From my perspective, NONE of them deserve liked
All of them have good values, and all of them have bad values to begin with.
But for sake of fun of answering, liked to least like heres my bid.

A - - - Work on the problem.

E - - - Accept the problem.

D - - - Clueless on the problem.

B - - - Take advantage of the problem.

C - - - the problem in entire story (apart from shipwreck), never try to reach out, bother people to built her something, trade herself to build something, never explain anything happen to D, burden E with herself and her story, worst there is

I still with my perspective - all of them does not deserve "Likes (FB tm)".

1. A, Didn't get caught up in the irrelevant drama with c and d, focused on the most productive goal.
2. B, Thug Life.
3. E, Just a normal guy, can't really fault him.
4. C, just some blonde chick, didn't really care about her either way.
5. D, has a bad taste in women, and got played like a b!*tch.

All were boring though, can't say I'd hang out with any of em'.

there is not enough information here to allow an intelligent person to respond. Infinite number of unknowns could change the perception of intentions and ideals behind the actions of these individuals.

if she wasnt an idiot she could have made her own raft. its relly not that hard.... and if the islands are within the siwmable distance of a plane that crashed between them then it would be NO PROBLEM traversing between them without consecting to sexual favors for a task even a child could complete.

Oo I love games.. lets see..

1. A because he was actually doing something constructive besides dicking around with non-essential bs.

2. E simply because he didn't do anything and still ended up with the girl.

3. B because he's resourceful and while he might not be getting off the island any sooner he knows how to get what he wants eh

4. C though she's a moron (if the island is so close you can see two folks getting it on by moonlight.. SWIM!) and also didn't build a raft herself she decided to sleep with someone for one. Then slept with another guy for food.

5. D because he's a complete douche bag who wasn't doing anything, didn't try to swim, and didn't build a raft, then lost the girl.

E--Gracious; that's all we know about him.
A--Rational; benefitting the collective with his work.
C--Loving; she seems attractively feminine, and I'm a man.
B--Decent; considering he is stranded on an island with only one woman it’s not so bad of him to make a deal for sex with a girl who happened to need someone to build her a raft so she could visit her lover. They both get what they want out of the deal, and at least he followed through with his end of the bargain since there was really nothing stopping him from ignoring the deal.
D--Ignoble; he ditched his girl in a time of crisis and swam to a different island, then he didn’t make the effort to get over to her island to be with her, AND THEN when she does acquire a raft and manages to get to him he scolds her like a self-righteous asshole--as if he had actually sincerely cared about her--before leaving her to fend for herself.

Without looking at any other responses I will give my answer, from least liked to most:

C - She clearly didn't even bother to try to achieve anything for her self, she was completely helpless and ran to everyone else instead. She accepted an obviously stupid deal, perhaps because it was the only thing she really could do "properly", and all she had to offer. This does not mean she gets my sympathy. She is capable if being an independent person able to support her self in such a situation, she would just rather other people did it.

B - This guy probably knew he was taking advantage of the women by suggesting such a deal, and risking the very relationship she was asking him to help save.

D - This guy, the "lover", was quick to cast her off without actually understanding why she did what she did, he had a valid reason perhaps to be angry, but he wasn't very understanding, nor did he try to see that she did it all to reach him.

E - We really don't know much at all about this guy, he took in lady when she was in need, so he can't be all too bad.

A - The guy actually seems to be putting in some effort to get off the island, so A is obviously in my good books.

I liked from Best to Worst:

B - This guy built a raft and convinced a woman who was in love with another man to sleep with him. The guy's got skills. This guy is probably going to save them all.
C - This lady knows how to motivate men. She got a guy to make a frigging raft!! Plus, horny woman are good to have around, even if they may cause rivalry by sleeping around making men jealous.
E - Took the girl in - don't be fooled. He may be playing the nice guy now, but in a few days he's gonna want to get some. After all, he may as well have sex with her because D is going to accuse him of it soon anyways. Then again, he's kind of handy because he knows how to make shelter and gather food.
A - While I'm glad this guy can stay focused on the task at hand, you can't trust him. Why on earth wouldn't he want to build a boat to get those 2 other guys over to their island? Because he wanted the girl for himself and thought that by keeping D away, that would increase his chances of hooking up with C. Anyway, he failed there and I don't hear the radio working still...
D - This guy is jealous little whiner. He saw C sleep with B, but then complains when she STILL decides to come to his island? Who else is he gonna hook up with, E??!? He should be greatful that an obviously horny woman wanted to sleep in his shack. But there he is, alone on an island feeling sorry for himself. Probably going to get jealous that C is shacking up with E now, might even pick a fight.

Hey, somebody has to play the Devil's Advocate here, may as well as be me!

1) C= She slept with a man to get to the one she loved, now that's dedication.

2) A= He was busy doing stuff to get saved.

3) E= Neutral, we really don't know his motive for taking in the newly dumped girl. Maybe he's an opportunist.

4) D= He didn't listen to her reasons. She was stranded with two dudes and wanted to be with him. He should have taken her in, and kicked the crap out of "B".

5) B= Scumbag

Why didn't she just swim? If they could see each other, they couldn't have been that far.

I rank them A, E, C, D and B

A is first, because he is taking the most logical step. Although he refused to help, he did so, only because the result could preserve everyone's lives.

E is second, because he showed compassion towards the woman's circumstances, took her in, and gave her food. This is essentially preserving the woman's life. E would have been first, but unlike A, E is only helping to preserve the life of one individual, and not four.

C is third, because although she is not helping to preserve life, she displays selflessness. She loves D and is willing to do anything to be with him, even if she has to do something she really doesn't want to do.

D is fourth, because he is not helping to preserve any lives at all, and is only concerned with his own predicament. If he had taken the time to understand C's choices, he could then have displayed compassion and taken E's role of preserving life by looking after C.

And finally we have B. B is last, because he takes no steps to help preserve the lives of any individual. He displays no lack of compassion and is only concerned with taking advantage of the situation to benefit himself.

I chose my answers based on the little variables we had to work with. The main thing above all else, is the preservation of life. That is how I came to my conclusion. My answers would definitely change, if there was more information on each individuals ulterior motives.

Pretty cool!

From best to worst:

E. Love: This was the only person in the story who truly appealed to me. I chose "E" first because among all of them, he seemed the most detached and not caught up in the "drama" of the others. I've always placed a high value on detachment, for better or worse. It surprised me at first that this figure is connected to "love," but actually upon thinking it over, the connection between love and detacachment is more profound that it may appear at first. Both love and detachment involve a certain "globality" and total commitment of self. Love is active and detachment is passive but they are both pure.

A. Intelligence: This guy worked on getting the job done, no nonsense. Business is business. I respect that.

C. Sex: It was kind of a toss-up here whether to put C or D ahead of the other...I struggled with this one, but in the end C seemed more...um...alive, maybe? Human? .

D. Morality: Yeahhh...well...um...something about this character was just offputting to me. I know, I know, he has a right to be angry but something about this guy just struck me as kind of "off." Make of that what you will. (Kind of feeling bad about myself now that I know what the characters "represent")

B. Power: This guy was just taking advantage of a woman in need. Bad.

1.C For the fact that all she wanted was to be with the man she loved. It seemed that he was all she needed to be happy!
2.E For the fact that with the knowledge of c cheating on d, he knew that she did it only for her love of d! And he found it in his heart to to take her in knowing that she was hurting and only did it to make herself and d happy!
3.A Because he seems to have everybody's well being as a whole in mind wanting to get the radio working and bring rescue!
4.D I dont like d for the fact that he couldn't find it in his heart to forgive or fully understand that she slept with b so that she could be with him!
5.B For the fact that he was not thinking of anyone but himself!

So what kind of person am I!

Its hard to judge other people, being fictitious makes it a little easier. Here goes...

E – He cared not for C’s past actions and provided more than what he required himself.
A – He was keen to save everyone, but could not care for the emotional state of C.
B – He helped C, but not without benefit to himself.
D – He didn’t care for the effort C had gone through to be with him and chose to respond negatively.
C – She cared for nothing but her own needs and/or desires (even though it was for Love).

1. B. Alpha male. Knew what he wanted and got it. Took less than a day to build a raft that still can be used to get them off the island. You can call him a scoundrel but let's remember, it takes 2 to tango.

2. A. Has ability. Is attempting to fix the radio, but can't multi-task. Is willing to help his fellow people but is slow moving.

3. E. Shows compassion for fellow human being. But there is a problem on this island (D& E's island). They've already segregated themselves, divided up the booty, and seem to live their own life.

4. D. Gimme a break! if the woman is so important to him, he should have built his own raft, or swam over to her. Has segregated himself from his fellow inhabitant. Expects other people to live according to his rules but won't to anything to help bring this about. Loser! Lazy bum!

5. C. Lazy. Build your own damn raft! Willing to go screw on the beach knowing her boyfriend COULD be watching. Manipulative B----. Then turns around and mooches off of E. She is worthless. Feed her to the sharks.

A: He was trying to save all their asses.

The rest I couldn't care less about. They should have been trying to help A out, rather than acting like a bunch of horny high school kids.
