After watching this, I remember something I saw the other night, while reading about something unrelated to this forum.
At low altitude, with some amount of humidity in the air, the pressure differences on the tops ad bottoms of the wings will cause moisture to compress, and essentially form a cloud-like layer that goes over the wing.
It's generally very short lived, but... coupled with light reflections, and a pale blue sky, it would definitely look like a wing disappeared from view.
I wish I could remember where I read about the effect, and link it as a source.

Between your video, and what I read the other night, I'm pretty convinced it was an optical illusion.

EDIT - found the link. I was reading about Operation Crossroads, and stumbled upon the entry for Condensation Clouds (or Wilson Clouds). I'll post the link, and quote the exact passage about the effect on wings.

Why is it that in the video you posted; you can clearly see a transition of the wings going from solid to invisible, yet when in the video posted by the original poster the wing disappears within a millisecond, and no transition is seen? Not to mention I would think it would be more difficult to see a transition in the video you posted considering they are traveling and turning much faster than a normal airplane, yet I still see it morphing from visible to invisible, not disappearing..

We are talking about a 767 here with a rigid wing and a wingspan of 156ft... not a fighter jet with movable wings and a max wingspan of 64 ft un-swept....

If anyone wants to prove that the effect was the sun light on the wing, then you are going to need a commercial flight or plane with very similar wing dimensions exhibiting the same behaviour from multiple shots using different cameras...

Can you please tell me how you developed super human vision. I would be interested in how you are able to see water vapor on a moving plane 1/2 mile away. Is there any logic in your life? Please show me where you came to this conclusion. I would bet the farm you are just regurgitating this from a truthers site. If you pick apart any incident that has video of every angle and 5 shots from each angle.. I promise you, you will see differences in those too. You have differences in distance/angle/shutter speed and all of that other logical stuff that you have choosen to remove from your life.

It is interesting that you bring this up... 80% of the people here agree that this "wing disappearance" is caused by reflection of light and or camera artifact. With that being said, it is your task to prove that this is what you say it is.

Why in the world do we need to do this? You have stated as FACT that the holes in the pentagon could not have been done by a passenger jet. You have stated that as FACT.. But using your above logic... Wouldn't you have to duplicate a passenger jet hitting the pentagon in that EXACT spot to make that conclusion? Yes yes yes you would.

You're right, it's not logical. That's why it didn't happen. The WTC didn't collapse completely into dust after the collapse. You're completely wrong in that statement. The debris was like ten stories high and spread out all over the Trade Center complex.
