You contradicted yourself. Then attempted to cover it up with a comment about the universe containing many contradictions. If you cannot see this. You "know" nothing worth learning. It's really as simple as that. To put it bluntly.

If you had meant otherwise you would have clarified or at least ammended. You did not.

I disagree with you regarding most of what you say. You love argument. I find argument irrelevant. We are at two different places on our journey. We see different vista. Meh. Enlightenment. It has become the equivilent of the "Grace" of ages past. I don't seek enlightenment. Only to understand. Which also means understanding my limits and not ignoring them.

The well-known, paradoxical translation of οἶδα οὐκ εἰδώς, oída ouk eidós misses the point of the statement. It literally means "I know as a non knowing" or "I know that I don't know". The phrase "I know that I know nothing" would be translated into Ancient Greek as "οἶδα οὐδὲν εἰδώς" (oída oudén eidós Greek pronunciation: /ɔída oudén eidɔ́ːs/).

The impreciseness of the English translation stems from the fact that the author is not saying that he does not know anything but means instead that one cannot know anything with absolute certainty but can feel confident about certain things; it could perhaps better be rendered "I know, through not knowing."
