Twitter ablaze with UFO sighting reports in NYC. Anyone confirm?

In all likelihood these could simply be balloons.
I don't doubt this could be a hoax at all.

The people in the video however seemed to believe they weren't looking at balloons. From the descriptions given by the guy filming the video, the objects in question allegedly exhibited strange behavior. Is it possible they were all fooled and were looking at balloons and the guy filming this was in on it?

Sure it is.
Then again it could be a completely unrelated event and not connected to the NORAD "seers" prophecies.

A good way to find out if this smells is if the NORAD guy starts taking credit.

I only recently read the NORAD prediction.
Is it even that popular?

From what I read, this small UFO sighting or balloon hoax doesn't even remotely begin to fulfill his prophecy.

If this is a hoax to validate that guys claims, then it's a pretty weak one.

yes, exactly. Not sure where the non-nyc people are finding evidence, but the videos posted that have been referred to on this site and huffpo show nothing but some people confusedly looking up on a street corner. I see that every day in times square- THEYRE CALLED TOURISTS. lol. and they make every walk home for me unbearable.

I repeat for those just joining us- no ufo- just some GD balloons.

and there's already been a picture of the supposed u.f.os which looked exactly like.... wait for it.... you guessed it, balloons! lol.

i think somebody has been planning this for a little while, also notice the nice new members on this thread today!. might just be reading too much into it but i get the feeling oat least one of them has come here purposely to aid the hoax..... it HAS been done before.... lol

Christ.. this is ridiculous. I mean I understand when you guys are die hard over some questionable footage but there is absolutely NOTHING here. NOTHING. I mean you guys are worse than the uber-religious types. Use your heads. I'm never like this on this site because it's about being open minded.
