Does it really matter? If the end comes well, it will come. Chances are it probably won't. My Best Friend and I are planning a party for that day. Titled "It's The End Of The World As We Know It" subtitle "It's The Apocalypse B!tches!!!" We'll have an open bar, the guys cooking on the grill, a DJ and a bonfire. If nothing happens then we will have an After Party called "The Last Minute Christmas Shopping Tour".

It doesn't really matter in the end. If people would read up on history though they would see that global conspiracy's and The Powers That Be go back from the beginning of civilization. Not much has changed at all, the government is out to get you, we are destroying the planet blah blah blah...it's all been said before.

Sounds like you have the perfect plan for it though, me I just plan on stocking my home bar full of goodies and enjoying the fact that i'm experiencing the end time. If it does happen which I doubt.

I do not believe it's the end of the world. People have thought it's the end of the world in every era. No real Mayans believe that it's the end of the world, and neither should you. Especially on 12.21.2012. I'll be totally pissed off if the world ends before Santa can even deliver his freakin' presents.

You could choose to live every day thinking it's the end of the world and live miserably, or choose to live happily, believing everything will be okay.
Sure, ignorance is bliss. But who knows if this is the only life we have to live or not? And if it is the end of the world, why not sit back and enjoy the biggest event in history playing out in your lifetime? I don't want to waste it thinking the world is going to end tomorrow. I'd rather try to make whatever impact I can make on the world in a positive way than to think negatively like that.

More and more things are starting to take place and shape around the world, The recent release of the Iranian video, which has been compared to the video Hitler released prior to WWII, the unrest in the Middle East, The food shortages around the world, the natural disasters...

Funny thread. Seriously, just laughed a lot.

No. I don't think it's the end. I think it's been really bad for many many people, and watching current economic trends, it could get worse (being hopeful by saying could).

But, I also think that just when we all think everything is doomed to # (in a materialistic sort of way), something will happen. I have no idea what. Maybe the bilderberg attendees this year will have a sudden change of heart?

When I started looking into conspiracy theory, I was coincidentally given a yin/yang candle-like structure. It's sat on my desk since, and I always look at it when I think everything's going to # for a little hope. I truly believe in balance, and in my opinion, it's about time this world gets balanced out with some Yin!

On that note, this thread has inspired me to go out with some buddies. If it is the end of the world, I want to know I didn't waste the entirety of the last 15 years of my life in school.

Laugh tonight ATS!!!

Earthquakes happen everyday.
Every day is the end for some species on this planet.
Wars have always been happening, covered by the media or not.
Women in Congo are raped daily.
South African girls are sold for sex for about...4 bucks.
Child pornography is legal to possess in Russia.
Homosexuals are either imprisoned or executed in Iran.
Someone gets beheaded in Iraq probably on a weekly basis.
Someone may be executed in China for possessing porn.
ETC ETC ETC

The point?

Every day is the end of the world for someone or something. Times have always been rough for our species and this planet. It's just with the help of social networking, we are able to witness the horrors of nature (planet and human) at our computer desks.

The End of Who's world? Collectively, ours? Yours? MIne? In the time it takes to write this reply, twenty people's world ended. Our collective world WILL end, one way or another. This bright blue ball just can't take all the trash and filth and make it back into roses forever.

Will we be around to see it? Depends. Are we smarter than a bunch of greedy sumbitches who care only for their beach houses in Malibu and Martha's Vineyard? Are we brave enough to stand up for our rights, and the rights of all? Are we mostly violent with peaceful tendencies, or vice versa?

Is it the End of the World? Depends on if we can pull our collective s#!t together and learn to treat this fragile rock and all that are on it with the respect that is due. Otherwise, yeah, it sure is.

society has been programing us for decades now to think the end is near. it has accelerated in the last year very rapidly. its been programed into us side by side with the ufo phenomenon. In fact I believe that is the illuminati's objective. according to numerous ex-satanist interviews found on you tube, satan's last card played in his great plan is the ufo card Eeven ronald regan said we would need a common outside enemy to unite us. Also the last card in the illuminati card game is in fact the ufo card. coincidence? the bible if I remember correctly describes it as the great deception. I know it sounds like something out of a tv show, but if you research different topics like the illuminati, ufos, demonology, numerology, satanism, politics. you will see they all have some underlying connection. it seems they are subliminally programming us slightly then more and more over decades of time very patiently. otherwise we wouldnt believe their plan, which seems to involve aliens and the destruction of earth or its people.

Yes, I believe it's "the end of the world as we know it".

This in no way states whether that will be positive or negative, but it is Not the end of Earth and it is Not the end of Humans. I believe it most likely to be an end to society, political and financial structures etc. It could be the end of lies and evil controlling the world, it could be an end to suppressed human minds so we can start using 100% of our brains and DNA. And sure on the bad side it could be the end of freedom and the start of the NWO.

I believe this "end of the world" will be pretty intense and bad for us physically, and there will probably be a lot of destruction, but at the end of these trials there is a new bright future, one I hope to be around for to start building the new world!

Every generation for the past couple thousand years has believed that they were in the "end times."

So I vote NO.

No, deluded people of every single generation have claimed their times are the end times. Yall are no different. Peoples only "evidence" are "so many things are happening" but the truth is these times are no more eventful or deadly per population than various other points in history. Imagine living during one of the world wars or the great depression or the great plague etc, those were alot more impactful and "world ending" than a few stupid wars for oil going on here and there and a recession and w/e else and yet they got through it and it wasnt the end of the world, neither is this. Not to mention, with the internet age where you can read about # that happens within minutes, and obviously alot denser population, its going to seem like more "stuff" is happening than in the past where the flow of information was much less.

Natural disasters haven't increased statistically despite what uninformed people claim, the only thing thats changed is as the world population has exponentially grown, theres obviously more people/buildings etc therefor theres obviously going to be a bigger chance for natural disasters to kill people/do damage and thus be noticed. Theres cities now where there used to be farms or nothing at all, so obviously an earthquake or w/e now is going to seem alot "worse" and "sign of the times" than if it happened hundreds of years ago even though its the same magnitude and just as natural as it would be back then.

Dont even get me started on stupid predictions which have always existed and always been "predicting" the end is niegh.
Sad fact is many people just desperately want "the end" cause they are bored and watched too many movies so they think they'll be some hero living through it all, or their life just sucks. Wanting it wont make it happen tho, so get on with your life and stop holding your breath believing in every stupid doom prediction you see.

That was extremely well said, sir. I'd like to see a new thread dedicated to that very sentiment, as that is spot on to what my intuition is feeling. Wonder how many others 'see' 'feel' 'think' that too?

Yes, open your eyes
, this things are happening right under your noise.

Nothing of this sort happened on previous end of world predictions. Nada.

Therefore, turn towards the "light" and repent of your evil deeds and you shall be saved.

Whoa. Pretty creepy stuff there. I believe we are approaching something. I lean more towards a major shift or change than I do doom for all....so I guess I would have to say no. I am a pretty positive person, so even if it was doom for all, I feel confident that I would survive off your carcasses and spam.

If the world does end, what can any of us do about it? If there's nothing we can do to stop it, then why worry about it? Live each day as best you can and if the world does end, you will die knowing that you had a good life. Better that, than worrying about an event that you have absolutely no control over.

By the way, 12 year old scotch makes a wonderful "end of the world" drink.

Simple, you ( as a physical being) cannot prepare to whatever is coming considering you can't control it. What you can do tough may sounds weird but is to prepare spiritually. What do I mean by this? Simple another time, start to open your mind to unexplored avenues. You gotta be willing to understand the immortality of your soul and that the after life (after physical) is real. Then you will start worrying less about death (not meaning you want it), but simply understand it's part of the cycle of the existence. Meditaion can be a good way too to relate to this as it calm down and fulfill you with energy that keeps you more serene.

You can say I'm stupid or not to believe in this kind of thing and you know what? It is totally up to you it's alright
. The thing is I felt I had to tell you this because for me in this era of crazyness and crisis around the globe I started understanding the real meaning of my life out there.

Hoping you find yours in the time to come,

Sincerly,

Thruthseek3r
