Oh I see... So making games where they portray violence (including murder) and all sort of criminal activity like in Grant Theft Auto is OK but raping women is a no no. Either we allow violent games be sold without being picky on what is and isn't or we don't allow them at all. Lets not be hypocrites. In fact I think murder that is portrayed in so many games and movies of today is much worse then rape. Not only that but some of the twisted fantasies keeps away certain people acting up on their raping fantasies in a real world.

So murdering virtual people and stealing their belongings doesn't give you a big enough thrill anymore? You have to rape virtual women to complete your trifecta of evil. I agree that GTA should be outlawed. I have seen what it does to kids. Making them into wanna be gangsters who wear their clothes funny and cannot relate to society in a productive and non threatening manner. It makes them shun productive jobs to live the "GANGSTA" lifestyle.

So that is what makes it right and proper? If your house was burning down for fifteen minutes would you just ignore it and let it burn because it was already on fire previous to your finding it? Italian and Russian "GANGSTERS" are just as bad as ghetto "GANGSTAS". There is no difference in my book between them. They are all against the law and morally wrong.

I think 'Mynaeris' is a troll or someone who does not understand English but can type it somehow. We're not talking about rape, this is not rape, it is a game, it is not real. You can be offended but trying to get this game banned or killing the makers is going against freedom. Another example of going against freedom is saying that I hate bras and it should be banned, -that statement isn't right because it's an opinion I shouldn't force on people because that's just taking away freedom.

LOL GTA does NOT do that, infact GTA is a pretty funny game, a sort of parody of gangsters, it makes fun of them, and they also bring up a lot of things this site ATS brings up, a lot of clever hidden messages and parodies of many western topics.

These gangster wannabes are more affected by gangster rap and kids having to fit in or get picked on, the atmosphere around poorer areas does not help too.

So the game will not play in a console when a non adult is at the controls? You are obviously a young person. As you age you will find out that what you see teaches you a little, but what you DO teaches you much more. That is why a simulation is used to train pilots instead of just a movie.

Some of us who are female find it a lot less amusing. I have never been raped myself, but I know people who have, and it just ruined them. They arent even the same people. Rape isnt funny, and the fact that violence against women is generally thought of as more ok than racial violence annoys me no end.

I dont care about the sex aspect of it. I could care less if they made a virtual whorehouse where people went for consensual sex. Its not about sex. Its about not perpetrating longstanding cultural injustices through the guise of "entertainment."

The game has been around since 2006 atleast this is just the newest version 5.0 and has a nudity patch built into it. So getting upset now about the content is a little late getting mad about the life like look would be acceptible. I haven't seen the game but I do beleive its cartoon style hentai game and the Japanese have been making them with this kind of content since the early 90's.
