Funny what gets passed off as 'evidence' around these parts.

There is as much 'evidence' they are battle-weary fighters from Iraq as there is they are 'freedom fighters'. Just one guy saying one thing, and another guy saying something else.

... I say put this so called reverend (he's a terrorist in my opinion) on a plane and send him to Kabul for a day. Just one day. This isn't about religion. This is about purposely trying to incite people. He should face those he wishes to incite face to face if he feels that strongly about things. He's a coward...plain and simple.
You're a very, very confused individual. The actions of western nations in their constant intervention in the middle east, their perpetual military attacks, bombing, killing, raping, pillaging, torturing, murdering, stealing... you give everyone else a pass. Interesting.
And when you call them these "people". What does that mean? What is your categorization, really?
You are just so confused.
By that logic, the Chinese should be attacking the U.S. and the U.K. right now. And those are just to start. Those two countries are responsible - BY FAR - for the worst human rights atrocities and violations of the past 2 decades.

"Really?... is that why most tribes in Iraq united to fight Al Qaeda, and other FOREIGN Islamic extremists?... "
..lol.. ever consider US troops are seen as foreign?, and extremists?
The local people in Af-pak-Iraq-istan areas are still attacking foreign troops & interests for one basic and obvious reason: They're not inspired to jump on the "Team America" bandwagon.. because they know, just like we do, GOP & DNC politicians are untrustworthy liars full of crap.

Anyone who wants to kill someone over their "holy book" being burned needs some serious mental help as well. And, of all the people to get revenge from, folks from the U.N.?
Terry Jones (I refuse to refer to him as a "Reverend") knew innocent people would get killed, they have threatened that. I'm not arguing what they did is right. Those people have no money or I'm sure they would come here and take care of the issue personally with this guy. Terry Jones knew exactly what the results of this would be. However, he still choose to do it knowing it wouldn't be him that suffered the that result. I don't think Terry Jones has any mental issues...he is a big coward though. Got something to say? Say it directly to the people you have a problem with, don't cower back here in the usa with police protection and all that.
Put him on a plane and send him to Afghanistan. Guarantee he would be singing Allah's praises the first hour after touchdown. It won't help him though. They'll have his head on a stick in no time. I'd cheer them on.

Yeah, it's a lot easier to ignore all the innocent people that die in war by dehumanizing them isn't it?

BAGHDAD, Iraq — A bomb rips through a women's hair salon, shattering wall-length mirrors and shredding posters of various coiffures.
In another neighborhood, gunmen fire wildly into a busy barbershop, killing the owner and three teenage boys as they wait for haircuts.
At yet another shop, a masked visitor presses a note into the palm of a horrified haircutter. The message: "Our swords are thriving for the neck of barbers."
Iraq's insurgency has long targeted other Iraqis — police, government leaders and national guardsmen — as a means of destabilizing the nascent democracy, but now guerrillas have taken aim at a far more unlikely line of work.

Iraqi Civilians Fight Back Against Insurgents
By ROBERT F. WORTH
Published: March 23, 2005
BAGHDAD, Iraq, March 22 - Ordinary Iraqis rarely strike back at the insurgents who terrorize their country. But just before noon on Tuesday, a carpenter named Dhia saw a troop of masked gunmen with grenades coming toward his shop here and decided he had had enough.
As the gunmen emerged from their cars, Dhia and his young relatives shouldered their Kalashnikov rifles and opened fire, the police and witnesses said. In the fierce gun battle that followed, three of the insurgents were killed, and the rest fled just after the police arrived. Two of Dhias nephews and a bystander were wounded, the police said.
"We attacked them before they attacked us," said Dhia, 35, his face still contorted with rage and excitement, as he stood barefoot outside his home a few hours after the battle, a 9-millimeter pistol in his hand. He would not give his last name.
"We killed three of those who call themselves the mujahedeen," he said. "I am waiting for the rest of them to come, and we will show them."

The Muslims in those pictures are extremely poor, and beaten down by their own governments who indoctrinate them from birth to believe that the west is the source of all their troubles. It has nothing to do with their religion being more violent than others, many of those ancient books glorified violence. It's their level of poverty and hopelessness channeled into fanatacism, extreme anger, and hatred.
