67 year old man beats the hell out of thug on bus

Back then you had young white man beating up old black slaves and thought that was cool.

A black man who whistled at a white woman was lynched.

Here were cheering on a old white man beating up some young black man and we think it's cool.

Then on the other side of the world you have young white men beating up brown people of every age and size and think that's cool.

I hear what you're saying.... I don't disagree and i wasn't talking about you or what you'd said, I just mean the whole thing.
There is no reason for people to start saying "oh it's the black mentality" and so on... the same as how the KKK have nothing to do with the thread, although I understand the reasoning for saying it.

If I am aware of potential trouble ahead I will go the other way.I can't really risk a fight.But there's this thing of people stumbling out of bars on the main street in town.Madison is a drinking town,and sometimes crowded.So you get bumped into often,just something to watch out for.Drunkenness is usually the issue in my experiences.Never me,I just don't drink,I hit stuff for a living I don;t do it alla time.Anyone with martial arts training has a point where you fight.Mine is physical contact beyond a finger touch.I'm watching breath of opponent for telegraph,finger/breath and fight is on and it will be over quick.Unless an arm appears,usually that would be a knife,but lucky none yet for me,then it's kill now.They'll do it again if they can,then,to others is how I've consoled myself at injuries I have inflicted.Rationalization?Asked myself that plenty.I don't sleep well,so maybe that's it.It is a guy thing,too,never fought a drunk female or nearly had to.I'm sure cops do tho,so wrong again,I guess...

We are not seeing the entire incident here. Clearly the white guy was sitting up in front from the beginning, and the black guy walked by as he got on the bus. Once again, you are hearing what you want to hear. The white guy picked the black guy out and asked him to spit-shine his shoes, and the black guy wanted to know why the white guy asked a "brotha" to do it.

Now, let me ask you this... if you walk into a mall with half white and half black people, and you walk up to a black gang-banger looking guy and ask him to spit-shine your shoes, what do you think that will happen? Don't you think it would be natural for him to ask "why don't you ask one of the white guys here to do it?"

There were a lot of people on that bus, and yet this white dude picks the one black gang-banger to shine his shoes... an act that is clearly associated with lowly servility. Then the white guy never lets up, and continues to taunt this guy.

That's the sad truth - racism... and sexism where women fought for equality and now some women expect the cops to always take their side.

This black man and that stupid thieving woman play the victim when they strongly provoked the old man. It's just childish and pathetic, and sadly many people seem to be stupid enough to behave like this, and even sadder that some never seem to learn their lesson.

Sounds alot like JKD, specifically in the watching a breath for a telegraph. I did that in JKD training where you attack when the telegraphing breath occurs so it becomes second nature. You're right on though you have to watch for those early signs before you get stabbed.

A lot of the comments in this thread turned ugly and when I look at this and the comments on the youtube page, I can't help but think Amba Lampz, EBG, and bag thief have inadvertently set us back about 40 years as far as racial progress goes

It's funny because a younger person picked a fight with an old person and got their teeth knocked in... and okay amba lampz had me in stitches too (but to be fair it's not easy to enunciate with a busted mouth)

If a young white skater dude picked a fight with an elderly black man, and the black man defended himself like EBG did.. it would be equally as funnnyyyyyyyyyyyy.

The younger guy took a swing at the wroooong guy.. that's it that's all... it's funny when ANYONE underestimates who they're swinging on! I know you guys out there have seen these instances in real life... someone throws a weak jab, doesn't phase the opponent, and then the attacker is swiftly dropped in one punch and out cold for the next 5 minutes. Usually happens about 3/4th the way through a party when people are completely sloshed. Asshats getting dropped are funny, its okay to laugh!

there was clearly a disagreement but as we don't know what was said before we join the action.... your "we can only surmise he saw another black guy on the street shining shoes" comment is just pure speculation. He could well have walked past the old guy and sarcastically said... "shine your shoes sir"

WHY AREN'T PEOPLE READING THE TRANSCRIPTS!!!!?

The interaction between the 2 started when the younger guy said whatever he said to the old man when he walked past. And if you consider that the younger guy was drunk (according to Iyanna), it probably wasn't "top of the mornin' to ya' my good man!"

And when the shoe shine thing came up... EBG also says "You offered." He didn't pick this out of the air from nowhere and obviously has something to do with what was happening before the footage starts. It could be that the EBG was being a dick (likely) and taking what the younger guy said out of context, or making fun of what he said, exaggerating whatever... But when you read the transcript, it was part of an ongoing conversation... "You offered" didn't come from magical make up things to insert into conversation land. "I didn't offer you crap" is showing that what I'm probably right when I said its likely that EBG was being an immature dick and bending/twisting/manipulating/taking out of context whatever the younger guy said when he got on the bus!

READ THE TRANSCRIPTS AND READ THEM CAREFULLY PEOPLE!

They were both # talkers... but what we know for fact is that the younger guy said something to EBG FIRST, and the younger guy also swung on the EBG FIRST.

1) Neither was acting mature
2) Being immature doesn't give you the go ahead to hit someone
3) If you hit someone, expect them to hit you back

The idea that this old guy went to the back of the bus and picked this guy out to ask him to spit shine his shoes is bullcrap and its on the same level of misinterpretation as all the racist black hating!

It is what it is folks, two immature adults got into it, one won and the other lost.

You are also seeing what you want to see... go and look at my detailed analysis of this and you will clearly see that the white guy provoked this entire thing, and kept provoking until he got the reaction he wanted... he wanted that brotha to give him one single excuse to unleash on him, and he wasn't going to let up until it happened.

Really, read my analysis, where I examine every part of the event, from their looks, to their words, to their actions.

They were both acting a little 'silly', the black guy more so.. I wouldnt say Im glad that he got absolutely ended by what looked like an off-duty santa claus, but its mildly pleasing when someone acts like that and it ends up going completely pear shaped for them.
