What we expect the government to do is stop the intrusion on our privacy. If this were REALLY about safety and not money and power they would be using drug and explosive sniffing dogs at the airports. They are faster, more efficient, and millions of dollars cheaper.

This isn't exactly a cut and dry privacy issue since they are not coming to you but rather you are going to them and you know what to expect ahead of time. As for dogs, I'm pretty confident that a solid case could be made to the questionable nature of their accuracy. Between the dogs and metal detectors, one could easily slip in some non-metallic weapons. Obviously I'm no government apologist, only pointing out the facts that must be considered in a responsible discussion of this topic.

It's unfathomable that they are spending all this money and exposing children to molestation, and yes, in the mind of a child this is molestation, especially one who has been taught by a parent never to let an adult touch them. And what's worse, the child thinks the parent is standing by, watching them get molested. How confused do you think this little girl is now?

Molestation is distinctly sexual in nature, period. There's no real wiggle room in that definition, so again, if a child understands what that means it would have to be from experience. No amount of discussion with a child of that age would really give them a real understanding of it. Personally I am very forthcoming with my children as to the realities of the real world and even they don't really have a clear understanding of true molestation, so the point is moot.

Dogs would solve all of these problems and everyone would be happier, but no, this is all about that scumbag Michael Chertoff making billions by taking advantage of his former position in the government. Not to mention that this is a clear violation of the Fourth Amendment. It's a scam, and the blame rests solely on the shoulders of you and your ilk.

There is no magic bullet in this situation, and to say otherwise is to not really have the foresight to anticipate the repercussions of the alternatives. While I'd personally prefer no government involvement on the ground level, as it's wasteful and not needed, I have thought through the ramifications of removing them and see problems that must be brought up and addressed.

As for my ilk, who are you speaking about. Me, the libertarian who has renounced practically all forms of Federal expansion over the past 100 years and is staunchly against big government? If I'm your enemy then I'd hate to know who your friends with.

Good post. It's good to see someone take some action instead of just complaining. I don't see any changes being made though. For that to happen Napolitono would have to admit that she was wrong and that her department was incompetent. That is not going to happen.
It is more likely that some false flag will be used to justify their procedures.

I wouldn't put my daughter through this illegal search.
Take the train or just drive.
There is also the Kelly Ripa option - Marquis Jet -

To those that condone this, picture it this way:

Instead of a TSA agent, picture a elementary school teacher or guidance counselor or maybe a swim coach or Sunday school teacher..or any person with regular contact with children running their hands along a child in that manner..including feeling down both the front and back of their pants..were that your child..you would be calling the cops so fast their head would spin..

Yet because someone wears a badge and claims this to be in the name of security..that is alright with you?? What will you be okay with next, if this doesn't seem like groping..a strip search?

I have to wonder, if parents will step aside and allow these agents to touch their children inappropriately, would they allow their teachers, coaches, or other family members to put their hands on their children's body too? These children are being traumatized emotionally. They look to their parents to protect them, but in this video the mother is just standing there allowing it to take place.

This is the new normal that Janet Napolitano wants everyone to accept in the airport. Once they establish this as the new normal, it won't be long before roadside check points are set up, or bus stations will all have agents waiting to scan you or pat you down. I do believe this thread is plum full of disinfo agents too.

I disagree that this policy will be extended. There has already been a backlash against the backscatter slowing it's progress and purchases by airports down. Secondly, metal detectors have been around for literally decades. and they are still only at major events and airports. They have NOT trickled down to everyday places...in over 35 years of usage! If the NWO is using this a strategy this slow to implement my kid's kids will be dead by the time it's bad.

I live in an area that has many weapons and is pretty crime ridden. The schools are pretty tough and still to this day don't have metal detectors....even after Columbine they have no metal detectors. I'm surprised many of you don't think that the kids that shot up everyone at Columbine were part of the NWO conspiracy trying to get metal detectors in schools. It does make one think though...if they would have had metal detectors do you think that would have happened? I mean, is giving up a little freedom worth saving the lives of only a few innocents? In my opinion...yes. Of course.

When our framers of the constitution helped create the country's ideals not a single one of the ideals was that we should be able to buy from a private company without regard to their terms of service. It is a term of service that to fly we are subjected to sometimes invasive search. However...no one is forcing you to fly and there are other options available. If you don't like Walmart's poor service, shop at another store. If you don't like the airlines policies...use some other mode of transportation!

Flying is NOT a right. If you don't want your kid searched or to be subjected to waiting in line and being treated what you consider poorly...do not fly.

They would probably just shot them outside of school. I don't think metal detectors would have deterred these boys from their killing spree. They might have decided to do it in a theater, or on a playground, or in a crowded mall.
It might not have happened in school but it probably would have happened somewhere else.

What happened to...

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Sadly, I think people are ok with the TSA. When I speak with the people they always say, "I would rather be safe." It seems that mob rule has won and the republic that was America has changed. The TSA would not be around if all Americans refused to fly.

I shall use this reply to address this thread and all the people going "Oh my God!!"

People who are horrified by this are basically asking for their cake and to eat it too. Their yelling what about our freedoms and the government is intruding, when in actuality, it's part of the contract we all sign when we agree to participate in this society.

We can't have it both ways! The Devil has promised us dreams and riches (this wonderful society with all the niceties) but there's a price to be paid.

If we want our liberty and freedom, we have to give up what we call civilization. This is what many of you won't comprehend. We don't have a right to fly on an airplane, it's a luxury that the Devil has given us. The internet and every other piece of technology we love is a luxury that the Devil has given us! The Devil is what some of you refer to as the "Government".

We desire to reap the benefits, but cry when the Devil flexes its authority. Fools, we sold our souls to enjoy all of this.

If you don't want to be groped, spied upon, etc., simple...detach yourself from society and live how we were born, wild and simle. Otherwise, BOHICA!

This video has made it to a "ALL CAPS RED" headline on Drudge Report. I always can count on ATS to bring it to me before the rest of the worlds see's it.

Also, as for Japan going 7, the folks in the Japan thread have been stating this for weeks!!!

Way to go ATS!!! Thumbs up!

What about the previous 50 years the government are the only Terrorist you see. 911 was a falseflag. Remember building 7 and Golf of Tonkin(Vietnam War) its all part of the show. To Increase control over society that is part of the Agenda of the elites.

The Government at the highest levels are more so Terrorist; than the (Saudis)Terrorists henchmen who helped them orchestrate 911

Also, it's not just airplanes anymore. They are now implementing these tactics at bus and train stations.

Was the Golf of Tonkin a par 3 or par 4? LOL. Just kidding...Seriously though, I think you give the government way too much credit. The Government fails in almost everything it touches. In my opinion the Gov't is for too incompetent to implement and carry out a 50 year agenda of societal manipulation.

I am not saying that society does not change and evolve over time, it clearly does....I am just saying that I don't believe that there are all-powerful puppet masters, behind the scenes, pulling the strings. Government is far too self destructive for that.

If a plane can hold 100 or more passengers and thus is a desirable target to terrorists, what would stop them from switching other locations with lots of people? If kids are likely to be used by terrorists, as some have claimed here, why not just put an explosive in their back packs and send them to school?
What are we going to do about that? Are we going to take preemptive action and start doing TSA type pat downs every time a kid walks into a public school or a mall or sporting event?
This would be complete nonsense and of course would never be allowed to happen.........or would it?

Nothing surprises me anymore. We are heading for a Dystopian future where we will all be subject to scans and any assumed rights to privacy will be removed.....all in the name of safety....or rather government control.

You're right that the government are the terrorists. The government are also what allows us to live as we currently do.

If we didn't have a strong government, we would be run by warlords as in Somalia. The gangsters (Capone, the Mob) that were too strong for city/state governments would have become like kings if not for federal assets stepping in and taking them down. The country would be a worst hell hole for minorities because there would have never been a civil rights victory, hell there would still be slavery in most States.

America would have never become the world power that it is without a strong centralized government. Instead we would be 50 nations...think Afrika. We would still be living a frontier type existance with outlaws simply running too a different State.

Those are the good things that the Devil/Society/our Government have provide us...in exchange for our freedom.

Everything that America is/was, that you people miss, is because we had a strong government. Imagine WWII and we trying to fight Germany and Japan as 50 separate States!

You're right, a government of regular men could not hold this world hostage for centuries. Which is evidence that there is something more too it. Be it aliens, demons or whatever some wish to refer to them as. There are powers behind the scenes orchestrating this mess.

Hopeless is the right word. I love how were told Hope can change the world and by doing all these green things and ways of living we can make a difference. I dont understand how people can go along with the way of the world now a days. Ive been calling for a movement for years however here in Canada most people I know are too happy with the status quo to stop and realize were stuck in this socio-economic slave system until we rise up against it.

How much you want to bet this scanning and groping will eventually be extended to train and major bus (like greyhound) depots.............it's coming, inch by inch, a little at a time.
