I "know" nothing. And neither do you.

try mesuring the quainty of the dosage you are giving to your patent without maths..

I think you are missing my point here..

Everything thing we "understand" is based on numeric's when dealing with science or life sciences

i really do not understand what your argument in fact is?

The point i am making is that we are NOT ment to know EVERYTHINNG or we would already...

That is why you are born and then you die? what is the most important part?

the bit in the middle called living

; )

simple is it not?

Then as far as we are concerned at this juncture nothing is for certain.

I agree *obviously*. But most of us fear thinking we don't "know" something "There could be something dangerous we don't know!" which is understandable given the thought that most likely we were at one point a prey animal *it fits if you think about it*. So a great deal of us make great illusionary and delusionary walls of words and limited perception to make it appear to ourselves we "know".

Sure, in the philosopher's sense we never "know" anything, but that's because contemporary philosophers have taken that term and added to it assumptions it never had before. In the everyday sense of the word "know" I know all sorts of things! I know that there is a keyboard under my fingers, and I know that I have to go use the restroom right now. If you don't think you've ever known the latter of your own restroom needs, I'm sure you've made quite a few messes.

Yes, even a philosopher isnt stupid enough to walk out into trafic. If there wasnt a large body of "known" we would not even be here right now. And knowlege is power because its real. Knowlege is reality. We all operate from a large body of known truth everyday. This doesnt mean we know it all but we are not devoid of operational knowlege.

And today's commonly accepted "truths" or "knowledge" often become tomorrow's quant beliefs.

And nothing is written in the book, reality is made by you
And every lie that you pursue, eventually turns true
And I was told that your eyes would shine, a light up into space
And infinity would then consume this ordinary place
You know nothing, you know nothing at all
How could you know, you'll never know anything at all
You'll never know, you'll never know anything at all
You know nothing, you know nothing at all
I saw you standing in the fire, beneath a crimson moon
The ocean whispered on the sore, and echoed in the ruins
Inside your body is a clear blue light, and time was made from this
Your shadows swallow everything it feels. You punish us with bliss
You know nothing, you know nothing at all
How could you know, you'll never know anything at all
You'll never know, you'll never know anything at all
You know nothing, you know nothing at all

Yes I understand this but walking out in front of a truck has always been walking out in front of a truck. Unless someone makes a device that can alter our molecular structure so we can pass through solid objects but even that will be working with the known. They didnt go to the moon using abstract philosophical wisdom and knowlege. At some point enough known truth can be brought together to demonstrate a reality, to demonstrate a relationship between things, to demonstrate that discovery simply adds a new layer on the body of the known. The unknown is established even if unknown by man as some are saying here but it is not an abstraction.

You know cults and brainwashers use this line of thought to help empty the subjects brain and then strangly refill it with control handles. A new knowing, a new reality. They tell you what you know is only an assumption or bad teaching whatever.

Not that there isnt a time to dump bad ideas and the like but be sure your are replacing it with truth and knowlege not a bunch of crap....of you will be shaving youer head and beating a tamborine at the air port.

You are right, but it's not just cults and brainwashers. Everyone trying to bring someone over to their way of thinking. Case in point, the whole evolution versus creation in schools in debate is not about the issues they claim. It's about indoctrination of the young and who gets to do it.

Hello Watcher-In-The-Shadows-

To say that we know nothing is a very negative statement. I posted something I wrote today about our biggest negatives. Maybe you might like to read it if not that is ok. I hope you have a positive day.
