...Cont from Mahajohn response

As anyone who follows UFO conspiracy theories 'knows,' there are all sorts of suggestions that secret projects have existed for decades to research and develop technologies and capabilities mirroring those of so-called ETs.

bigdaddy's response: I don't disagree to an extent, but the phenomena I personally witnessed contradicts EVERYTHING we currently understand about our technology, laws of the universe. Again, if you are willing to believe we know absolutely NOTHING about what our militarys are capable of, then like I said, anything goes...It's an indefensible argument.

There are reasons to believe that these efforts have borne some fruit, and therefore, it's just as likely that the unmistakably UFO-ish things you've seen that you can't attribute to anything but 'unearthly' beings, could very well be the very definition of earthly, man-made, and human-piloted.

bigdaddy's response: Redundant argument...See above response

I will agree that you have a reasonable cause to believe they were aliens, but kind person, you do not have absolute certainty. If you do, then I fear you may be mired in self-delusion.

bigdaddy's response: Hmmm...Well which is it? Either I have reasonable cause to offer up my own conclusion of absolute certainty, which I have already stated, or I am a delusional. You have not inquired about any of the specifics of these sightings, yet you have already judged what I can and cannot conclude from witnessing them. Wait...who's delusional again?

BTW, I totally believe that aliens exist and are visiting Earth, and are one of the best mechanisms through which to explain a history of strange experiences and sightings.

bigdaddy's response: Could have fooled me!

However, I recognize the logical fallacy of stating that I have absolute certainty on the matter. I could be sitting behind the Lincoln Memorial, gazing at the Potomac River, when a thousand foot tall humanoid takes form from the substance of the water itself, opens its mouth and declares “Mahajohn! I am the Lord, your God! Bow down before my power!,” and yet I could not know with absolute certainty that I was really witnessing a divine manifestation.

bigdaddy's response: Good one...that was a literal "LOL" from my end. But really, this goes back to the argument in my first post of the fry/donut example once more...Fifth times the charm?

To the people who believe aliens make these shapes, can I ask if you will acknowledge the possibility that these shapes are ALL man-made or are you 100 percent certain in your belief? Or are you just very sceptical that these are made by man, which...by the way....makes you a sceptic...and there's nothing wrong with that.

I think that it is generally accepted that the CC's have not been proven or disproved to be made by wo/men or aliens. But they do exist and will likly show up again next year. Therefore, I acknowledge the possibility that these shapes are ALL man-made.

Can you acknowledge the opposite? You don't have to acknowledge "aliens", just that "something else" besides people could be creating these mysterious shapes.

Absolutely, there's always the possibility, no matter how tiny. Given the choice, I'd rather believe that something fantastical made these shapes rather than the mundane but despite every bit of so called evidence that people throw up.....there's nothing there that makes me believe. These shapes and the ability to create them are all well within the confines of man's power and man has made much more complexed models and shapes, there are examples everywhere.

I'd also like to know why we don't get 'mud circles' or 'sand circles', might it be because there would be tell-tale foot prints in those conditions?

Yes, it could be possible that "something else" is creating them.
It could be Jesus.
It could be Big Foot.
It could be reptilian shape shifters from underground military bases.

Acknowledging infinite possibilities and accepting them as being based in reality as a cause defined by evidence, are two very different things.

That is why people think Humans are responsible. It is possible that humans create all CC's and when looking at this possibility in relation to the reality of defined evidence we can attribute humans as the cause.
Of course, anything is possible.
But if you need hope on the possibilities as evidence, you must be desperate.

It wasn't that adequate to be honest. Especially the part where you say the burden of proof is on the debunkers, which is so far away from the truth you would need Hubble to see it.

The burden of proof has always, and should always remain, on the shoulders of the claimant. You cannot make a fantastical claim and say it's true just because no one can prove it's not, it just can not work that way and it's a total cop-out to use it in an arguement.

Totally and completely INcorrect.

The claim currently being postulated is that ALL Crop Circles are of human origin.

No such evidence has been presented.

Try again.

The claim you quote is a direct response to the original claim that crop circles are made by something other than humans, all you've done is twist things around and bypassed the fact that whoever makes the claim first has the burden of proof upon them.

That so called evidence is not being ignored. Beilievers just ignore all natural explanations for that evidence.

For example for bent/elongated nodes google tropism.

The debunkers don't need to prove anything. Lack of supporting evidence or explanations is enough to debunk a theory.

And the Oliver's Castle video is a hoax by John Wabe.

Not knowing that this is a hoax shows how little research you've done on the subject.

Buh-bye, now - I hope this will be the last we see of you.

One hoax CC dooms all other Crop Circles? Lol! By all means, continue to hide under the blanket. Yet no one had came forward to claim responsibility for ALL crop circles.

Excuses such as 'a waste of time' is BS. So whenever we dont investigate, it is perfectly ok to claim 'hoax' to all? And to mock other serious investigators who took the effort and time to analyse and to publish findings?

What are we actually missing?

Rather than to fight on the issue of man-made or alien made, why dont we explore THE PURPOSE of crop circle first? Why do they exist?

1. Carl Sagan beamed a message of us ( Arecibo Message ) into the universe back in 1974.

2. We got our wish - replies from other alien species that recieved those signals at the speed of the signal it reached their destination. Yet we refuse to acknowledge the fact that we are NOT alone. Our fears are telling.

Hoaxers abound undeniably. But as mentioned, no human would create crop circles on a lark. They are almost megalithic in planning and execution, not some spray painted graffiti or an artwork on paper canvas.

The repies continues to pour in, as advance civilisations picked up our signals at the speed it reaches them, informing us we are not alone, in the form that our message was sent - viewable messages across the universe that perhaps advance form of radio signals had been missed or fractured.

If we dont reply or continue to hide from the reality of such messages out of fear, coupled with ignorance, soon probe ships will arrive to investigate our silence, if those closer or with more advance propulsion systems are not already here on Earth

As for man-made technology. I've read the works of W.A Harbinson on his Project Saucer series. Good read, due to its blending of history and science facts to expain the hypothesis that what we saw in the air is man-made. However, upon deeper analysis on just 2 aspect alone among many others, that hypothesis may not hold true because:-

1. The sheer volume of credible witnesses sightings of different alien species and crafts, unlike his hypothesis that there is only one kind of man made alien and craft. One person may lie, but hundreds of thousands? Very unlikely.

2. The Drake equation - there can be absolutely no way we are alone.

I believe it is time to create greater awareness, unite and join organisations to promote such awareness, and seek greater ACCOUNTABILITY by our govts for this phenomena instead of sweeping it under the blanket out of fear and making mockery out of sane citizens. Fear is a trait we humans had never allowed to creep into our consciousness.

Hello SeekerofTruth (love the name!)

I just wanted to reply letting you know how much I agree with basically everything you said! I believe the same thing, and that the complexity and frequency of the messages is increasing based on our current evolution and understanding.

The formations started out simple, as a way to introduce these messages to humankind slowly, and without causing too much alarm. We have gradually grown more and more used to the phenomena, and as such, the messages have grown more intricate and meaningful. Could you imagine the panic it would have caused if they started out with the complex designs we are witnessing now, in the very beginning? People would have been hysterical over them.

Now we are seeing messages which carry unbelievable patterns with sacred geometry and even embedded messages in binary code. The population who has already made up their mind that these are all "man-made" have succeeded in putting on the blinders; so that they will not realize what is really taking place right before their eyes. However, if one was to really study the details of the circles which have been scientifically proven to have undergone structural changes, including changes to the crops at a cellular level, they would come to the realization that these cannot be faked.

I have 4 crop circles on my webpage that could NOT be made by
2 guys, a rope and a 2X 4 wooden board in the middle of the night.
I don't think they could be made during a bright sunny day!

Extreeeemly skeptical they are made by man. If it was a life or death question and I had to guess right???? I would hesitate a long time... and pray I was right, but I would decide on the side of aliens. It is a good question when you put it like that.

Yes, those are four of my favorites, and prime examples of crop circles that are simply beyond human creation, given the complexity, measurements, accuracy, and time involved to complete such a task.

The binary code and "response" patterns are my all time favorites. I have yet to hear an explanation on how that could have been hoaxed!

Look guys, crop circles, agriglyphs...etc, are man-made, especially the ones in England, because it is a nice cottage industry for the area, it brings in the tourists year round.
As for the size of these things precluding man's ability...an artist in Nevada has just drawn a very elaborate pattern 3 miles wide in the desert. A thousand foot crop circle is nothing.

ok how long did it take for him to make this 3 mile wide pattern?
how long did it take him to complete let's say..... ohhh.... 1/8th of the entire pattern??
how many helpers? what tools??

You are right. Compared to a 3 mile wide pattern, 1000 ft is a joke....
But take into consideration that these crop circles pop up almost instantly, and at the longest time span, over night (a couple hours.)

No one is saying these "patterns" can't be made... it's the HOW LONG and HOW it was done that is the mind boggling question.

Go make a 40 mile wide pattern for all I care.... but can he make a 1,000 foot pattern over night, and without letting ANYBODY see him do it??? Didn't think so sonny

Nope - still here.

Reading comprehension is a mother, ain't it?!

ALL crop circles must be shown to be fake.

One more time for the cheap seats: UNTIL EVERY CROP CIRCLE IS PROVEN TO BE A HOAX or a FAKE, your argument holds no weight.

Fine - I'm on vacation in Vegas, no YouTube - I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on Oliver's Castle (still not buying it) - hell, they still try to pass 9/11 off as a terrorist attack, so please... forgive me if I don't buy that 'evidence'.

Now, for your next task: prove the alien MSG (you know the one) is a fake. Buh-bye, now.

AAAAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA

[gasp for air]

BWAAAHahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Omg. Omg. Omg. Omg. Can't breathe.

BWAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

THAT's the evidence that Oliver's Castle is a fake? That's it? That's all you got?!

BWAAAAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA

Keep trying dude.

(I couldn't stand it, so I went to the business center of the Flamingo to view for myself -best $ I ever spent)

I had no idea how right I was. It's morons like that guy that support the 9/11 commission report. He was ABLE to show how it COULD have been faked (and an extremely flimsy attempt at that) - NOT the same as PROOF. Not even close. Not even the same ballpark. Hell, not even the same SPORT.

Keep reaching.

(still awaiting the alien MSG)

Let me explain something, for the simple-minded: proof of a Hoax requires actual evidence of the hoax being perpetrated, not 'plausible explanation'.

Man, I'm outta breath - thanks for the early morning entertainment, buddy.

I look forward to your next installement of humor - keep it coming, brutha.
