Fair enough.

I don't pretend to know what horrible things you have seen on your tour, and I give you credit for making it back in one working piece.

All I know is when I see a six year old girl being felt up and worked over like she is an Al Quaida operative....on American soil..... it sort of pisses me off and gets my blood boiling a little.

All a symptom of this diseased, deranged society that we now live in.

Thank you, but just because this is America doesn't mean the same things over there can't happen here. Muslim extremists change their approaches every single day.. you just never know. Oh and have you ever heard "The price for freedom, is eternal vigilance"? I think that should be everyones way of thinking, at least try and save the few freedoms we still have left before they are all gone.

I agree they can happen here but as one of our founding fathers said “Those who sacrifice Liberty for security deserve neither”. I think we should probably take a lesson from Israel when it comes to airport security. I too was Military so I can appreciate vigilance, I prefer to call it paranoia. We shouldn`t be at a place where we are saying we should save what freedoms we have left, we should abolish the Patriot act and get what we have given up back for a start. Then we can get rid of homeland security and let the FBI do their freaking job.

This quote is so misquoted its not even funny. Correct version:

Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

This makes me profoundly sad. That's the only thing I can muster to say about it. It makes me sad.

That and, of course...

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Emphasis mine. What warrant was issued? On whose oath or affirmation was it issued? On what probable cause was it based? Ah, but knowing my constitution makes me a potential terrorist now, too, right, according to DHS guidelines to law enforcement now?

Hello everyone, long time reader here.. i joined but haven't posted much, but I JUST have to comment on this.

Have any of you actually watched the video. I went through 7 pages, and it looks like everyone just jumped on the bandwagon of the OP. I gather that from the lack of reference to the evidence (the video), and many of you just repeating the same thing over and over, and then starring each other.

I watched the video and I can see nothing inappropriate. I want atleast ONE person to give me specific times in this video where the child molester grabs the girl.

And alot of you reference the future. "What will you be saying when the standard is *insert unacceptable act here*". Those statements aren't valid points towards this recent event. The TSA agent explained what was going on while the search was in progress. The child's mother (and father?) were there, observing the search, and the agent told them exactly what was happening. Theres no way that if something unreasonable happened that they'd have stood there and just video taped it.

It seems funny that many of you believe that UFO's from other dimensions visit the Earth everyday, that the world's leaders are hellcats in human suits, that the sky isnt blue, but its unbelievable that a child could be used for a terror attack? (Just to point out, I fall in some of these categories. I joined ATS looking or the truth on several supernatural matters)

Please notice I called noone any names. I didn't question anyone's ethics, I didn't question your intelligence, I didn't question your humanity. I can hope for a civil response, but I have read too many threads on this website for too long to believe in that.

To those that condone this, picture it this way:

Instead of a TSA agent, picture a elementary school teacher or guidance counselor or maybe a swim coach or Sunday school teacher..or any person with regular contact with children running their hands along a child in that manner..including feeling down both the front and back of their pants..were that your child..you would be calling the cops so fast their head would spin..

Yet because someone wears a badge and claims this to be in the name of security..that is alright with you?? What will you be okay with next, if this doesn't seem like groping..a strip search?

While the United States actually has a long history of dubious legislation in the name of "national security", beginning with the Alien and Sedition Acts to the present, there was a time when such intrusions created a general sense of outrage amongst the populace. It is unthinkable that twenty, thirty, forty, or fifty years ago people would have accepted the patting down of their person by a government agent just to board an airplane for the purpose of travel as an acceptable form of government.

As a poster just recently pointed out, terrorism is an indirect attack on the civilian population, as opposed to a direct attack on that nations military, in order to create an overwhelming sense of fear so that the populace will in response demand tighter security. The strategy behind this is that the government will only be too happy to comply with tighter security and in doing so create a situation where at some point the very same population that demanded tighter security will become disillusioned with the police state they created and begin looking for regime changes that will bring that nation back to a more acceptable level of freedom. What the terrorists are after is regime change, and the way the go about it is an indirect strategy of frightening the population to a point that they themselves create the very circumstances that bring about this regime change.

This is not just some theory bandied about by dubious scholars, this is a long understood strategy. So long has it been understood that it is fairly assumed that military strategists within the Pentagon, and certainly even many civilian politicians understand this strategy. Whether 9/11 was actually an attack made on Americans by Muslim extremists or actually an inside job, the reaction to the attack has been questionable to say the least. Whatever is the truth behind the actual 9/11 attack the military industrial complex clearly believes they can handle any dissatisfaction of the populace engendered by this reaction.

Even before 9/11, from the top down, and the bottom up, local, state, and federal government has been steadily usurping the inherent political power of the people. Part of this has happened because of apathy, and part has happened because of ignorance, and part has happened due to expedience, but it has all happened right under the noses of the very people who have always had the responsibility to remain constant in their vigilance of protecting freedom, and that responsibility lies with We the People.

At this point, very few of We the People accept that responsibility, while the remainder lurk and occasionally speak up long enough to suggest that those who are being vigilant are too paranoid, or too this or too that. It really doesn't matter how polite they are about it, the tragedy is that they ridicule or question a vigilance of freedom and instead argue for a less free country that has little to no regard for unalienable rights, and instead paints an illusion of safety.

This is essentially where we are at in this country. Where we are headed is anyone's guess, but as long as the vigilant remain few and far between it is fairly predictable that freedom and unalienable rights will at some point become a foot note discussed as a nice idea that just didn't work out.

The flaw in that thinking is.... Why would any of them be searching anyone? The TSA in this case is security for the airlines, and this is a security measure. There would be no reason for a school coach to patdown anyone.

But then again, I'm from Memphis, Tennessee... and during highschool, I've gone through several of such patdowns. Parents complained and then the patdowns stopped. Two days later, a kid was shot in the gym during lunch time. Then the parents complained that enough wasn't done.

I'm a people watcher, and it seems to me that many can't make a decisive choice and stick with it.

sorry i disagree
I lived overseas and trust me they have more freedom then here.
Yes there are much worse places than here but there are also much better places also and before you say then leave that is exactly what i plan to do seems illegals have more rights in the USA than i do as an American so if i'm going to be treated like a foreigner i might as well be a happy one somewhere else.

The government is in the middle of a program.

That program is designed to control you.

You are not free. Forget about freedom.

You are a commodity. An owned substance.

They will grope your little girls, and you will put up with it.

That is the program. It's about control.

They want to control your mind, your psychology, your body... your entire life.

How is the program affecting you?

Will you accept or reject the project?

Oh, H-E-double-hockey-sticks NO. I would have been arrested, for knocking that woman OUT. NO ONE is touching my kids like that. Me, either, for that matter. What part of having a right to no illegal search and seizure do these idiots not understand?!?!?

correct, it can happen here. That agent could have also given the little girl a winning lotto ticket, those are probably better odds than the girl blowing up planes. The point isn't whether it can or can't happen. Anything can happen to include aliens blowing up the plane. What is important is to secure against what is likely to happen. Profiling terrorists has proven to be quite effective in Israel and our stupid notion of "fairness" has old ladies and men and our invalid and little children being patted down.

I two have served in war and have seen some crazy and horrible things. That doesn't mean we need to go overboard at home. I guarantee that while the tsa joker were being "fair" by groping that girl they were also being "fair" by letting someone who should be checked go through so they can show their "fairness".

In all actuality this sense of "fairness" probably makes us less safe.

What exactly do you expect them to do? Three points:

1) Like it or not there are people who can and will use children and our sensitivities to them against us by hiding items on their bodies.

2) This is far from "groping", by definition.

3) If the issue is that it's the government doing it, fine...

Would it be different if it was a private company?

Peace
KJ

What we expect the government to do is stop the intrusion on our privacy. If this were REALLY about safety and not money and power they would be using drug and explosive sniffing dogs at the airports. They are faster, more efficient, and millions of dollars cheaper.

It's unfathomable that they are spending all this money and exposing children to molestation, and yes, in the mind of a child this is molestation, especially one who has been taught by a parent never to let an adult touch them. And what's worse, the child thinks the parent is standing by, watching them get molested. How confused do you think this little girl is now?

Dogs would solve all of these problems and everyone would be happier, but no, this is all about that scumbag Michael Chertoff making billions by taking advantage of his former position in the government. Not to mention that this is a clear violation of the Fourth Amendment. It's a scam, and the blame rests solely on the shoulders of you and your ilk.

If a million people marched on D.C. I have no doubt whatsoever the president will use 'deadly' force to quell the anger and just like puppets the brainwashed riflemen of the United States army will fire on their own citizens.

You know just how #ed up we as hu-man beings are when we pay more attention to 'facebook wranglings' and reality tv shows than the outside world that effects us directly. Its a terrible state of affairs and I can only see it getting worst.

This kind of behaviour is wrong and should be stopped immediately !

Why are they called terrorists? Because their number one goal is to make you live in terror. They can't actually take down a nation, so the goal is to get you to do it for them. Are you afraid of 6 year old girls? Mission Accomplished. We have already lost the war on terror, time to bring the troops home.

You have it exactly right Phantom. We know who they are, we know where they live, we have the ability to make them stop. whats the problem people?

Yes, or maybe that yoga teacher someone has posted a vid of adjusting the kids on another thread here. If so many people found that creepy, I would hope they find the TSA agents "enhanced pat downs" even more so because it's being forced on anyone wanting to travel on planes.

This is all you. All of you. Being afraid daily. Can't deal with your own problems and fears so you go to a man and share your views. Then you have thousands of men who all share the same ordeal then eventually someone stands up and says "We will take care of you just listen to us".

Long story short. Deal with your own # stop #ing looking at other people to solve your own problems.

This doesn't mean taking a shotgun to the womans head but dealing with your own problems psychologically and finding an attitude that doesn't put your own free natural rights at risk or give your power to another insecure person.

What would they say if they found a stash of weed in her pants ? - Bad girl! you... bad bad girl!
