Please keep it dark.

One of the reasons I was attracted to this site is because it is so well designed and easy on my eyes.

Other forums tend to look messy in comparison to ATS. I've always found this one easy to navigate and I think the dark suits the subject matter. Even the humour here tends towards the dark side.

I vote for the lighter background with the darker text. As you stated we have been trained to view text that way and i find it easier to read.

I vote dark.
As that is what I use now, although I have tried light out, I went back to dark.

I wish to stay on the dark side
because they have pie!

Seriously though "Dark Meat" provides less strain on my eyes so I can read for longer periods of time.

Thanks for giving us the chance to give input.

Edited: To add that the "Dark Meat" option also allows the title of the thread to stand out more so. When it is "Light Meat" it washes out the title.

Light. I really can't do the dark. In the past couple days I've basically not been reading threads because it's not comfortable for me.

If it stays dark I might cut back my contributions because of accessibility.

Dark please.

Much easier on the eyes and I wish most internet content was delivered this way.

I work with computers for a living and by the end of the day, I sometimes get a headache from all of the light exposure. The dark format makes a huge difference for me.

Thanks!

I agree - I'm on the computer all day, five-to-six days a week, and the dark format is a welcome release after all that white light.
And thank you for asking.

Dark please. It's easier on my eyes.

And it keeps me from feeling like a vampire exposed to sunlight.
