Revealing Self-Test!! (Fun, too.)

I would build the raft for "C" (or the woman) and then I would send her out into the ocean in the opposite dircetion from all of the men....and hope she keeps going. Why? Because like all women, she is the only one causing trouble here......as usual. There wouldn't be any trouble at all if it wasn't for the woman. Hence, send her packing. Guys, this is a valuble lesson for your everyday life as well. Always ask yourself in any situation involving women.......WHO STARTED THIS WHOLE MESS? You'll find you come to the conclusion, it's women, almost all of the time. I would also put a hole in the raft to assure that she drowned, thus, doing my part for huMANity.

E- Helped a damsel in distress.Shared his shelter and food without motive
C- The old romantic in me likes this girl for being prepared to go so far in the pursuit of love.
A- Although not willing to help at the time,this guy would probably be the one who would eventually save them with the radio,hard to warm to him though as he shows a lack of compassion.
D- He was jealous and judged wrongly the love of his life before she had had chance to explain.He also shunned her and was prepared to see her fend for herself in a tricky situation.Very selfish.
B- Also very selfish.Used the womans desperation and his superior skill set to get his wicked way with her.Not as bad as a rapist as consent was given but still morally repugnent.

If you sit back and think long and hard about it,you can make a case for all five in any order depending on the way you look at it and what you value the most in life.Enjoyed the mental excercise.Thanks OP.

1- E He wasn't getting involved, just taking care of himself and another when she came along.
2- B She could have said no, or attempted to build a raft for herself but instead she chose to opt to sleep with him rather than to try it for herself or wait for A. B still built the raft for her, he kept his side of the deal no matter what. He just asked for what any guy might ask for on a desert island, haha. Can he really be faulted for that?
3- A I don't necessarily dislike, however if he thinks he is going to be able to use a flooded radio to save everyone and stay out of everything else then yeah he can go for that. He's my middle guy, didn't really do anything wrong.
4- D Why wasn't he attempting to get to C? Why did he not ask for an explanation?
5- C What in the world, girl?! Yes that's my love but if you build me a raft I'll sleep with you? What the heck, okay understandable if it's a real bargaining tool but in this example the chick really could have just swam over. Not to mention after that she goes in with E instead of taking care of herself, which she should have learned the first time. She basically mooches off him.


But all in all I would rank them all equally bad. They could have started working together from day one to help themselves, A could have gotten C to work with him for the time being in exchange for a raft of something like that, but they all should have been working together.

hey, my teacher once told me the same story

and now, my most-liked to least-liked order

1. A = because he is working to save everyone

2. E= he share some of his food and shelter to C

3. B= he is just offering service with a price, he do not force her. Also, a great opportunist, going to be a good businessman if A managed to repair the radio.

4. D= don't blame him, he is just angry because his lover just slept with someone else.

5. C= Why give yourself to a guy to go across a sea? you can wait for A to finish his work, probably A is a good engineer, so he can fix the radio equipment quickly.

1) C - She was so in love that she would do anything to see the one she loves. Some women cheat but for just about any other reason than for that.

2) D - He was heartbroken. Seeing that shattered his world but he will get over it because he loves her just as much.

3)B - I don't like or dislike this person. He was asked to build a raft for a stranger and simply asked for something in return. Once the downpayment was made, he delivered on his promise.

4) A - He was too busy trying to be the hero for everyone and was so full of himself he didn't give a flying f*** about anyone else.

5) E - He is human. Nobody does something for nothing no matter how much you tell yourself you do. Noble intentions? I doubt it. Preying on vulnerability more likely.

Ok. I didnt read the other peoples comments(I willread them after I post). But here is mine.

E. He was the only one who helped another without thinking of himself.
D. He didn't ask her why she "C" slept with the other. He assumed she just slept with this guy for fun or pleasure not knowing she did it just so she could get to be with him again.
C. She did the worst kind of betrayal imo you can do to a partner, sleep with another. It states she was madly in love with D, so for her to do what she did it was probably a difficult decision and you might have felt she had no choice, however it could come across the wrong way too.
B. He is used her for sex. I don't like anyone who does that so that is why he is at the bottom.
A. He was too busy with his own stuff to help her, he came across as the most selfish.

Here is what I think.. If A, B and C worked together they could have easily made a raft, gone to the other island and all of them could have been together and then worked together to get off using the radio A was trying to fix.

If they would have all worked together they could have got off the island..


I could over analyze this to death....which is what I did but I will only post this for now.

Ok here goes,
1. most liked would be E because he thought enough of himself and the circumstances to not only provide food and shelter for himself but for others as well, which in my mind would be the number one priority. In other words handle what's right in front of you to begin with, then see about other matters such as getting off the island.

2. Would have to be B, sure he's a bit of a capitalist, but he was also a man of his word. He built the raft without hesitation. Thus proving he had integrity and survival skills and would probably come in handy latter on.

3. C would be my next choice. because even though her intentions were completely selfish she was a doer when motivated and well, the only woman there, however her and d could likely change places because after all someone else and to feed her and shelter her

4.A. would be next, he just sounds like a thoughtless sob, but at least he was doing something productive

5. Would be D. Nothing but a lazy self absorbed unforgiving sod who would probably parish on his own anyway

D - was an innocent victim
A- Stood up for himself. Damn woman build your own boat if that's YOUR priority.
B- total criminal, but he came out on top with an awesome bargain - hey why not?
E-Has the kindness to take in the hussy, but a total dick for doing so - she'll cheat again idiot!
C- Self centred lazy control freak.

1. A is number 1 because he was actually doing something productive with his time while stranded on an island.

2. B is number two for taking advantage of an awesome situation, and actually being nice enough to keep his end of the bargain...building the raft, which is also productive.

3. E is number 3 for having shelter and food, but he didn't share with A and B so he kind of sucks.

4. D is ranked as number 4 for being mediocre. If he could see B and C then he could have swam to the other island. putz.

5. C is number 5 for being stranded on an island and only worrying about trying to get to her boyfriend instead of trying to survive. B should have just clubbed her and kept her for himself, if D were watching he would have just sat there and cried anyway.

A - saw the best, most practical solution to the problem and focussed on saving everyone

E - for showing compassion - even if t wasn't deserved

D - no reason except he was the injured party and made the right decision to dump someone who betrayed him.

B - he was an opportunist and a creep but C didn't have to give in to him

C - she should have built the raft herself. If the others saw her at least trying they might have helped. Alternatively, if she saw D making no effort to come to her she could have said - 'sod him'.

I just went and found the key after making my post - uncannily accurate

D - I can sympathise with him and would probably react the same way. I feel sorry for him and I wouldn’t take her back after she slept with another man. I think it’s despicable as well.

A - He was trying to be productive and useful by salvaging materials to build something that could help them be rescued. Building a raft just so she could get to the other island to be with her lover would’ve been counterproductive for the group.

E - He was kind enough to show some compassion and provide some food and shelter. A kind-hearted character.

B - This guy is pretty low in my opinion. A sleazy character who has no morals and is a self-serving jerk. He used C to get what he wanted.

C - She showed no self respect by letting B have his way with her and proved that she has no class. She also strikes me as someone lacking in intelligence because she actually cheated on her lover to be with him which is a stupid thing to do. I’d rather not see my lover than risk hurting their feelings and lose their respect by sleeping with someone else where you‘d probably have no chance of seeing them again after they found out anyway.

OK, so in order....

E - He helped with no conditions, truely unselfish

D - He didnt do anything wrong, just witnessed his supposed love with another man.

A - Was working to get communications up, but was unhelpful to a lady in need...its more the way he refused to help her.

C - Although she wanted nothing more to get to her love and did it the best way she knew how, if she REALLY loved him, she would not have taken B up on his offer.

B - He used C for his own selfish motives...even tho he was up front with it.

A - He was the only person out of the group that was really aware of the situation they in and had his attention focused on things that had to be done to resolve the situation. Sure he was short with the woman but that is a sign of a leader. Priorities first then play.

E - Selfless when it came to the aid of the woman. This guy focused on surviving and his actions showed it by finding food and building a shelter.

B - Although this guy manipulated the womans feelings and bartered a service for a service, he didn't renege when it came to building her the raft.

C - Although she was in love with someone and she did what was necessary to get what she needed to be with someone she thought cared for her, she was only could think of her self when everyone is in a situation that requires a group effort to survive.

D - Least liked. Didn't put any effort to help anyone or even himself and when C showed him how much she wanted to be with him, he rejected her by being judgemental and showed her that he was truly unforgiving.

And he followed through with apparently what he considered a business deal. His word was good, at least, and he made his intentions and character known. He didn't lie, or present himself as anything other than the scum he is.

5. D. Yuck. Can't stand him. lol. Why didn't he build a raft to get to her? How dare he turn her away anyway?

I don't understand your line of thinking. How in the world can D be considered the worst when he didn't do anything wrong? His girl cheated on him and he's the bad guy? Lol amazing.

Plus, building a raft to get to his lover isn't helping the group get rescued. A has the best plan for that.

What would your opinion be if it was the guy who slept with someone to be with his girl?
