and I'm not going to take anyones word for it. I want to see another Tweet backlog or something else that can't be faked.

Now if there were hundreds of people saying they seen it then thats a different story.

Eyewitness testimony can be very sketchy, and totally wrong. Even if the person is sincere. Heck it happens to all of us. You can be dead certain of what you read and quote it verbatim and be willing to bet your house on it, and later find out you were wrong. It happens all the time. How sincere the person may be is not an indication of how accurate the information is. Proof is needed. And without proof, and with* a very good alternative already being stated: that those words were indeed on the screen but in a different context leads one to a logical conclusion that this eyewitness testimony was sincere but flawed, unless proven otherwise. Which seems less likely all the time.

The only way to resolve this is to find a recording of this ticker, so if anyone wants to, I suggest going to different Fox News show forums and ask around if anybody recorded the show. Also, fox news was covering the royal wedding that day, so perhaps finding some hardcore royal wedding fan forums and asking if any of them recorded it.

If I'm reading this right, the shows she was potentially watching, Special Report and Fox Report, had about 1.75 million viewers that night.

I'm sorry, but unlike yourself, I'm not easily pleased or persuaded, I need proof and evidence over someones "word". In situations like this you have to be open to all the possible answers not jump up and down screaming "she saw the ticker more than once".

People make mistakes all the time. The one and only way that this can be proven is by seeing the actual ticker itself.

If we stated things as fact just because someone says "I know what I saw" then this site wouldn't be here for discussions.

Okay, so, admittedly, I tracked down the other sighting and found the source (as ~Lucidity, who originally posted it, did) - it was a video posted 5 hours ago (there's also another YouRTubeNews video, reporting the same thing, that was posted 4 hours ago), so it's just reporting what's been happening here on ATS, I presume...not an independent sighting.

Personally I think it would be best to wait on the whole contact the White House thing until something definitive turns up.

And even then, a different avenue would probably be better, at least initially.

She did, and I forget the exact time, but it's stuck in my head at between 6 and 8, because I've been focusing on the shows that are on at that time. She posted the tweet within an hour of seeing it.

Someone earlier in the thread looked something up on Twitter and posted a timestamp of 7:43 for when she actually sent the tweet.

Hey guys mikeys right we can't just trust 100% a eye witness. If we could then alot of court cases would of gone differently im sure... lets stay on track. now that tweet above me seems to show another person that saw or heard something on the 28th along with that youtube video.

But on her twitter feed, it shows that she made the post at 12:43 PM. How is it possible she tweeted about it before she saw it? I'm in the USA just as she is, so time zone differences can't possibly account for the discrepancy.
