Look dude war sucks!...the puppy would probably died of starvation anyway! No excuse for rape! Since you were not on the jury, who knows they could have been set up/or they could be murderous bastards! I myself am not going to jump to conclusions as I have not yet studied the evidence. Yes the war was waged with false pretenses, yes we went there to secure the flow of oil, but its a little harsh to condemn our country and service men as all bad and evil!

This is Russia Today's propaganda!
I would like to see Saddam's mix tape of atrocity's!

Our military is over there fighting for each other point-blank to come home in one piece!

Notice the video don't show schools, water treatment plants, hospitals going up do they? Don't buy into this KGB mind controll...They used a #ing puppy to make you hate your country and its service men...

Please use your own mind and especially don't let Russia Today make it up for you!

it does not matter if they put up schools and hospitals, its like killing someones family and then giving the sole survivor a healty sum of money does it change the fact that they killed your family noo it makes you more angry why let me tell you why because they tried to buy you off, you destroy our country and then kill our people and rape them, but hey you built some stuff im going to forget it come on!!!!

its not about hating your country, it doesnt matter what country what matters is the actions commited by them

the people alive today were the peace nicks of the 60s. the children of vietnam vets. you shoulda seen the military people scrambling to get out of having to go over there after it went from being find bin laden to find saddam, because few of them believed in the cause. we are afterall, a rational people. we were told bin laden blew up the buildings, not saddam. so even people not on conspiracy sites saw this switch to iraq thing as worthy of avoiding altogether, including military members.

This video simply takes a bunch of videos (many of which we have discussed here before) and puts them together into one. A decent amount of the material just showed video or photos of the military not doing anything wrong. They mentioned white phosphorous as if it's use was widespread, where in reality we could list the time periods and the places it was used.

Basically, to sum things up this video is a pile of sensationalism.

They are banking on the fact that the people who will watch this video have never been to Iraq; therefore, they don't know what's going on.

A video like this can be made, which uses a good amount of the videos on the internet that display the military in a negative light. However, on the other hand, they neglect to mention any positive aspects that has come out of the war. They negligent to mention that the reason the US is in Iraq right now, is to maintain security until the Iraqi government is strong enough to stand alone.

However, it was a well made video if you want to tell people a one sided story.

Right now the only thing that matter is that we broke the Iraqi system. Without the system they had in place (the Saddam controlled one), Iraq is a very unstable country.

When the US pulled out of the major cities, there was still people bombing crowded areas. They were not targeting the US soldiers, they were already gone. My point being, when the US leaves that does not mean that the fighting will stop.

The US must stay and help hold a state of order until the Iraqi government can do that by itself.

Words cannot describe how I feel about this and I blame myself for part of their cause for not doing more to help bring justice to the world. But that said, more violence does not help prevent violence. The best way we as a world... is by making our own paths and creating a NEW WORLD ORDER for ourselves and not follow the lies from the billionaires and global elite.

WE as compassionate human people should stand up NOW. We should tear down the legal system of every developed country and re-write a new humane and justified society.

Like the berlin wall we should fight against injustice and tear down the hallmark of most ruling elite of the world. I propose we break down the Washington Monument (Obelisk), the same for the city of London and Vatican obelisks. We should also stand in Unity and burn a noted currency in protest of the financial corrupt system. And we should vet all new politicians based on merit and unbiased experience.

Too much people, have we all been ignorant and blinded by our own governments and the MSM.

Let us start by giving the nations around the world threatened and tyrannised by our own military enforcers hope that we stand next to them in defiance to bring justice and peace to them. Lets us please do something without worrying what the selfish gains are to ourselves unless it is to prevent loss of life, encourage strong bonds of all people around a world. Lets create our OWN NEW WORLD and throw the order away.

Best wishes to all those affected by conflict in the world.

You can 't win against the new world order it is impossible, only an act of god or providence can change things

I'm going to apologize to the Op in advance because I'm about to throw a wrench in the works here. Those of you that are so defensive about this film, those in the Military and those that staunchly support their actions and those of the Commanders that give the orders.

I applaud everyday of the week the desire to wish to give something back to a country "they believe" has given so much to them. It was the very words uttered for my reasoning in joining the armed services. it was the same reasoning used when I volunteered to be stationed in the sandbox - thank God I was not one of the"lucky" ones selected from my squadron.

You think this a film your country doesn't want you to see - well I'm upping the ante. You sit through a film called "Beyond Treason" Its not easy to find. Its on the net, it moves around, but it is available now. I'm not telling you where because I want you to make a concerted effort to find it. I'm doing this because I know some of you will, others of you will not and claim its the same ole story different title, some of you will even claim its a waste of time as if you have actually seen it and perhaps some of you that have seen it will know just where I am going with this.

You sit through that film, as you are now formally challenged to do so and then you come back here and see if you still feel the same way. My bet is - if you possess even a spec of humanity and love for your fellow man and brothers in arms - you will not.

Again, I apologize to the Op.

It took me exactly 2 seconds to find it

And I will not watch the vid in the OP. I'm familiar with the scene of the puppy, and as some of the posters already stated, I cannot easily watch such material. Especially since it's 00:00 (GMT +1).
Sorry, so far my contribution to this thread.

This posting is a little late. The war in Iraq is basically over, U.S. troops aren't operating at the level they were before. The surge worked and violence is way down except for a few maniacs left who still want their 72 virgins. Forces will start leaving the country soon if violence doesn't get out of hand again.

I spent a year in Iraq back in '04/'05 as an American Infantryman. I saw Iraqi corpses that had been doused with gasoline, burned, then shot by other Iraqis. I saw Iraqi detainees who had the tops of their feet broken with hammers, for information, by other Iraqis. I heard of Iraqi translators having sex with eight year old prostitutes. I saw dozens of Iraqis blown to shreds by other Iraqis.

I also saw American soldiers hand out food and medicine, American soldiers secure the first legitimate elections in the country, American military use local contractors (at exorbitant prices) when possible, American soldiers train Iraqis to provide for their own countries security. I saw American soldiers who were young and far from home, try to function under constant mortal danger for months at a time.

Hundreds of thousands of Americans have served morally and honorably in Iraq over the last seven years. A small percentage of them did horrible and evil things and need to face harsh punishment as individuals.

Before you serve morally, I think you need to understand what you are serving. Unfortunately, soldiers don't think - they do what they are told. What is the purpose? Is there really a war on terror? No, it's about economic and resource control. So what happens now, if/when the troops move out. Does the US come in to offer aid, loans, to help rebuild and then eventually use the economic hitman card?

I don't understand what purpose this thread was intended to do. All of the cases in the video are old and has been discussed before on ATS with the same anti-U.S. rhetoric.

I'm pretty sure there are more horrific and cruel things that have been done by the other side just to kill 1 coalition soldier. You all know what I am talking about.

Don't forget that this was and still is a coalition force in both theaters. I know you might want to say that none of the other countries have committed any horrific atrocities.

Well, since the OP obviously dislikes the U.S. and wants to smear its image with old atrocities (In which the accused have been tried and punished) to instigate hate. I will do the same to the other non-U.S. forces there as well.

Mon Feb 22, 2010:
NATO Airstrike kills 21

Tue Feb 16, 2010
Missile that killed Afghan civilians not faulty: NATO
- "A young U.S. Marine Corps officer in charge in the area where the rockets were fired was protecting a number of civilians behind his positions, Carter said."

Fri September 4, 2009
NATO airstrike kills more than 90 in Afghanistan

Needless to say, the other coalition forces there are in fact, committing horrific atrocities. All of the non-U.S. forces are perfect angels, am I right? I would not have brought these articles up if it weren't for people like you.

This post won't matter anyway.

EDIT: This post was not intended to show hatred to the other coalition forces. It was merely intended to show the OP and other people that these horrible acts go both ways and that the U.S. isn't the only force involved in the conflicts. We are all in the same boat, no need to accuse and hate each others military or country of origin.

is it hard to read or you choose not to, anti-us im not im sure most are not eithier, were against the horrible actions commited by not just the US but by all goverments and yes goverments are also at fault for allowing and in some cases ordering these crimes regardless of what country there from it does not matter what matters is that the crimes are being commited not just by the US but by coalitions forces and again its not all of them but those few are the ones that give humans a bad name, and again IT DOES NOT MATTER WHERE THEY ARE FROM!!!! and also those soldiers that dont report these actions are at fault to even if they didnt commit them the point is they knew what was going on and did nothing about

One cannot allow or accept, as a person, the violence on this video against the Iraqi people. If one do accept, one must bare in mind that these soldiers will be back, eventually, to America ... If I was American I would be afraid to have a neighbor with such a background of violence.
