I appreciate your remarks, I don't ALWAYS agree with how you think, but I usually agree with the message of getting along with one another. I don't beleive the supreme being watched everything we do. I think we are given free will, which means as we all are different, we can all achieve good things in MANY different ways.

As for your detractors, well I think some people can't look directly at themselves, therefore what you say disturbs them.
Being aware of what one eats...and that what we eat holds or held 'life'...the very same force of 'life' that is within you, and understanding this perfect circle for what it is (life must have life, to live) holds its own mysteries and wisdom's. Each food holds an energy...if you had to always look the animal in the eyes, kill it yourself, to gain your food....you would learn this wisdom and what its worth.

IAmIAM, So if you follow Christ's teachings or believe in them, do you believe Christ died for my sin, your sin and everybody else's sin?
Do you have your heretic gun ready?
Christ died on the cross to teach what sin was.
...interesting!... I kind of think that Christ died on the cross to show us what sin was not... course you could mean exactly that with your wording as well I think...

Yep, this is why language is a faulty method of communication, in my opinion of course.
Sin is NOT loving your fellow man enough to die on a cross for him to understand you love him unconditionally.
Sin is needing your fellow man to die on a cross to understand he loved you unconditionally.

Your Brother

its amazes me how many people cant see past your posts for what they really are, life is really that easy
it does start with us, and hardly anyone wants to take responsibility because they are ashamed of who they are or what they have done, so sad to live like that
one day though huh?
its just shows that many people still suffer and continue to feed that suffering even at the same time of wanting to be rid of that suffering
When I post on ATS I am usually sitting on my back porch enjoying the weather and scenery. It is quite peaceful and allows me to compose my thoughts clearly. Today is a beautiful sunny day with a pleasant gentle breeze. This is how I have been sitting when I read your message and began to think of a reply.
In my fathers back yard he has a bird house which sits high up on a pole. Squirrels have taken it over for their home. As I was thinking of a reply, I heard a ruckus at the squirrel house. I looked over to see a squirrel carrying a baby squirrel. It jumped to a near by tree and carried it off to some unseen destination for feeding. I began to think again of what to type. Then I heard the sound at the squirrel house again. The squirrel had returned to carry off another baby squirrel. Even now the squirrel has returned to carry off another young.
What is God telling me?
You can only carry one at a time. Some will have to come last, worry about the ones you can carry now. The others will be there when you get the first to the destination.
I love nature.
With Love,
Your Brother

Hello my friend,
I wanted to thank you yesterday fro a wonderful post. I kinda got side tracked though. I had never heard of Greyfriars Bobby. So, I had to research it to find out what it was all about. What a lovely story to include in the discussion of animal souls. It brightened my day to read about the faithful little pooch. I have an American Bulldog named Elvis. He is less than 2 years old but already weighs in at about 90 pounds. I have seen his loyalty tested and know without a doubt he would lay down his life for me. Curiously, I wondered how many would lay down their lives for their faithful pet? I hope if ever faced with the decision, I would show equal fidelity to him as he has shown to me. These are the lessons we are to learn from them, as they learn to live more peacefully with us.
I do love animals. Thank you for bringing them up n the discussion.
With Love,
Your Brother

No matter what anyone says there is nothing thats going to happen in the near future. We wake up everyday seeing and experiencing the same world and garbage over and over in our life. If it has been unchanged for decades, why should it change now. The thread author states that we need to wake up and see the change and love. Its great, fine but its not untold before.
This is not something new. Its been told for years but the truth is- 'Nothing is happening' out there that is going to change our society.
people will take to strange things like being vegetarian and avoiding marriage.
