That has been my point all along. I don't get this continued rant.

I do. Newbie wants some points. Or he's got a grudge against ATS for something. I'm willing to bet that this is a previously banned member just looking to cause a stir.

You have more than likely hit the nail on the head one way or the other. It certainly seems to be the case. Interesting that the op hasn't returned.

Your right it doesn't prove a conspiracy - that was not my intention. It proves a fact. ATS members have been transformed into money before your eyes, and how many realized it?

Well if that's the case then by your logic haven't you helped "them" by joining and adding to the "problem"?

Hopefully this thread adds to the solution which is to remove yourself from all obligations to this site. I have merely joined and will be leaving my last post right here. I hope somebody finds this enlightening, especially those who may visit this website rather frequently.

You see the plain fact is that this site is no better than the most corporate, manipulative scum in America. This site claims the motto of "deny ignorance" although perpetuating it is much more profitable. Finding the answers is not the goal, and they will do anything they can to avoid the answers - but raise more instead.

Additionally, when I joined to agree with this thread I didn't realize the connection between Jim Marrs and the manipulation of individual posts/theories/ideals which have been independently contributed to this site by real people attempting to seek real answers. That is the most obvious connection that can be made, and I really feel sympathy for those directly manipulated in this game of corporate trickery.

If you are interested in learning more about what your dear website is truly interested in, please review this thread in its entirety.

I thank all of you whom entertained my opinion, as well as the thread starter. To those whom have not read this thread yet, I wish you to read it with an open mind on the non-defensive. As everyone else I have encountered tonight felt the adrenaline rush as soon as they felt offended by this concept.

It is not a conspiracy, it is the truth. Your being manipulated like a corporate tool. Whilst you seek to bring down the corruption in the world - you have directly contributed to it.

... and I just thought you should know.

Farewell AboveTopSecret. This is one person not falling for it.

Well I guess that's over. I'm sorry that you couldn't see our point of view or articulate yours very well. Have a nice life.

PS- Know that you are welcome back, just don't be so spiteful in the future. You will find that this place has a lot to offer. I have no hard feelings, I just wished that you provided a better argument.

What, and can you PROVE that 9/11 wasn't an inside job? All we have is evidence. What do we need here, "9/11 was an inside job" from people like Cheney and Bush? We have statements like "it wasn't," but bearing the questions presented about and around the officials, that doesn't have bearing.

I agree... look at 9/11 with your own pupils, not some other guy who happened to write a book about it.

A member registers with several account using them to bolster his own arguments, probably because of poor debate skills, which is strictly forbidden by the T&C. He gets banned and reregisters again and again. Only this time he insults what is probably the smartest group on the Net:

In fact, I would bet that 96% of all conspiracy theories which tread mud on ATS come from uninformed, non-college educated, non-scientific, young children whom are attempting to explain their personal outrage towards the state of affairs around the globe.

ATS members don't like to be played the fool. Congrats, I think you qualify for the 2008 Darwin awards.

Nah that wasn't me, but thanks for calling me out on this one.

I honestly come here for the news and the discussions and analysis on it.

You can pretty much group ATS into a few different categories of members:

1 - Crazy, irrational, Youtube/Sorcha Faal enthusiast conspiracy theorists
2 - New ager, spiritual people
3 - Incredibly intelligent people often with expertise in certain fields/areas that give amazing in depth and enlightening commentary (why I come)
4 - Crazy, irrational skeptics

For me, it is worth wading through a few 'Reptillians are using holograms as mind control devices, watch this youtube vid for proof' to see the news. I can choose to use MSM and have current events updated days after they occur, with extreme bias and omission of whatever the man thinks is inappropriate OR I can come to ATS to find minute by minute updates along with informed opinions and careful analysis.

yEA. nOT REALLY

REVERSE SPEAK AND strange subjects may coneceal truth, and people like yopu will surley turn someone off because of this thread. I try to awaken people everyday.

You cant say that. You belive that your exposing what? Fraud?

Go become a lawyer and expose real fraud sir. This took 30 seconds to write, a response twice as long as deserved.

Yawn, another pointless attack to cause deception, division, and unrest.
Hope you like argueing and trolling. This is the right thread for that

I would like to inform you that nothing on this website is factual.

Ah, but you have stepped into a hole. If nothing on this website is true, then your statement is not true. But if your statement is not true, then there must be some things on ATS that are true.
Therefore, your statement is false.

Clearly the OP has been debunked.
In order for a hypothesis to even become a theory, it must first be subjected to peer review and unable to have been proven false.

Hypothesis: I propose all aliens are green.

Theory: The sky never ends.

See how easy that is?

"The only facts that are contained on this website are the threads which link to news sources."

What makes you think news sources are any more credible than this website. I'd go as far as to say 70% of everything out there is complete bull, perhaps more, all fired out to the public through filtered points of view. You'd have to be a complete idiot to adopt every thought on this site as your own beliefs but there are things in here worth looking at and cross referencing with other sources and thats why I've signed up.

I really don't think you've thought too hard about this. What you say might sound like a legitimate gripe on the surface, but when you actually look at it with some perspective you have no point.

Alternative ideas and viewpoints rarely get any attention in the MSM, other than attempts to discredit, so ANY method of distribution to get alternative information 'out there' can only be a positive thing.

So what if the guy makes some cash? He ain't gonna get rich off it mate, very few authors make much money. He has to eat, and cover the expense of getting a book published to begin with, and if he wasn't able to do that writing books you would never have penned this thread. Which cost you nothing.
You've got the points you're trolling for, so ya should be happy...

Have many of you have become what you have set out to fight against? How many of you have perpetuated the ideal that 9/11 was an inside job, when no facts point to that conclusion directly? How many of you might have unknowingly perpetuated ignorance, lies, and untruth as a result of an the equal and opposing force of these politician's lies?

Once again, that is up to those who read our analysis. Ignorance is only perpetuated by those who do not bother discern an objective representation of information from sweeping conspiratorial theories, brewed out of a resentment for society. You can't blame us for perpetuating anything. If your only concern is to keep society sheltered from differing opinions, then you should find yourself absolutely content amongst the likes of the basest machinations of the Soviet politburo.

Your attack on this community is not appreciated. If perhaps you spent some time on this site attempting to gain an understanding of how this community operates, instead of the very arrogant, misinformed generalization of conspiracy, that you so complacently provided, you would not be seem so unintelligible.

Congratulations, you've helped strengthen the bonds, which make this community so powerful. It's ironic how your summary of this web site and its members exemplifies all the lack of thinking and research that you attempted to call us out on. You really have failed miserably.

if you wanna hear ignorance right now just tune in to the ATS Mix Show above politics... `shoegate` this show perfectly illustrates the ignorance from either this side (ATS) and that of the government. The way they handle the guantanamo bay issue is very revealling and hasn´t been shown since WW2.. It´s almost excactly what the Germans where saying back in the day.

it´s simple there is NO excuse for GITMO. NONE!

and for the original poster.. Noam doesn´t care about 911.... Luckly we do...if we didn´t every scam would be whiped under the carpet.

The following is my opinion as a member participating in this discussion.

There are approximately 63 billion indexed pages on the net, and Google says it has found over 1 trillion URL's.

Thats an awful lot of space, and information, and different places to go and see.

Merry Christmas

As an ATS Staff Member, I will not moderate in threads such as this where I have participated as a member.

You are, of course, absolutely right. Not a single one of the conspiracies so enthusiastically discussed on ATS actually exists. And ATS will continue to run and run and run, because people will never stop believing in this well-loved delusions.

Personally, I am very happy about this. For me, my hours on ATS are like visits to the zoo - a very special zoo, as I've said elsewhere, at which the keepers are quite happy to let you tease and rile up the animals to your heart's content so long as you stick to the rules and don't do any actual damage. I don't know where I'd be without my daily visit.
