I don't think this is as bad as "JFK: Reloaded" I felt physically ill after playing that game and iv played pretty much every kind of game there is, sex games.. extreme violence games etc.. never felt anything like I did after playing jfk reloaded..

Assuming rape doesn't involve "rough sex" IS a limited perspective! It depends on who's perspective you view it from doesn't it? Rapist, victim or 3rd party and in the context of the game in question it DOES play a role and has nothing to do with passiveness or reoffending relatives.

But in your earlier post it redeemed the novel or movie.

You claim that it's okay to use as a device to illustrate the perversion of people, and yet, even if, in the end the person gets what they deserve it's not acceptable for a game.

One can create a fantasy scenario in their own mind, even write a story or movie in which it happens, but god forbid it be an interactive game, that would just be wrong.

I don't think I'd have the stomach enough to play the game. Sorry if that indicates ignorance to the subject matter, but I just wouldn't be able to play through even one minute of it.

Thinking about it though, isn't it odd that we can so easily play games which have you murder people and not give it a second thought... but we get ill at the thought of a game about rape?

I suppose that's human nature though.
Human nature has allot to do with violence and destruction... however, few have it in their nature to torture sexually.


What do you think of this though?

My husband, who is in his forties, is a melonpopper. He pops'em all the time. Loves it. He can play his first person shooter games 24/7 if I let him, I see him beating up ho's with both his fists and with a bat, he gets cheat codes to do special little deviant things to the characters in his games. He expecially loves to play war games, strategy and really bloody and deadly battes, he is quite good at it, I tell him one day he will finish one of them and some super secret statement is gonna pop up telling him that he is to come serve with an elite force because of his melon popping abilities. But he does not get off the game and want to shoot people, or beat them with bats, no real thoughts of shooting people in the head, or smacking ho's. It is a game. But, even he thinks the idea of a rape game is sick.
