I have read every single post in this entire thread and I have participated in it since the beginning. I know what you are saying but she already said she is absolutely sure what she saw. And she saw the ticker more than once! And her grandmother saw it too! So either you are suggesting she's and idiot and doesn't know what she's talking about, or your suggesting she is lying. So which is it. And stop hiding behind "she may have made a mistake", because she has already insisted that she didn't because she saw it and read it more than once. So we can either trust her, or call her a liar.

I'm sorry, but unlike yourself, I'm not easily pleased or persuaded, I need proof and evidence over someones "word". In situations like this you have to be open to all the possible answers not jump up and down screaming "she saw the ticker more than once".

People make mistakes all the time. The one and only way that this can be proven is by seeing the actual ticker itself.

If we stated things as fact just because someone says "I know what I saw" then this site wouldn't be here for discussions.

Actually I'm not easily pleased or persuaded, but thank you for judging....
Look, I agree with what your saying, and in most cases that would also be my outlook, but I also tend to step back and look at the big picture, and try to determine what is most likely in cases such as this, when we don't get to have the video evidence. I'm taking into account everything that's been collected and presented in this thread. 2 other twitter posts were linked here, in addition to hers. I'm sorry but in this case, I believe it's much more likely that she is telling the truth, not only about seeing the ticker, but about being sure that she didn't misread it, and it is more likely that the gov and msm are the ones who made mistakes and/or lied.

The person posting this thread remembers seeing it on that day and posting the tweet on that day, so if in fact something in that code you're attempting to post shows that Twitter was hacked, there would be two possibilities.

1. This OP may not be the same person who owns the Twitter page, someone hacked that page and made that post, and then made the same name here in ATS, and posted this thread. In this case the real megneverlands would have been victimized.

2. She herself hacked her own page it and came here to post this thread. In this case there would be no victim.

This has been a possibility since the first post. Many are giving it the benefit of the doubt, to varying degrees.

I remember the newscaster or newscasters were men. Yeah, between 6:30 and 8pm PST that night...the night of the 28th, not the 27th.

Okay.. this is what doesn't make sense.. the post on Twitter was at 10:43am PT yet she says 6:30pm PT??

The OP said this:

Yeah, between 6:30 and 8pm PST that night...the night of the 28th, not the 27th.

But on her twitter feed, it shows that she made the post at 12:43 PM. How is it possible she tweeted about it before she saw it? I'm in the USA just as she is, so time zone differences can't possibly account for the discrepancy.

That's a good question. I quoted your whole post so it would carry over to the new page and others can see it. As so I could keep up with where I left off in the thread when I log in tomorrow. lol

I must be in the same time zone as you because I also get 12:43 PM. I thought perhaps twitter had a default time zone setting for non members and that is why our time slots were off. So I logged in and made sure I was set to CST. Still showed 12:43 PM.

So I would like to look into the point you bring up because that is a good question. I also want to look at the OP's posts in the thread to make sure it was for sure between 6-8 PM or if that was just the best they could remember.

I'm not a big Twitter user so can anyone provide insight into this since the OP is offline for now?

It shows your time when you view it, that's why everyone sees a different time.

I'm in the PT time zone and I think she is also, since she used PST in her post.

Why am I not seeing the time when I look at her page? All I see is the date?

Ugh I'm confused.

Google cache shows the post was there at least on 30th April - webcache.googleusercontent.com...:5jBXd6XZl-gJ:twitter.com...://twitter.com/%23!/megneverlands&cd=5&hl=en&c t=clnk&source=www.google.com - (scroll to bottom of page) this might have been re-cached by the time you read this.

I guess all this probably means though is someone got some kind of word about the upcoming attack at Fox and released the news ahead of time in some kind of mix up. I've seen it reported from different sources that this was always a kill operation from the start e.g. here

Edit: can't get the link to format properly

When you go on Twitter, click on the tweet, then just hover over the date, the time should show up, on mine it says 12:43, I'm central time BTW.

Good catch! So it was 10:43am PT or 12:43am CT

Thanks for checking that out, I don't have twitter so I wasn't able to log in and verify the time zone settings. So we know that she posted it at 10:43 A.M. PST. (She said earlier that she was on the west coast at the time)

She did seem pretty confident about the date, considering that she went so far as to explicitly point out and make the distinction that it was on the 28th and not the 27th. There didn't seem to be any vagueness or uncertainty about it. As for the time, she did say night, so it's not likely that she accidentally said PM instead of AM.

I guess we'll have to wait until tomorrow to see what she has to say about this.

Someone mentioned that when the stuff is archived, the ticker is removed?

I'm not sure whether that's true or not...?

It is not removed because really archived is only original footage. Tickers, logos and other graphic elements are superimposed in real time during broadcast postprocessing. I think, stream resulting from this postprocess is also archived for limited time, for INTERNAL purposes. This type of archive is not available for audience.

Alrighty, I'm back. I went to dinner. No black vans outside. Yet.

Anyways, to answer the question about the time... I believe it was in the evening, probably between 6:30 and 8pm PST. Hope that helps narrow down what program was running because I can't remember. I wish I could.

I am POSITIVE I saw it. I wouldn't have tweeted it if I hadn't been 100% sure. Someone contacted me on Twitter to tell me that someone else had posted about it too. Their username is somewhere in my tweets.

Also, the photo that you were all debating...something about how Fox News posted Obama Bin Laden, had nothing to do with me other than the fact that I did retweet it. I didn't create the photo, use the photo, or anything. I simply retweeted the original poster because i thought it was interesting. That's how Twitter works.

My grandmother also saw the ticker and she actually was the one who called my attention to it. so I'm more than sure that I saw what I said I did. If you don't believe me, I don't really know how else to prove it to you. The timestamp on my tweets can't be altered, so it's there for your own eyes.

I will check ATS when I'm free. I will be back...unless the black vans show up

Let's figure this thing out! The government or the media or the president isn't telling us the complete truth. It seems to me there are many holes in this story. By posting this, I was just hoping to help fill a hole. Let's see what we can do!
