My daughter does not feel Obama is a god or messiah or whatever repubs keep claiming. She feels he is.....wait for it.....wait.....this will be a very shocking admission........a man, a human who just MIGHT do some good for this country.

Exactly, I know about 30+ Obama supporters who feel the same way and think he is far from any Messiah, including myself. This "Messiah" comment is just a ploy from the republicans as some type of attack, which really doesn't work, just like all of McCain's failed attempts (it was sometime between Bushes election and McCain's falling apart that I realized the GOP had become nothing and I switched back to Democrat) to insult Obama. It's just the same tactics, insults (that don't work), tax breaks (that don't work), it's become a broken record. So engraved in the GOP's mind that they don't even know what they stand for anymore, all they are doing is reading a prompter.
I honestly hope there is a day the GOP can get back on track, but I voted Obama and as of now have no regrets. Why would I want to invest in an economy with tactics that have been proven to not work?
What I find more interesting is that my Ivy League Republican friends, although didn't vote Obama by any means, respect him and don't use any of these broken republican insults because they are not idiots. Where as I find the other portion of my friends who really have no education, watch fox news, and are closet alcoholics, as well as the biggest racists I know, continue to hurl the same insults displayed by GOP leaders. I think that speaks for something...Anyone see the GOP convention? There used to be a time I would see respectable people there. It's interesting how we have the Republicans saying things blatantly during live television like "Bomb Obama!" and sending death threats. The last I remember no one was making death threats toward McCain, especially not on national television. It seemed the GOP this year was just supported by those who intended to fuel their own racist agenda. Although I realize that was not the case for every Republican.

The following is my opinion as a member participating in this discussion.

Did these parents who blogged about it, report it to the school or questioned them? Is there any other coverage of this incident other than the blog? I find it hard to believe this school has enough resources to have projectors with full size images of Obama in every class... I'd like to see more proof of this story...a picture of the image being shown etc. etc.

My elementary school age son got this in his class on Inauguration day...but since then they've already moved on from Obama and have been concentrating on passing their FCAT's again

I don't know if this was school wide thing or just a class thing and I wonder if anyone else's kids received something like this. My middle school age son didn't get anything like it, they only watched the inauguration on tv.

As an ATS Staff Member, I will not moderate in threads such as this where I have participated as a member.

If you read that analysis and really pay attention to what it is saying then you will be fully awake to what is really happening here. Everything is all laid out in that article for you.

Please, Please Read It!

I enjoy reading Icke's stuff, as "out there" as it may be. Some of it
is pretty tenuous...BUT, I do believe his 'take' on Obama is
100% spot-on. I agree with every comment he makes about Obama.

I feel such pity for these legions of dummies who are being dragged
around by their emotions, with the "hope" and the "yes, we can"
crap. Pavlov's pooches were capable of more critical thinking
than the Obamatrons.

This..... is what closes the door to debates and learning. Name calling does not assist you to think, it closes the door to thinking. How about the "drill baby drill" crap. Pavlov's pooches were capable of more critical thinking than the Bushatrons. See how that works? And neither one of those statement shares any information, it only shares hate.

Personally, I get tired of all the bashing and name calling. Let's use our critical thinking skills people, and realize that good healthy debating, does not include attacking the person.

I am amazed!

I didn't even know what the pledge was until I looked it up on Wikipedia after reading this thread. I think it's crazy enough that they do it at all just to a flag. This now explains to me why Americans are so patriotic.

This is not the reason we are patriotic. We are patriotic because we love our liberties, our freedoms, our constitution, and our country. The pledge of allegiance has not been around all that long (50 years give or take).

Unfortunately for us Americans you are incorrect about the cliche that we are all patriotic, if that were the case, we would not be systematically being stripped of our rights and liberties.

What we do however have is a whole bunch of false patriots (those who's allegiance is to the government not to the country). I imagine that this is common worldwide just as it was in WWII Germany. Governments come and go, the countries however are there basically forever barring natural disaster. These false patriots think that they are true patriots so much so that they honestly believe that the real patriots are the enemy of the country. I have many a person call me unpatriotic because I voiced opposition to GWB and what he was doing to our civil liberties. This is how these people think and it is extremely difficult if not impossible to open their eyes to the truth.

I am going to finish with a few quotes from my favorite person in history; Thomas Jefferson.

"A Bill of Rights is what the people are entitled to against every government, and what no just government should refuse, or rest on inference."

"All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent."

"Conquest is not in our principles. It is inconsistent with our government." (That applies directly to our current situation in this country)

"Every government degenerates when trusted to the rulers of the people alone. The people themselves are its only safe depositories."

"Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny."

"I have sworn upon the altar of God, eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man."

"I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that his justice cannot sleep forever."

"If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be." (very important quote here)

"Leave no authority existing not responsible to the people."

"My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government."

"Our country is now taking so steady a course as to show by what road it will pass to destruction, to wit: by consolidation of power first, and then corruption, its necessary consequence."

As one can plainly see this man's great wisdom transcends even time itself.

Hitler didn't get this kind of popularity this quick, we should all be very worried.
Its no longer time to pray for God to help our leaders, its time to pray they fail and do not succeed. God be with us all.

"On November 27th, 2008, Barack Obama was asked the question regarding the vision for change and where the change would be. Obama quickly stated, "I am the change, the change comes from me." (13) We are made to wonder who this strange one is, and what is his real agenda? According to Islamic tradition, there was an Islamic Imam who was the Prophet Mohammed's cousin and son-in-law. His name was Ali Ibn Abi-Talib. This man gave the following prophecy: "At the end of times, and just before the return of the Mahdi, a tall black man will assume the reins of government in the West; commanding the strongest army on earth. The new ruler in the West will carry a clear sign from the third Imam, whose name was Hussein Ibn Ali ." (14) Strangely enough, the name Obama in the Persian language means "He is with us."

Holy crap, all this over a story that registers VERY high on my BS-o-meter. I have children in 1st and 2nd grade, and not one of them, nor any of their friends couldn't give a rats @ss about Obama, Bush, Iraq, Iran...any of it. They are not political creatures at that age, and unless this child was smart enough to pick up on the parents dislike of Obama and figured out how to manipulate that to stay out of school, I don't believe it for a second.

NativeAmerican:

I like how you just completely ignored the content of my posts on page 4.

Wake up!

When are you going to see that the source of the problems goes beyond the White House!!!

Obama is just a front Man with a nice smile on his face to make everything look good.......just like Bush.......Just Like Clinton........just like.......just like........

Get it!

We can have Chris Rock in there for all I care, but the same dang things are just going to keep happening, over and over again until people wake up and realize that the source of all of this is beyond the different faces they put in front of us.

Let me give you an analogy:

Lets say that you like to eat at Burger King, but you got food poisoning the other day from that burger you ate. You would just let it go but this is the 3rd time it has happened to you in a year. So you decide that something needs to be done about it. Who do you go to, too see that there is a change in their policy's to make it so people don't keep getting food poisoning?

Do you go to the manager at your nearest Burger King?

Or

Do you go and speak with franchise owners of the establishment?

Your friends just tell you to go to the local Burger King manager and he will take care of everything for you and he will make sure the polices are changed. And you go and do that but a few days later you hear about someone getting food poisoning yet again.

So you go back in to speak with the manager to say WTF! But when you go in you see that there is a new manager that is dressed nicer and very friendly and even offers you a free meal and free gifts for your troubles. You are very pleased and confident that he will take care of it.

But still a week later, you hear of even more people getting food poisoning. What should your next step be?

Common people its not really that hard to figure it out. You just need to look beyond what they put in front of you and really think about it.

*SNIP* if this is in fact happeneing it is a way to instill thoughts into these individuals be it children teachers etc... it isnt for them to figure out at that age it is a way of mind control it has nothing to do with politics nothin, it has everything to do with the future or your children you know the time when you will be to weak to help them see it the way it should be they will already have been brainwashed into going against you and your will.

It is the same as letting them use bio optic scanners for their thumbs in schools for lunch programs just a way to make them used to that kinda controlled crap lifestyle.

So after 2 years of worshipping Obama anything he says might sound like a good idea like say for example he wanted to do kinda the same regime hitler had done it worked well for him at first right?
Why would this be any different if in fact it is happening, which I highly doubt it if teachers are doing this on their own then they are f'ed in the head and need psychological evaluations, and if it is the school board making these decisions then they should be overthrown and stepped on with the publics Foot, wouldn't you agree?

Heck I haven't done a pledge of allegiance for like 5 years now.

But yeh...

I doubt that a 1st grader would know about Obama and the presidency.
Also they wouldn't know why an epitaph is bad in that situation.

With the education system failing more and more, I would consider this story as propaganda to a great extent.

They would sue the school if this really happened.

You conservatives out there can hate Obama because he's black, but YOU, as in an American citizen, let him take the presidency whether you voted for him or not.

So stop complaining.

What in the world are you talking about? Ronald Reagan was one of our best presidents. He and the Pope covertly engineered the downfall of the USSR, and the end of a long standing cold war. He was an actual leader, who just happened to start out as an actor. Yes, it was an actor who killed Lincoln, but it was also a white man. And it was a white man who was responsible for WWII and Jewish Deathcamps. So maybe all white people are bad. Are you aware many conservative black people are very opposed to Obama bin Kenya? Are you aware many Israeli's oppose the Zionists? Don' t be so narrow minded, or at least don't announce it. Displaying your own ignorance will only hurt you.

Although I admired Ronald Reagan, one must not overlook the fact that he formally recognized the Vatican as a sovereign country. This means that we can now enter into treaties or cogernauts (I think that is what they are called) with the pope. Hitler had one, Napoleon, Stalin, and many others. I do not particularly think this was Reagan's shining moment as a matter of fact it may even prove to be treasonous, but only time will tell.

Also if there were so many conservative black men as you say that are very opposed to Obama, then how pray do you explain his receiving 98% of the black vote? I do not think there are as many as you would try to lead us to believe. I am going to take that even a bit further, there were interviews done in NYC with black voters and they were asked which of Obama's policies they favored most, Staying in Iraq until the job was done or his pro life position (both of which were not his position but rather McCain's, this was done to see if these people actually voted due to platform or race) amazingly enough NOT ONE SINGLE person realized that it was not Obama's policies and they all said they supported either one or both. They were then asked if they supported his choice of Sara Paulin as his choice for vp (another lie to test their character) and again EVERY SINGLE ONE said yes they did support his vp choice of S.P.

Now what does this tell you?

It tells me that either 98% of the black race is racist and support a man solely on the color of his skin, or that they are weak minded enough to be somehow convinced to vote for a man without knowing even what he stands for. You can tell me which it is as I honestly don't know.

Are you afraid that Obama might shake his hips on t.v.? (if you are too young to get the reference, sorry)

Oh....and this story....reeks of nonesense too.

It's one thing for a teenager to put a poster of Farah Fawcett on his wall, or get all googely-eyed over the Beatles.

It's sickening to see a teacher make a child worship, or sing praises to to an individual and shove their political views on them at such an influential time in their young lives.

There's a huge difference between idolization and brainwashing.

Hi,

To the OP's post (from the treeofliberty site), the OP there had an update on page 13 (approx 1 day after he made the original post, which I think is pretty quick!) of what happened when they brought this issue up to the school's vp. Others have opened up about their experiences, too, in school systems. I know it's a long read (all those pages), but there's some insight and I found the read (18 pages) worth it.

Take care!
