I think you sheeple drones need to wake up to reality that everything you see in the news on the internet and on TV isn't the truth your a sheeple kneeling to the government; cowards all of you.
edit on 11-4-2011 by XRaDiiX because: (no reason given)

I'm not kneeling to the government at all. By the way, aren't you late for work at Taco Bell?

Your parents probably want their laptop back.

You're sick steep low to personal comments shows what kind of condescending freak you really are. You along with the rest of the drones deserve whats coming to you! Obedient little Sheep

You're right. It was a stupid comment. Almost as stupid as repeatedly using terms like "drone" and "sheeple." In 5 years you will look back on your current beliefs and see the err of your ways. As a kid everything is anti-establishment and down with the man. No matter what you think, discernment comes with age and living life.

But seriously, for the most part I probably share a lot of beliefs with you regarding the government etc. I just don't think this particular issue is of importance and I think it's being made into a much bigger deal than it really is.

Whether you admit it or not, believing that 9/11 was an inside job another conspiracy theory takes almost as much of a leap of faith as believing in Allah. At some point somewhere along the line you have to jump and decide if you are for it or against it. You sound like you are "absolutely" sure in your beliefs which to me is the first sign of a follower and not a leader. It's okay to admit to a possibility of wrong...in fact you're foolish if you don't.

Your links are no more than strawman arguments...................But, whats more interesting is your belief that as long as they are not stripping people in public, it's not a violation..........................REALLY????

are you old enough to remember the 70's?
We had a rash of plane hijackings, do you believe if these TSA tatics were used then it would of been accepted??

I don't believe so, you know why?? not because there were not inherent dangers with these hijackings, that could of led to passenger deaths..........................No, it was because they had not yet CONDITIONED the masses, people like yourself, that these should be acceptable practices.

There is no more danger today, then there was in the 70's................Yes, the reasons behind the hijackings have changed, money vs. terroism, but a bomb in the 70's would do no less harm than one in todays world.

Is there a reason why people dont use the full body scanners?
I chose to use one instead of getting patted down recently and didnt really have a problem.

The scanner said I had something in my pocket, which I didnt. All I had to was turn it inside out to show there was nothing there and I was good to go.

Cheers

I am still waiting on proof that these see under my clothes. When I see proof, then by all means, I will stop walking through and I will consent to being groped

NOBODY can provide legit evidence that they x-ray through clothes, other than something that shows a vague picture and shows where the metal shows up.
Someone once tried to say the x-rays were so vivid and detailed that you could tell if a man was circumsized or not
PLEASE show me this proof, and not only will I eat my socks, but I will eat everyone else's as well. And I mean real proof, not something rigged up just to "shut me up".
Sorry, I just don't get the TSA hype.

This 'woman' (and I use that term losely) needs to be fired and I think everyone who watches this video needs to push to make it go viral so that this scum doesnt have a job and has to sit on her welfare check or get thrown in prison!

Hmm where were you when the white tsa officer did the same to the little boy near thanksgiving time.
Or is it ok for white folk to "feel up" kids....
edit on 11-4-2011 by TheLogicalist because: (no reason given)

Exactly.
The second a black person does something the racist come out of the wood work.
This site is full of dumb ass conspiracy theorist, and racist.

I like how he brings up race but when I reply to him regarding the white officer doing the same thing he goes quiet and ignores my post.

Hmm maybe in his mind it is ok if just whites did that.

I'm not black but it ticks me off when someone tries to pull the race card
For selfish reasons.

The part he added about welfare checks makes him sound more "racially motivated".

Be careful of those, they can "see through your clothes" apparently
so well, in fact, that it was wrong and you proved it so easily. Yep, that's harassment at it's worst, folks.

Am I missing something here? I have never once been searched, patted, groped, manhandled, or chastised by them. They don't even smile at me, let alone give me action! I have seen the lines for the metal detector walk-through and you can "opt out" of that, but by opting out, you're consenting to a search. So just...walk through. Seriously, am I missing something here?

Yes, what you are missing here is that the groping came after the nakedbody backscatter machines and is used when people do not want to submit to having total body scanning. How is it that you have escaped all this groping but a 6 yr old child must submit? Yes, the backscatter machines do show details and yes they do store the images, and yes some tsa have abused the system and also we do not know fully what the affects of the machines will be on DNA, particularly for frequent flyers and pregnant women. And people here are so freaked out about radiation from Fukushima that they are taking iodine pills. Where is the outrage over radiation from these backscatter machines?

Heres a pro back scatter site which actually shows a man's body and you can see the curviture of his spine as well as some other things. www.tech-faq.com...

If you fly internationally on the way back into the states you will usually be asked to walk through a back scatter x-ray machine. If you opt-out you will be aggressively frisked like the 6 year old.

On domestic flights people are randomly chosen for the advanced back scatter x-ray machine. If you are chosen, and then opt out you will receive the aggressive pat down like the little girl.

So, this only happened to the little girl because she (her parents) refused to walk through the scanner?

OK... I'm going to try and practice a little patience and self control on this thread. First of all, let me go ahead and tell you that I am with a lot of people that is incredibly disgusted with the direction that our country is going.. and I disagree with the way TSA handles themselves most of the time.. BUT. The first video shows a lady doing her job.. there is absolutely 100% no "groping" going on. She is simply doing her job, and checking the child in a very respectful way. Listen to the video, she explains everything she's doing and lets the mother watch. Now, yes the "The War on Terrorism" is a joke, the mother just seems pissed off because she doesn't want to be checked.. and well that's just too F'in bad. I'm sorry that people like b*tching because it takes forever going through customs, but you already know to leave early enough to make your flight. The author of the first video should not call it groping, because as an ex Soldier in both OEF/OIF I've had to search people, and I used the back of my hand and same respectful procedures she was using in the video. BTW 6 yr olds can conceal peices of things.. it's amazing. They've been doing it since Vietnam when they blew up on Soldiers and Marines so don't give me this "awww poor little girl has to be searched that's so unfair!!!!" that's garbage.People, like the guy in the 2nd video, is obviously oblivious to ANY possible dangers that involve flying, and seems like he just wants to find something to complain about. I get it, I'm extremely PISSED about gas prices these days, but I don't let it affect common sense.

Forgive me if this has been brought up already but flying is neither a "privilege" nor a "right".
It is a contract between yourself and an air carrier company.
Therefore it is a violation of your rights to be searched unless by purchase of your ticket you have consented to whatever stipulations are included in the ticket.
I haven't flown in years and I certainly will not as long as we have to go through the same thing convicts do whenever being transported.
All of this because of an "Underwear bomber" who only succeeded in burning himself?
It's like calling in an airstrike because you have an ant problem.

I wasn't there...so I can't say for sure. But, that's how it is supposed to go. If you are picked randomly and you refuse aka opt out of walking through the back scatter x-ray machine you will frisked. I've never heard of someone walking through the back scatter and then being frisked.

This brings up a whole different topic though...those back scatter x-ray machines (a lot more rays than the regular metal detector) can give off a lot of radiation. There are some scientists that say it can be harmful to your health....especially young kids. That's why my wife and I always skip them and just do the pat down. I'd rather be frisked then subjected to a lot of radiation.

EXACTLY! my way of thinking as well... people cause all this bullsh*t problems, and then want to put this stuff on tape and label it unjust.. COME ON! We know we're being screwed over, but let the people do their jobs by creating waves... want to create waves? How about protesting at the doors of the oil company CEO's house.. holy crap.

So you don't have a right to fly, walk into a mall, sporting event, or even a grocery store. Therefore, you must submit, give up your right to privacy, to whatever "security screening" they will eventually put into all these places because you don't have to go there. Sounds like a lovely place to live.

Which is more paranoid?

A person who thinks the government is trying to grab ever more power to the point of total dictatorship.

Or

A person who thinks American Moms might use their daughters to smuggle bombs onto planes because they want to kill everyone.

No.. not even by a long shot. It's called doing your job, and people want to put that in your head so that you will join their cause.. groping is groping.. respectful searches are something totally different.

All this extra "security" happened as a result of the 9-11 false flag operation in nyc and washington dc. Two wars, lost trillions and loss of dignity based on lies. When is enough...enough? If the government really cared about security all they need are metal detectors, baggage scanning, locked cockpit doors and of course 2-3 armed marshalls aboard each flight.

I cannot believe after all this bs, ten years after 9-11, that so many people continue to trust in government as our "saviors". It would be funny if it wasn't so damm pitiful. I would NEVER FLY under such conditions and there are many alternatives to cross country travelling. If you can't drive, then take a bus or the train. Maybe you will arrive a day or two later, but isn't it better than getting scanned and groped?

I agree that it's completely excessive. I like the analogy and will steal it for use later.

I do think it still falls into the privilege category though. It is commonly accepted that you have to abide by an organizations rules if you are going to use their service right? It's like TOS for your internet provider. Or the no shoes no shirt policy at stores. If you don't agree with their policies you don't have to use them.

The sketchy part is that the government has their hand in this policy. They are "regulating" it to make sure that everyone is using the same standards. Sadly enough there are plenty of private business that have had to have the big old government intervene to be able to meet uniform "standards."

There are no threads about OSHA or HIPAA though...I guess because those orgs don't literally touch our privates.
