Well, sorry you had to demean yourself, and dimninish yourself by using a person's screenname as a pejorative. I, will of course, refrain from any number of ideas i could come up with, regarding yours....

As to, the 'first phone call'.....YOU said, his first phone call after being 'elected'.....that happened in November, 2008.

AS President, AFTER being sworn in....and NOT his 'first' phone call, as you allege.....his JOB is to try to diffuse the situation in the Muslim World.

Don't know, don't care, WHERE you get your inflammatory baloney info.....but, THERE are about sixteen pots boiling on the stove, right now.

When I cook, and a pot is boiling over, my first instinct is to reduce the heat. IF the knob breaks off, then I try to fiind someone else who might be able to fix it.

Our prior Prez.....well, he just kept calling in the 'Maytag Repairman', closed his eyes, and hoped it worked!!!!

Being a President is a little like being a pilot. (Or a CEO....similar in certain ways...)

A President is like the Captain of the airplane. If he makes a mistake, the 'management' (which, at first blush is the Congress, as representative of Americans) should say something, of course.

A CEO has a Board of Representives from the Corporation, to answer to....so, the CEO has to 'captain' the 'ship' of industy.

Same concept....'any failure'....will propagate up.....UNLESS.....it can be shown that there was a singular failure by someone in the crew.

BUT, and here's the point....a Captain, or a CEO, or a President, relies on his crew. IF the crew fails....well, the Captain, the CEO, and, indeed, the President should take full responsibility.


EDIT...to add an analogy....suppose you were an airline Captain who, because the previous Captain died, and you were riding in the back, on Holiday, were forced to help a situation where, in your four-engine airplane, one engine had quit, one was on fire, and the other two were prodicing only partial power. Further, since you've been riding in the cabin, you were partially aware of the severity of the emergency.

NOW!!! You're in charge, and will take over to address the worst situations first, to stabilize the airplane.

That is sorta what Obama is facing, right now!

I didn't care for Bush's tactics either. I don't think he won the election fairly but his opponent conceded rather than fight it. Not a lot anyone can do about that. It doesn't even matter to me which sock puppet takes the office of president as there isn't a dime's worth of difference between them and hasn't been for over 100 years.

What I do care about is that our constitution is being trashed on a grand scale. Obama, if a lawful president, can change things all he wants and I'll be fine with that but not if he's changing the constitution. Since he started right out ignoring it by refusing to prove his eligibility to BE president, I don't have high hopes he'll pay any attention to the rest of it.

Oh, and one last thing about your deeply offensive remark implying I'm a racist: if every black person in this country voted for Obama (and I personally know several who didn't vote at all), Obama still would not have been elected if the whites had not gotten out and voted for him as well.

Being white (or in my case, somewhat white) does not equate to being a racist. And in case you lack the education to know, it's spelled OKLAHOMA, not Ok-e-le-homm-la.

while i admire this soldier for making the statement, if he thinks this will go anywhere he doesn't understand what he signed up for. You give up rights that a normal US citizens has when you become a soldier, you are essentially part government property, that is part of the sacrifice. I know from experience there are thousands of soldiers that outrank this guy who are far more dangerous and or stupid than Obama, those are the people he needs to worry about.

As for the OP, this soldier has every right to criticize and critique any orders from a CiC that credentials haven't been proven. If more soldiers had this mindset, maybe the holocaust wouldn't have occurred. Maybe the Tienanmen Square catastrophes wouldn't have occurred. This soldier is using their God given right to free will and excellent ethics to do exactly what they swore to do. Protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

Back to the original post....I believe the soldier has the right and standing to ask for what quite frankly a scary amount of citizens are asking for..a sane, logical demonstration by any of our Judicial or Legislative SERVENTS of Obama's constitutional validity. Doesn't "a government of the people, for the people, by the people" mean that these people that work in the Executive, Judicial and Legislative branches of the government are us....our peers....equal to us...paid by us...elected by us...there to address our concerns...etc,etc,etc? Why do I feel like a helpless pauper trembling under the shadow of untouchable royalty-a monster we created? Of course people are getting weirded out. Isn't it clear something is f*cked up here in the most dire way? Obama has wasted no time in a post inauguration full tilt assault on fundamental constitutional rights. He is already copying Hoover's disastrous big government solutions to the depression we're falling into (which was caused by the same government). Shouldn't the president know basic history and economics? My spidey senses are tingling. Unless Obama and the rest of the policy making politicians are complete utter retards (no offense to my special spirits) they must be purposefully tryng to destroy whatever is this country, and replace it with God only knows....Fill in your own nightmare here.... In conclusion I reiterate- that soldier has the right to validity as do we all. Because, the CIC is there, of course.....but pfc Chance Phelps was killed in 2004.....the movie is about him and the Marine who neverfknew him, who volunteers to be the Special Escort to accompany his remains, to his Family.

So.....we had GWB, never really served in the Military, WJC, not so much either....but.....GWB's father, who DID serve!!! Of course, the saint, Ronald Reagan.....he didn't serve....except, from 1937 to 1945....except, although he enlisted, according to Wiki...he was nearsighted, and spent his years in Service at desk jobs....

GWB....AWOL most of the time.....his celebrity, and influence from his Family.....cut him a lot of slack.....

Clinton....nah, he didn't go into the Military either.....but what defines a leader is knowing when to surround yourself wiht those that know, and have experienced more than you...and knowing how to listen.

Admit....Obama....no military experience....but, we had virtually the same thing with GWB, and WJC, before him.....which one of those last two Presidents helped the Economy?? Which one of those last two Presidents bothered to form their OWN 'Cabinets', and not listen to their 'Daddy's' ideas????

Are you unaware of the Oath a solder takes to the Citizen and the Constitution to protect from enemies foreign and domestic? I can not wait until solders are asked to defy this oath when Martial law(Illegal Order) comes.

This further proves the ignorance of Obama opponents here regarding this birth certificate conspiracy. They are willing to believe an unauthenticated random audio tape of somebody claiming to be Obamas relation and even at that Barack Obamas father is also named Barack Obama.

Also heres another revelation, according to the lady who identified herself in the audio tape, that was not Obamas grandmother or blood relation, on Obamas family tree "sarah" is Obamas fathers step mother whom was not the same individual as the grandmother introduced before. So even from that information itself its flawed... seriously listen to the tape and actually reference it here

In anycase these folks are willing to believe what some audio tape of individuals claiming to be Obamas relatives, unauthenticated, as opposed to the confirmed birth certification and natural born status from the state government, health officials etc. It just shows the logic of this whole thing. Folks desperate to believe this garbage.

I listened to the guy on the radio station on this audio tape, pathetic, he was acting all religious and rightous, stating that "i want to come pray with you if you admit obama was born there"... its one thing to spread these lies and propaganda around, its another thing to profess god himself in this. Conservatives really think that they are the only "true christians" and everybody else is godless... it just unbelievable... Just some political stunt, not true christianity.
