How can Canada admit that the US did something. That's like me admitting my neighbor did something. Makes no freaking sense at all.
Everyone knows this guy is a flat out liar.

You want the government to hand you over any incriminating evidence just to satisfy your whims.........how naive of you! If there is a REAL CONSPIRACY that means there is ALMOST ZERO EVIDENCE! Get it?

If president bush was lying about Iraq possessing WMD would you expect him to admit it? The answer is NO! The same is true in the ufo coverup. They will never admit anything unless given (immunity).

Most of the people that work with extremely classified information have signed non-disclosure agreements which means they cannot release certain information. Unwarranted disclosure can result in imprisonment, fines, job dismissal and perhaps even death.

Because everything related to crash and recoveries meant that in Canada, this was turned over to the US. This national defense issue was handled in a joint way from everything I read.

As former secretary of defense don't you think he was privy to some highly classified information? As to wether or not he actually saw ufo documents is really anyone's guess but I would say probably yes.
Hellyer described his time as Minister for Defense from 1963-1967 where the occasional UFO sighting report crossed his desk. He claims to never have had time for what he considered to be a "flight of fancy"...but did not give much thought to UFOs as having serious policy implications... SOURCE
