School children complain of "Obama Worship" during lessons!

Assuming the OP is true, I would be raising hell with the school district over that bs. I would not allow my child to be in that class while they did that either. I have nothing wrong with the pledge of allegiance, nothing at all, but they are pledging to Obama and not the flag and the united states of america. Bassackwards.

i find that a bit harsh. He is just so hyped about that he will be the greatest president ever just because he is of a different skin color. Skin color does not define how well you can govern a nation. Maybe he will be the greatest president ever, I have no idea. most people are REALLY optimistic about Obama which is good but I hope they don't go on a rampage if he lets us down (IF not WHEN).

I mean what I wrote. This is a fake story by the losers in the last election to sow seeds of discord in the minds of the gullible and paranoid populace.
Before Obama took office he was being written off as a "no change" president because he chose qualified professionals to be in his Cabinet. Then stories circulated how "white males" will be disfranchised and all kinds of other stupidity. Now Obama is the anti-christ, the deceiver. I am an atheist, I do not worship Obama or any so-called saviour. But give the man a chance. The whole world wants him to succeed and to reverse the insane course that the previous administration undertook. It is my firm belief that if there indeed was a Jesus and he did return, he would be crucified all over again because people would think that he is too good to be true. People just can't believe that they deserve better leadership than they have had in the past. These hoaxters are the real cynics that just can't seem to let go of failure.

If I see a parade or rally that has people carrying huge images of Obama I will then be certain that this country is in trouble. Only a communist or socialist system does this kind of idolatry. If you see this kind of behavior in the U.S. it will be a sure sign we are going down the toilet.

Obama executed one of the most astounding wins in American history. The man's very name was enough to guarantee his loss, yet what he accomplished is of utmost historical importance. He has established a new paradigm in presidential elections. That's what he has accomplished so far. History is staring us in the face and we refuse to look at it and recognize it for what it is.

A true North American Indian understands that we are all brothers and sisters. There is no reason to "rise up" and continue the cycle of revenge. This election is "historic" only in the eyes of people who still see color. His policies suck, at least I don't agree with them. You have a lot to learn, not me.

Another comment. You saying "rising up and ruling the very country that enslaved them" really frustrates me. Every nation has a history. Every peoples have a history. Life is all about making the best of a situation and adapting to it; this is my "progressive" side talking. My "conservative" and "traditional" side misses the good things about the old ways, but I don't miss the bad things. I enjoy air conditioning, shooting game with a gun instead of a bow or spear, LCD-TV and computers. Us American Indians have no choice. This is and always will be our home. Blacks can go back to Africa or wherever they came from because they have the freedom now to do so. How many have gone? Do you know why? Maybe they enjoy what they have in this country now! You should too and quit living in the past with the hatred that comes with it.

I usually fight with you but I really got a good understanding of where your coming from, with respect.

I might not be kind in the future but this is the now.

Anyone who believes this is true, needs help because they are paranoid which is not a good thing; in fact, it is a bad thing. The definition of paranoia is:

There is a major difference here, man. I know that you can see it too. This is strange, indeed, but its not just this. Its everything you hear about Obama supporters. There are truely so many people that literally worship this guy call him the savior. People get instantly angry when you say the slightest thing negitive about him. Presidents dont get that kind of attention, Dictators do.

If all this isnt bad enough......anyone here have kids? I do. And as a result, I watch cartoon channels, like nick. There have been MANY cartoon channels in the last few weeks, that during the commercial breaks are showing clips of the imauguration, and then show other kids repeatedly saying OBAMA! OBAMA! And then talking some basic propaganda!! UNBELIEVEABLE!! These are kids for S**Ts sake! This all seems a bit like brain washing to me.

And nobody seems to care, or pay attention......

I am surprised.
I started grade school in 72 and I remember the pledge (to the republic for which it stands) up until 8th grade. Since that period of time anything I've heard about the pledge was negative and anti pledge.
If I remember correctly, the left wing political side of this issue pushed the rights of the people to burn,trample on and deface the flag. The actual act of doing the pledge has long been on the liberal hit list to the best of my understanding and has been eradicated from a very large percentage of classrooms.
Here we are 3 decades later and the same agenda that spent a great deal of time removing the pledge from most public schools seems to have ressurected it but only with the addition of Obama as figurehead. I know there are exceptions to this but we've heard plenty about the great Revival of American Patriotism in the form of Obama as the great leader, savior, uniter, or whatever it is in the news today.

What concerns me is the fact that the explicitly anti-traditional-American agenda suddenly has embraced all of those old images and methods, but centered around a single person. Most of these expressions of patriotism were eroded nearly to the point of nonexistence when it was about an entire nation, but now the same agenda embraces it as if the last 30 years of liberal effort never happened.

It strikes me as hypocrisy on a grand scale.
