Threatening to "out" someone's real name is an extremely severe terms and conditions violation).

If you have a problem with someone outing someone's real name, then you should direct your ire at faulcon. Because that is exactly what she did to kathryn on PMH. Faulcon posted kathryn's real name, photo and other personal information for all to see. All done to ridicule and belittle her in public. And this was done after they banned kathryn, giving her no ability to respond.

After you have trashed faulcon for what she really did, then you will have some sort of moral standing to say something about only a supposed threat.

The "your" was meant as all pidders. And dakudo did post the manipulated videos along with the originals to show how they had been tampered with. He also showed the stretched photo used by faulcon along with the original to show how it had been tampered with. This is something that you have consistently failed to do after accusing him of doctoring photos.

Faulcon made a valid point here, that above photo is very suspect. Look at where the hairline meets his face (top photo), it's completely out of sync. We've been through this before about photos which have been manipulated and that's how most people are fooled into believing it's the same man all the way through.

From the beginning I've always advocated examining the old interview footage from the sixties close to when the change occurred. That's the great advantage of having the net today, we can go back and look at the old film (and of course even film can be "remastered" and the images subtly altered).



Examine the eyebrows and hair in the older footage and compare to the remastered. Note also how Faul/Bill has changed from frail/gaunt in the old to fuller, more rounded (more Paulike) in the new footage.


Stills can and have been manipulated since photography first came about, Stalinist Russia comes to mind especially.

If it wasn't for being able to view the old footage be it interviews, music and the old Beatles films very few people would ever know about the McCartney switch. The books delve more into album clues and the story itself - "The Walrus Was Paul" won't convince anyone on it's own merit and "Turn Me on Deadman" was written by a Beatles insider A.J Reeve to cover the cracks.

That's due to poor video compression.

Video Compression is a necessary function of Recording Video and TV signals onto a Computer Hard Drive. Because raw Video footage requires lots of space, without Video Compression, Video files would quickly eat up gigabytes of hard drive space, which would result in only short amounts of Video or TV recorded onto the Computers Hard Drive. With Video Compression, smaller Video files can be stored on your PCs Hard Drive, resulting in much more space for Video files. In other words, Video Compression lets you store much more TV and Video on your Computer than if the Video files were not compressed.

The different Video Compression formats

So, the reason why the "older version" shows 'Faul' as "frail/gaunt" is because the video has been distorted due to poor video compression.

It's not a hard concept to grasp that a very bad quality recording will give distorted looking images.

You've only got to compare the gaps in the door and the black square on the right to see this.

In Uncle Benny's "older footage" they are wavy, crooked and distorted:



I don't know about the gaps between Uncle Benny's doors, but mine are straight!

The fact that the gaps are all crooked and their shape is distorted proves that this film is of very poor quality and doesn't give a true reflection of the images being displayed.

If the gaps between the doors are distorted, then so will 'Faul's' facial features!

Now let's look at Uncle Benny's "remastered" version:

Uncle Benny's "older footage" shows Paul pre PID has a thinner, longer appearance. While the "remastered" version shows pre PID Paul is the chubbier, healthier looking individual.

And notice the poor quality of the album lettering in Uncle Benny's "older footage". All thin, wavy, crooked and distorted.

Then compare with the straighter lettering in Uncle Benny's "remastered" version.



The "remastered" version shows the album lettering exactly as it really looks. The "older footage" shows a distorted version of the lettering: Long, wavy and thin.

Which proves:

The "remastered" version shows 'Faul' exactly as he really looks. The "older footage" shows a distorted version of 'Faul: Long, wavy and thin/gaunt.

Boy, an eight year old could see all this.
