Oh Oh - What did I miss - What am I going to be warned about??!!
Is it coming to Southern CA??

Has anyone seen anything on the news about any of this?

KTWO often cuts off the first hour, it will replay again in its entirety after the first run of the show. I monitor KTWO AM always for the C2C shows.

Cheers!!!!

Thanks.

I rarely listen, but thought I'd try to catch this one. From the comments that Mr Noory made, I gather that the guest did not think that anything big was imminent, but that it was worth watching in the long term.

Cheers!

I dont think that they would purposely "turn down the volume" on those sensors because they have to rely on those same sensors for their data. From what I was told, they work in an AGC type mode, or Automatic Gain Control mode so that during low activity times, the sensors turn up the gain by themselves, and when large activity is deteced, they turn themselves down accordingly to get a full reading without pegging out the scales.

For those who need, here is a site with a list of over the air radio stations that carry the C2C show and they also stream their audio over the internet. These sations have exclusive contract to stream their audio as well as C2C.

C2C streams

Cheers!!!!

Not anything significant Im afraid. But there have been a few news agencies overseas that have touched on this, mostly out of the UK. Someone posted some links to the reports a few pages back in the thread.

Cheers!!!!

@dodadoom

See the red button in the topright corner of your screen saying something about u2u's? Will you please click on it... I've sent you one regarding some things you asked in the thread...

(Sorry for going of topic here... but sometimes new users are not familiar with the u2u system. And I had to send dodadoom a u2u because answering his questions in thread would cause more of topic chat)

I wonder where in the signal stream the AGC takes place.

What would be ideal would be for the full range to be digitized at all times, but the AGC applied only for the purposes of the display (in this case, the helicorder pages that we see).

That way, if a signal is clipped on the display, it doesn't mean that the true peak amplitudes of those signals are "lost".

I am the one who lives next to it
Let me tell you what we have had a few small ones centered here in my town lately and we dont normally end up being the epicenter for them is VERY rare. We have had mabe 5 in the last 10 years centered here so far in the last week we have had 3...

I can't find anything on page 4 - of yours when I hit your posts button.
I'm still a bit daft when it comes to the system... no worries - I'll try again.

I'm kind of seeing that. I guess you get to be the one that runs out and cleans the webcam lens pretty soon eh? Don't know if you read those posts or not...
But on the serious side, the activity on the West Coast is the whole reason I started watching quakes in the first place. Then, I get a pretty big scare in my back yard here to heighten my interest. Now, my attention is back to you - With good cause it's beginning to sound like...

I have been following this thread from it's beginning, & have really learned lots.
Our kids received compasses for Xmas. Has anyone really checked out what compasses are doing since Xmas? I'm in Nebraska, and over the last 2 days, when we really started watching them, we have noticed that North can be anywhere from West to East. You were just discussing the magnetic field a few posts ago, and if the magnetic field is really undergoing as many changes as you all are suggesting, would this be showing up on a compass to this extent?
Another subject that you have already discussed is animal movement & behavior. This year, here, the deer population was extremely high, & the Neb Game & Parks allowed harvesting of a greater number of deer because of the increase in deer population. These deer were not here all summer, just late summer & through the fall & now into winter. Most of the hunters I have talked to harvested mature (2 year old & older bucks). Now, this may not sound unreasonable, but, 2 years ago, our local deer population was quite low, & most hunters didn't even see a deer during the 1 week rifle season. So, putting that all together, where did all of the 2 year old & older deer come from? We have also been seeing an increase in elk sitings, where they do not normally roam. So, the question connected with that is how long before a major geological event do the animals begin to move out, and how far would they go?
As for the Yellowstone, what a beautiful park!! Let's all hope it's still there for many years for all of us to explore it's wonders further!! And all of this is just leading up to a new land formation, geyser, hot spring, or something like that that we all will enjoy.

Thank you - and Ah yes - ! It looks like a path to me.
I also believe that the connection is substantial.

I'm a eastern medicine - body worker and massage therapist. And as weird as this sounds - I liken what is happening to what happens in the body. You can push on a hamstring and affect the back - which will affect the shoulder - neck - then the jaw... - and so on and so on. It's a system. Just like this little planet of ours. Just a connected system of energy mass. I was thrilled to see a real time graph of Yellowstone reacting to Indonesia.

Now - where should I move to?

Sounds like magnetic field issues to me.
The geese don't know where to go this year either....

Thats true it would be easier to just have a full time, full range indication on a consistant basis.

Im not sure where exactly the AGC kicks in at during the stream but just looking at the GEE display, it has not always followed it accurately and I have seen spikes peg the scale numerous times.

Sometimes that AGC action doesnt quite follow correctly and a spike can be mis-interpreted, as it has quite a few times that I have noticed when some would notice a spike but in actuality its just a reading going byond the low range of the graph range. There will be some "lag" due to the net congestion etc, but it shouldnt be that much. But I agree a full time full graph range would be nice.

Cheers!!!!

This all ties in with the theory of something is playing around with the gravity fields of the planets in the solar system, obviously including planet Earth, and can be the reason why we are seeing increased geological activity.

I too have noticed my compasses not indicating proper north, especially over the last 3 days. Tho I was not sure to mention it when I proposed my theory of something outside is causing the geological activity because I did not have enough information yet to know for sure. But now with compass manipulation confirmation by another member, it raises more suspecion that something is making the magnetic field "shift" in some manner, and that can cuase the geological activity we are seeing, but there has to be something causing the shifting, that leads me to the outside influence theory.

To add..has anyone else noticed that unusually very bright star in the early evening that hangs at about the 2 o-clock position? Of course it will appear at a different position depending on where you are located, but here in Casper Wy, that bright star is prominent and clearly much much brighter than the other stars that show up in the evening.

Researching.

Cheers!!!!

Until a week or so ago, I might have said Wyoming

Just had some accupuncture done and it worked, so I agree on the other point (pardon the pun) as well.
There was also a good link to wave travel time estimates so you could get an idea of when to expect the seismographs to start going off. At first people thought they were harmonics.

To answer another question and save myself from too many posts, I would check my compass but I stuck my emergency pack in the truck when I thought Yellowstone might blow
But, I think that falls in with the bigger cause that could be taking place.
