The premise of this thread is flawed. The putting up or shutting up will come at one of two times, and only one of these two times. Either human kind will bump into a neighbor race at some point, and the believers will be somewhat vindicated (although not all of them will be happy, Im sure the hippy "Aliens are Gods" crew will be mortified if it turns out the neighbors know all about drink drugs and gun crime as well ), or the universe will end, or the species will end without us having met anyone or anything else out there, and the skeptics last word will be " I told you so".... Although that wont be the end of it, because in a space as big as the universe, whos to say what the lack of meeting might mean. Perhaps we just missed eachother BLAH BLAH the argument goes on.

All I will say on the issue is, proof at this point is not an acceptable benchmark. There are two many biased and powerful parties in play at this time, for the waters to be clear enough to prove that up isnt down, and that black isnt white.
The only acceptable way forward, rather than making demands and posturing, and territorial phallus waving of that nature , would be to have ALL of us, skeptics, believers, fence sitters actualy go out, and really LOOK at everything and anything, for an answer, for enlightenment, for the greater good. Just get the hell out from behind your desk, and go outdoors, and LOOK for yourself. Dont ask for proof from a believer, and never ask for proof from a skeptic, because they think you cant prove a negative. Just get out there and work together instead of having the debate. The debate is waste, only learning is an efficient use of our time.

I can see you are seeking the absolute truth. A lot of it is embedded in history and what you are looking for is in this reality.
A lot of us are muddling around chasing snippets here and end up looking at mega posts done and redone
running around from site to site looking for the bit of truth that will convince us.
As you I am totally frustrated and just wish it would all come out in the open.

I'm not sure if you now... but true skeptics need proof not blind faith, and even then it is not a "sure fact". Just because something is called "true", a skeptic needs proof of some kind to accept it as true, or closest to "true".

In the case of UFO being truly alien, I am also agnostic and skeptical, until REAL proof is available, then I will need to re-evaluate.

I realy used to believe in ET's visiting earth,other life out their sure, in our galaxy very probably. Getting over the massive distances involved? Ok i could make a leap of faith.
Then i discovered Project Blue Beam and some how this has resonated more strongly with me then any other concept, im not exactly sure why.
So projected energy orbs over citys,fake disclosure and the greatest act of mental manipulation ever is what im watching the skies for.

Your post shows you haven't done any real research on the subject. If you had, you would find out that their are numerous amounts of physical evidence and ancient evidence supporting this. Did you know we had an aircraft back in the 80's that was able to avoid radar? We didn't have proof or know until our government came out publicly about it. There were eye witnesses and articles declaring it, but yet that was all questionable. Scientific papers are being written on this technology such as cloaking (bending light rays around an object), transporting objects from one point to another, the heat ray gun the military is testing now in Afghanistan, anti-gravity, night vision goggles, fiber optics and the list goes on and on. I don't just take one witnesses account as fact. To do research correctly you have to substantiate reports with other previous reports. I’m not trying to be funny but i am on 13 web sites and i here things like this every day ,i have gotten to the point in which im just fed up with hearing all theses THEORIES with no hard conclusive evidence that would make man change his beliefs on religion itself.
I am never reading a book because it deals in the book writers theories and not evidence I can care less about these TV shows because they deal in theories too.
I rather come on here and talk to real people and listen to them then some one with a terrific high class therie and put it in a book for profit.
