Actually, NO. The situation in modern Israel is NOT semite vs. semite. Most of the Israeli Zionists are, in fact, not semitic by any means of checking genetics. They are normally referred to as being Khazaran (a region of the former Soviet Union which-mysteriously--overnight,practically-converted to Judaism) Jews---no relation to the semitic Hebrews of the Bible/Tora.
It causes great confusion as to HOW it is possible to be considered "anti-semitic" for simply disagreeing with the policies of Zionist Israel when the perpetrators are NOT SEMITES!!!

You missed the part about how the land originally belonged to Israel and how the Romans stole it from them and renamed it Palestine. You also should add into the equation that the few Arabs that lived there for the next 1700 yrs or so let the land become a barren and desolate place. The once fertile land was overgrown with weeds. You might also want to look at a map of Israel from 100 B.C. to see how much land was stolen from Israel. Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and I think even Egypt have parts of the stolen land that really belongs to the Israelites.

So basically you were living in a stolen rented house that was a real worthless run down dump and the original owner was given the land back through proper legal channels and you had lots of warning that this would happen. So these nice ingenious people that have the sense to wash themselves so they don't smell like camels rebuild with modern hospitals, schools, factories, irrigation, vineyards, olive gardens, crops, and basically take the land out of the dark ages and into the future. Then they offer to let you stay there and even take care of you and your family for life. Your life is 1000 percent better than it was before. You can have a higher paying job than any Arab nation ever offered you, and you can worship Allah all day long and they won't bother you. You would be in heaven don't you think? But the Pallies chose the greedy ungrateful path and the Arab nations started pushing Pallies over the borders and into Israel to make trouble. Well, I have to go. also, 6 million jews dying in the holocaust is an ever changing figure that is now difficult to, say the least, prove accurate. researching this history has landed some men to long prison sentences simply for wanting clarification to the facts. does that seem right to you? by showing contempt to any investigation of the holocaust shows more than enough evidence to it not being true. truth stands up to any scrutiny and inquiry never needs to be fought off to protect it.

there is also evidence that many jews were killed during bombing raids by ally forces towards the end of WW2. germany housed many POW's in off limit civilian areas for protection from bombing raids, but were bombed none the less? there was plague and disease contributing to the unknown death toll as well. if germany wanted to kill jews so badly, why house and feed them at all? why would they even be transported and managed in the first place when they themselves were sorely lacking resources at the end of the war?

one important piece of jew history to think about is the USS Liberty. zionist jews in broad daylight attacked an american ship relentlessly and only failed to sink it due being witnessed by russian military in the process. many american service men were murdered by this poor suppressed people that day.

I see both sides exhibiting a loss of life and a viable argument. Yes, I agree that Israel has a right to exist and continue to prosper. The fact however, that the Palestinians have no chance in leading a prosperous life with access to natural resources, is also tragic.
I realize that I will not solve disputes by agreeing with both sides, but I see the issue as one of philanthropy and a lack of tolerance (yes on both ends)
There are no sides when it comes to human life.
As for the historical genocide, we cannot forget that this was the case and that many Jewish persons met a tragic end. I visited Auschwitz and was deeply saddened. In the same light however, half of the population of my country of Greece were killed too (and this has not been widely publicized outside of Greece for some strange reason). The number is estimated at a little over 5 million. In addition to this, persons on an individual scale such as my grandmother (who is still with us!) DID hide and help and hide Jewish families in their simple village homes at the risk of their own demise, in order to preserve the life of fellow humans.
Have the Armenians not gone through (and still are) going through another denied genocide by the Turkish regime? This however, is also not a tragedy that hits major networks often or is remembered.
It all boils down to the fact that many cultures have suffered genocide attempts and only the Jewish people's genocide should be remembered, or should stand out? No, ALL cultures and civilizations and paths of faith should be tolerated if we are to ever achieve what we deem as civilized persons.
I leave you all with an ancient Greek saying from Epictetus : "all religions must be tolerated..for..every man must get to heaven in his own way" (and believe me, he most certainly does not mean by any way of violence).
