so how long till obama is assassinated

I think this is a legitimate question. A coworker of mine and I were discussing what a target he is. Not only for radical racists, but for other reasons too.

Lets say he is genuine in his mind for goodwill and positive change,power for the people, we all know that history blatantly shows us that these people usually get assissinated, sad to say. JFK, MLK jr. john lennon.


Though I will say HOW the question is posted is a little callous.

You have a very valid question, since there has already been at least one unsuccessful plot to assassinate him - even before he became elected. Ironically, I'm unaware of any plot against McCain, and as unpopular as Bush is, I haven't heard of any attempts against his life either.

To answer your question - I think the SS & DoHS have their work cut out for them. Do I think there will be other attempts? Unfortunately, yes. Will any of them be successful? I hope not, for the sake of his family. If he'll be "removed" from office, it will probably be at the doing of Philip Berg.

The post is in bad taste only because of the way it was worded. However, it is a valid post. I am praying that our President be protected by both the Secret Service, the good people of the United States of America, and forces unseen to us all.

If a negative outcome is allowed, only the most depraved and savage among us will think well of the outcome. That kind of event would negatively effect every American and whatever the varous parts of this land are called when the dust settles, there will be no more U.S.A. To think it a small matter would be to misjudge the importance of events on the likelihood of 'possible futures.'

I for one, hope nothing happens to Mr. Obama. First, not only is he a husband, but, he is also a father, and for their sake (family), I would pray nothing that horrible (assassination) would ever take place, no matter how divided one may be or, sickly divided in their mind!

On another not, I personally, (As I switch to conspiracy mode) have the feeling that we didn’t elect Barak Obama, but reelected Bill Clinton, and having said that, I imagine everyone should keep an eye on his cabinet appointments and, yes, a grand entrance of Hillary at some point!

P.S. - I don’t charge for these predictions!

My one fear is something happening to Obama. Actually, my real fear is what would happen to this country if he WAS taken out. It could probably lead to civil war like John Titor mentioned. Already there was a plan to take him out but thank god that was caught and you know that was probably just the tip of the iceberg. Just my two cents. I would've gone more in depth but I dont have the time.

It won't happen unless he becomes a "maverick." His campaign of change is a joke and he was one of the chosen two...the PTB were going to be quite content with either McCain or Obama, the "choice" simply did not matter to them. We will see more spending, taxes, foriegn entanglements, and moves toward globalism under Obama...more of the same.

I know its horrible to say but the over under is 2 years... you make the call.

unfortunately life is seen as being cheap to too many people today regardless of what good the person could bring.

and yea, I was trying to play on the irony of history and what it brings with it in the question. Given it's quite a sensitive topic I should have thought better and posted the full reasoning behind it.

The only thing I will say, regardless of your distaste or taste for President-Elect Obama or how high the probabilities are, I don't think you should even have the slightest hope of that. That is a terrible thought to have. In a way it starts to make it acceptable to assassinate him. (for lack of a better way to put that) When and if it does actually happen, instead of the tragedy it should be, it would be an "eh well he had it comin' to him. It was bound to happen eventually"

Why would anyone want to assassinate him?

Why would anyone anticipate such a thing?

I cannot believe these posts about assassination are allowed to be up. I don't care if we are talking about Bush or Obama, this is highly uncalled for.
