Like some other folks, I see the dark option as being part of the ATS "signature".

I personally use the dark version, and like it much better than the light option. So, for a unified standard, I would prefer dark.

dark is much easier on the eyes. I went light for about 10 minutes one day and it was hard on my eyes. Not to mention i think the light sort of gives everything a dated look

Dark (at least for me) is easier to read. In the light the black text gets lost in the gray border.

Dark background-White text. It makes the site unique and spooky!

The ideal solution would be allowing people to choose dark vs light but keeping dark as the default.

Prefer dark version too. I use iphone and it helps the eye strain and redness.
BTW, an iphone app is too "under-kill"...fine for The Yellow Pages, but not ATS.

Dark meat! I don't sign on much, but when I do it's for hours at a time. I tried the light version, but dark is SO much easier on my eyes.
