don't get me wrong - I believe in ET craft, but the recent posts on ATS seem full of hysteria, this almost seems like a dis-info campaign of 'cry-wolf' proportions. When a real ET craft shows itself the amount of youtube dross will convince most people it's another hoax. over the last few weeks 'joining the dots' seems to have gone way off track - I believe people are jumping to conclusions way too quickly - post videos and reports by all accounts but when members critique them it's often for rational reasons. Let's not contribute to a hysteria, it does UFO investigation no good at all imo.

This is the channel 7, WABC report. It looks like a small cluster of balloons to me but :shrug:

Maybe people that just want to add a little bit of "cover-up" salt into the story released those balloons on purpose with the intention of misdirection to other stuff thats going on at this moment... dunno, just saying it might be plausible...

Umm if you look in the comments section of that Moscow 10 10 10 video it gives you a link to the original video that was uploaded back in 2009 , it's not from 10 10 10

There are balloons that get released, one way or another, everyday in NYC but it never causes anyone to think UFOs. I'm willing to believe that something out of the ordinary happened, whatever it was. Maybe some of you just don't understand New Yorkers, people will walk by a block that's been cordoned off and is full of SWAT and ESU vehicles and not think twice about it and you won't hear it on the news. There can be a street fair that is miles long going on just a block away from you and you wouldn't even notice.

I think people are excited because you never get UFO reports from NYC or most other large cities, the fact that it happened on the day the NORAD guy said has added to the excitement.

However, just because you looked out your window when you eventually heard about this and didn't see anything doesn't mean that no one else saw it. From what I've read, most UFO sightings don't last for 5 hours or happen at just the right spot so that everyone in a 10 mile radius will see it. Not everyone is on the internet every hour of the day, not everyone is on Twitter, if we wait, we may get more video or photos.

These look like several flocks of birds (on full screen, it looks like wings flapping & that is what they do when they migrate). The only thing is, I've never seen birds this white. Are there any ornithologists/ birders on here?

Why did this make it into the news?
Either they really want to make a quick buck via social networking sites or want to make people spotting UFO look really dumb (which they may have proved to be true today themselves).

Yes please just set the differences aside and allow others to speak. This thread is not about being right or wrong or bashing on one another over your ideas. In fact we all need to just let things go in this matter. We all should be more objective and try to get somewhere on the topic at hand rather than belittle and bash heads together.

notice how all the believers that were telling me to leave and attempting cheap insults have quietly slipped away now we have actual video of the "BALLOONS". funny how that happens isn't it?.

hate to say i told you so..... oh wait, I TOLD YOU SO !!!

hopefully this may teach a few people a lesson, stop posting garbage and rubbish claims, and use a bit more common sense before getting hysterical over nothing, then hopefully we can start to look at some decent material instead of this constant influx of rc planes, distant blurry lights etc etc.

and although i had a bit of fun today i really think this has been an embarrassment to A.T.S.
