Thank you for pointing that out; I noticed that yesterday. I had meant to say "It is not Yahweh's wish that anyone should perish". Unfortunately, it's a typo and I missed the 4 hour window in which to edit it.

Here is the thing, The Christians have been warning us for many years about what their God will do, this and that, and I don't care anymore. Christians do not have a lock on the truth, even though they think they do, and there will come a day when everyone that calls themselves "Christian" will have to stand for crimes against humanity performed in the names of Jesus.

I'm not sure about the Roman fresque (frieze?) you refer to, but your last paragraph, specifically last sentence was something I wished to comment upon.

It is undeniable that the worst atrocities commited by man were in the name of one God or another. I could not agree with you more. The hypocrasy from religious people claiming to be here to save my soul, our soul etc.. is in my mind laughable when taken into the context of what "their" religion has done to humanity as a whole. So for your statement I sincerely applaud you.

What I truly do not understand is why supposedly learned people (why else would you be on these forums) still refuse to accept that any historical document could just be pure manufactured drivel. Hence, the Bible, Qu'ran etc.. could have no substance whatsoever. Sadly, faced with this fact most people of staunch religious belief go into a fevor and start whittering away passages from said books.

Ah well, I guess religion performed it's task with those and turned them into non subjective or objective thinking people.

I will just finish by mentioning one point in history most religious people should remember, study and cry about:
The Crusades.

Thank you, it is rare when an intelligent soul agrees with old autowrench. The Crusades were one thing, the Burning times and Inquisition was what I was referring to. The Christian crowd always yells that the Romans fed them to the lions, but! the Romans also wrote their New Testament, complete with the tales of the GodMan Jesus, and they gobble that right up and swear on Holy God that these are the actual words of Christ. So I guess the Romans got the last laugh, after all.

Of course, it has been my sad take that most either are incapable of learning new things, or they simply do not wish to learn new things. "Judge Not, Lest you be Judged," their book says, but they do go about judging us all, don't they? I just hope I have a say in their fate.

When I was a small child my mother had to take me out of church. Nightmares. At times she had to sleep with me.
She would say "don't be so frightened, God loves you". And I would say but what about the horsemen? What about rivers running with blood", (and my true terror....) What about the thief in the night? And she would say "you don't need to worry about that". But I did.

I overheard her explaining it on the phone to her sister. lol. She said "all the other children are busy causing a ruckus, passing notes to each other, sleeping and daydreaming. But MY daughter sits there with eyes wide open, mouth agape, taking in every word, then I have to come home and deal with the nightmares". lol. So we started going to a more....quiet.....church.

To this day I assert that religion, Revelation, is too complicated for children, and it should be studied seriously only in adulthood. Yep.

Now for some comic relief. Lewis Black the stand-up comedian who is Jewish, had this to say.

He was taking about the Old Testament, and Jews, and how the Old Testament was The Bible. God was scary, to be feared, and his wrath to be avoided at all costs.

Then along came Christians and the "New Testament". Of course, this made their Bible "old". The Bible, became "The Old Testament", according to these Christians. Christians had a "New" one, and it had a "new character".

"Read about him", they said, "you'll love him" !

So the Jews did. And what they discovered was not only did the Christians have a "new" book, with a "new" character, but also they found that God had apparently gone to Anger Management classes!

This is exactly where my studies on the matter have led me as well. If you are going to look for any truth you have to go back to the oldest known records and they all point to alien intervention and genetic modification. It seems that TPTB hold a lot of secret knowledge in this area and are secretly working for and worshipping Enlil. There you go! That's all that is necessary against all the drivel being bandied about on here. Complete and utter trust that the plan Yahweh has is what is best for you, personally. As long as one remembers that He is in complete control, and loves you much, it's all good!

I certainly hope these roots go deeper than anything else! If not, these hard lessons I have had to learn are just misspent time. But, I think after reading the reactions of some on here, my lessons have been a success.

How can you prove that is proof? Because you and countless others believe it is an accurate translation of the Bible? When did Christians become Muslims? This is the same thing Islam presents to the table. Arabic is the true language of the Quran and that it is best understood in that language.

Of course it is! Every one of us that have spent so much time seeking truth have seen all these same texts, scrolls, glyphs, myths, etc. we know they exist. But where as you have decided that they are true and Yahweh is a liar, I realize that all of that has been left for us to find and be misled by.

Do you think that the one who wants you to be blind to the truth was just invented?! You do not realize that he has had all the time in the world, since the beginning of time, to make sure this material was written and found?!
What better plan could there be to test the trust of creation, than information that has been proven to be so ancient. He knew all along that weak-willed. weak-kneed, easily-led sheeple would choose the lie over the truth.
