Rumsfeld did not describe the photos, but U.S. military officials told NBC News that the unreleased images showed U.S. soldiers severely beating an Iraqi prisoner nearly to death, having sex with a female Iraqi female prisoner and “acting inappropriately with a dead body.” The officials said there was also a videotape, apparently shot by U.S. personnel, showing Iraqi guards raping young boys.

I remember hearing about these allegations in 2004, it was reported by only one MSM news source... After some googling I found the original story here.. (2004)
www.msnbc.msn.com...
Aparently that original report has been edited... This was removed:

You can find the above quote here:

And other sources quoting that same MSNBC report all over the net, all posted in 2004.
Why did MSNBC edit that old report?
I agree with other posts images or video should never go public but the truth needs to be fully revealed... And if orders were given to do these horrible acts all involved should be hung in public at a minimum.

Who is more gullible? ATS members automatically believing US Troops would do this OR....Seymour Hersch who was once called "The most gullible investigative journalist I have ever encountered" by a former JFK official, and a man who has made his career bashing the United States, even offering to defend Sadamm Hussein himself.
en.wikipedia.org...
Anyway I'm giving our soldiers the benefit of the doubt, before I consider believing this self-serving America hating "investigative journalist".

If this crap comes out to be true there had better be the biggest revolution this world has ever seen. I for one am a young mother of three but I will gladly strap on the big guns and reek H3ll.
We can not and will not let children or anyone be treated in this way.. If our american soldiers want to act in this way then they die...and any government who defends them...

Proven to be lies and photos from porno sites back in 2004.
Seymour Hersh is a proven liar and actually has admitted as much in the past just look him up on Wiki and follow the links given.
Seymour (Sy) Myron Hersh (born April 8, 1937) is a United States Pulitzer Prize winning investigative journalist and author based in Washington, D.C. He is a regular contributor to The New Yorker magazine on military and security matters.
His work first gained worldwide recognition in 1969 for exposing the My Lai Massacre and its cover-up during the Vietnam War, for which he received the 1970 Pulitzer Prize for International Reporting. His 2004 reports on the US military's mistreatment of detainees at Abu Ghraib prison gained much attention.
Hersh received the 2004 George Polk Award for Magazine Reporting given annually by Long Island University to honor contributions to journalistic integrity and investigative reporting. This was his fifth George Polk Award, the first one being a Special Award given to him in 1969.
In 2006 he reported on the US military's plans for Iran, which allegedly called for the use of nuclear weapons against that country. In 2008 he reported on US covert action plans against Iran.

I don't know about you, but I certainly don't want to see those pictures. I think keeping the video or pictures locked up IS the right thing to do. Should the INFO be out? ABSOLUTELY, but there is no reason to release footage like that to the public. IMO, it only exploits those children further.

In case you lot haven't figured it out there is still the problem of a Taleban revolution in a nuclear armed country.

I have never supported Bush's invasion of Iraq. It was wrong. The torture camps and rendition were wrong too, but what do you people want ?
You've made your point.... You have a president committed to getting out of this mess and the world commends USA for making the right decision in electing Obama.
Now get off this man's back and let him do the job he was elected for.
