I find this very disturbung.

What really upsets me is the fact that you can get a discount if you can prove that you have a special skill/are valuable to the group.

If I liquidated I could afford their cheapest accommodation. I thought about it and concluded that since they only allow small pets (I have a precious, beautiful german shepherd) then NO THANKS. I also considered the people I would end up having to hang out with and I don't really think it would be a good fit.

I'd rather take my chances top-side with my dog.

Great post, S&F to you. But I disagree about how it may play out in the vent of an ELE. For one, I doubt that TPTB would want to be the sole survivors to emerge after a catastophe. I cant imagine them putting themselves in a position where they have to do hard labor or even menial work. They will want us around. The scientist, politicians and the rich will not be willing to go out and construct homes, dig latrines, pave roads, cart off the millions of bodies, or work on maintaining vehicles. They will want us around for at least those things. With that in mind, I cant see a plan in place that leaves the common man to perish.

What happens with the 104 NUCLEAR PLANTS we have in the USA right now in case of a catastrophic event? If those of us that are on the top side manage to survive, how long before all that radiation from these plants gets us, if there is no one to keep them going?
And all the other nuclear plants around the world? I don't think we will have to worry about those coming out of their bunkers, look what they will be coming out to.

Well if the time comes they do need to use these vaults and DUMBs, and I happen to survive the ________, then I'd leave a big flaming bag of poo on their doorstep and ring the doorbell.

Preserving seeds seems like a natural thing to do regardless of whether they "know" something or not. It's more of a "just in case" thing, in my opinion.

Bring it on. I am sick of hearing or reading how we are all going to die. I will fight to the very end. If that end is only 2 seconds after an event, then so be it. If I survive long enough to see TPTB come out of their holes, me and the poster on the first page will wage a war they will never forget. If these SOB's think they can leave me for dead and then come out of their safe hiding place to tell me what to do. Here is my message to "THEM". Rob Halford said it best, " you got another thing coming". Because I will pillage for the best equipment I can find.

I do not think anything is going to happen and I cannot wait until 2013 gets here. I will laugh. If something does happen then we have bigger problems to worry about.

I hope nothing happens either. But as I posted above, if it did , I don't think we will have to worry about those in the underground bunkers, (Unless they can stay down there indefinitely.) With over 400 NUCLEAR PLANTS in the world and no one to manage them, it doesn't look as if anyone is going to survive.

Also, imagine an unpredictable disaster happened and a good percentage of earth's plants went extinct - and we didn't preserve them. I guarantee you that people would criticize them for not having done what they're doing right now. Hypocrites.

Now how would you know what is to happen on this planet? he was only explaining what would happen if something of the sort were to come.

While I see the need to protect our heritage(seeds) to promote new growth that willbe lost.
My question is why now?Can anyone actually answer that?
I will not promote an alarmists agenda of the world ending. Could it? Of course.


I find it more intriguing because of the lack of bees and how much we have screweed up and polluted our world.

Well, living here in Illinois I am a little concerned about the nuclear plants. High tail it north cross the canadian border. I will worry about that if the time comes. Until then, I wish it would quit snowing outside. I am ready for summer.

Hmm... you have made a very good point about the bees! Also frogs. I used to see frogs everywhere and now I rarely ever see one. "Once upon a time" when it rained , the roads would be full of frogs. I really hated squishing frogs rolling down the road.

Just because I am able to have my own opinions instead of listening to nutjobs on this site doesn't make me a sheep.

I think this thread is just a ...what if scenario... and people are expressing what they think would happen if this did become a reality. You know !..What they would do and how they think it will play out..and how do we survive..That is if it is an ELE.

on this subject i have only 2 points one is if there is such an event what happens to the insects and bats who propagate the plants and of the elite who is going to clean the toilets ????

do they have marijuana seeds and coca seeds. what for, so they can populate the earth with them and when they catch you smoking a joint they can thru you in jail.

if it comes down to that coc aine and weed should be legal because there's no excuse for them being on earth.
