Actually I just entered this thread. 2nd of all if you want to go into ratios the numbers involved with the KKK and those involved with the Salem Witch trials (which really are irrelevant since those trials where based on the accusations of a small child which resulted in a "witch hunt" because of religious beliefs.) are not even comparable with the number of black gangs and the count of their individuals.

This however is entirely irrelevant because I am not talking about gangs. I am talking about the militant and anti-white mentality that the majority of the black community shares. The KKK is a vast minority and their views are looked upon with disgust by roughly 90% of the white population.

Majority of blacks, minority of whites. The Mob mentality need not apply.

Well I know a lot of white people who are sorry about it. Remember the Civil War? The majority of Americans had nothing to do with slavery and yet we all are still carrying the burden of it.

I would like to add that I was not raised ever hearing the n word one time. I thought black people were just like white people other than our skin color. Then I became an adult and found out differently. I was so naive. During a couple years when I was a young mother, we had to live in less than luxurious apartments. My kids were called honky every day, imagine little kids using that language, with approval from their parent I might add. My two little boys got spit on a lot, that was "normal" -- then there was the time a black kid was up in a tree, unseen, and peed on my 5 year old son. We moved the next day. Besides, I was sick to death of being hit up every single day to buy these women's food stamps at half value. That would be like taking food from their kids mouths. And in fact there were a few kids that hung around my doorstep because they knew I was always good for a P & B sandwich. But back to the story: I moved and I never looked back. Now you are going to come back and say it could have been a white boy up there, peeing on other kids. Not in that day and time.

Wow this thread really escalated into something. Just want to throw one thing - if the attacker would have been "white" and the old man "black" - I would still applaud the latter. Color has nothing to do with it. I know most of you feel the same way.

Ya it's weird.I've never instigated a fight.I don't bark at dogs either,but know what?People do pick on bigger guys,likely a challenge,I dunno.Dogs always bark at me.It's why I never go to bars,I can't.(and tell the dogs,"Good dog")And assaults always seem unexpected.Like in the vid in question.There's debate about words at the beginning,something about a shoe shine.The audio isn't clear,but the facial expression of the bearded one clearly shows(to me)a civil question at first.The removal of the glasses is also indicative,like he wanted to understand why the cornrow guy was growing hostile.
He seems to have been caught off guard.

The back of the bus was always where the bad boyz youths go,is this true elsewhere?Is that a conspiracy?Is all this tension caused by and promoted by TPTB?

Wimmin ought to try testosterone patches before presuming to speak of these types of things to men,I find it impossible to bridge this understanding gap with words.

Didn't the woman making the film state in her interview with the newsman that she went out with the express purpose of filming something interesting? No wonder she was egging it on. At the end of the video she shouts with delight, I got it! I got it!

Guess she was hoping for her 15 minutes of fame on YouTube. She may have gotten more than she bargained for as she is caught on her own videomaking as being an instigator and an accomplice in the crime; both chargeable offenses. I hope she get a little more out of this incident than being called names on the internet.

After watching the video a couple times I can safely say that the black guy was taunted by the white guy and lured into the situation.

Apparently, when the black guy walked past the white guy he muttered something about spit-shining shoes. One can only surmise that he saw a black guy on the street doing shoes and felt the frustration of always seeing the black man shining the white guy's shoes.

It seems that at this point the white guy got up from his seat in the front and came back to sit with the "black folks." Somehow the conversation went to a topic dealing with "transit" or perhaps the "transit system." This is where we pick up the story...

BG: "transit... how much you can't see transit..."

WG: "Let's get back to business. How much you charge me for a spit-shine?"

BG: "What?" (takes his glasses off because he senses an insult)

WG: (takes off his glasses in response) "How much you charge me to do my Staciano's? I'm going to a funeral on Friday."

BG: "Did you get what I said just now?"

WG: "Yes"

BG: "Why a brother gotta spit-shine ya shoes?"

WG: "You offered"

BG: "I didn't offer you #."

WG: "What'd you just say when you walked by me?"

BG: "I said why a fu**'in brotha gotta spit-shine the shoes? Why a white man can't spit-shine the shoes?"

WG: "Well you don't have to... it could be a China-man... it don't matter..."

BG: "Look dude...look" (puts his glasses back on to signal "I'm done")

WG: "I ain't prejudice... what you think I'm prejudice?"

BG: "Take your ass back up there and get the f*ck out of my face right now." (trying to avoid him)

(clearly the white guy came back and sat down in the back looking to lure the guy into a fight)

So now the white guy sees that the black guy is wanting to drop it. His glasses are on and he's trying to avoid looking at the white guy. The white guy though is clearly looking for a fight, so he continues...

WG: "Why you being so hostile man?"

BG: "'cause... I'm pi**ed off"

WG: "Well you better be... you better be pissed off...

BG: "Take your ass back up there, right now..." (trying to avoid him)

WG: (white guy starts to get up to return to his seat in the front) "cause you ain't scaring this white boy... I'm 67 years old and you ain't scaring me..."

BG: "I'm 50"

WG: "You ain't scaring me... you ain't scaring me..."

And we know where it went from there. Each time the black guy wanted to drop it, the white guy said something else to taunt him. And yes, the black guy committed the first assault (I'll put my foot up your a**) after all this provocation.

Then the white guy moves back to his seat in order to put distance between them, but he continues to tell the guy "you won't do nothing to me." Here the white guy knew that by moving away and continuing to verbally taint the guy, he would get him to react and be the aggressor.

BG: (takes glasses off again) "Say it again... say it again..."

By this time the black guy is baited and hooked. He walks up and gets in the guys face, but it is still only verbal. The black guy walks back to his seat and sits down. Then the white guy yells very clearly:

WG: "When I see tough guys like you I slap the sh*t out of them!"

This is all the black guy can take, and so he goes up and lightly jabs the white guy in the stomach. It isn't clear whether he even made contact. At this point, the white guy pounces up, smashes the black guy in the face and continues to pummel him.

Technically, the black guy committed the battery if indeed he made contact, but it was clearly incited by the white guy, and in no way did the black guy hit the white guy's face... not even close. But later, as the white guy gets off the bus claiming self-defense, he claimed the black guy hit him in the face... pure lies.

If I was a judge, and looked at that tape, I would charge the white guy with "Inciting to Violence" and let the black guy go.

You saw what you wanted to see... the black guy took off his glasses first because he wanted to know why this white guy came to the back of the bus to ask him for a spit-shine... it's amazing how people can filter an event to see what they want to see...

You still don’t get it. I’ve already dumbed things down yet you still want to argue something that has nothing to do with anything I’m saying. One member implied a certain group of people were predisposed to gang or mob behavior. I cited two examples of a group of people from a different ethnicity and culture that showed gang and mob like behavior. Doing this, the claim or implied thought that such behavior is exclusive or that a certain group is predisposed is a fallacy and far from the truth. We are not discussing the number of gangs, where gangs are located, etc. We are discussing the claim that a certain group of people may be predisposed to gang or mob behavior. Why do you not comprehend this? I even told the poster to look into group think and bystander effect, two things that have to do with mob or gang like behavior yet you’re spinning this into something waaaaaaaaaaaaay left field.

True, but black guy just had to be wiser, respect the older man and just stfu. White guy is some Vietnam vet with clearly seen rage issues. But his ego, pride didn't let him do it and he first threw a punch. And we all witnessed how it ended.

He will be wiser net time. I hope he has learned his lesson.

The man in black is Jason Smith, a father who had his wife and 22 month old daughter inside the house at the time. I really admire just how calm he managed to stay considering.
Apparently, this comes after Mr Smith complained to police around 50 times in the year.

The old guy went to the other end of the bus to get away from him. The black guy threw the first punch. He deserved what he got.
