I'm just curios in wondering how long you folks think it will be till he is "removed from office". Indeed if you think it will happen at all?

I think this is a ridiculous thread , and in poor taste.
Hateful even
Mods?

You gonna let this happen?

its a genuine question!!! I personally have no views on the subject but am curious as to what all you conspiracy folks think!

how is it bad taste to ask a valid question. OR is it 'cos you think I'm asking cos he's black. ? trying to find hate where there is none perhaps? Trying to enforce the general consensus that its racist to ask any political based questions about obama, his ability to run the most powerful nation because he is black?

its a change for the US and any major change brings with it it's own level of danger. the CIA aren't exactly known for being the forgiving type.

it's a valid question with no prejudice intended either way. so stop being a little winger because somebody has asked a question you dont like.

I'm sure there will be attempts to assassinate him, But i doubt the will be successful. But having said that i don't see Obama getting re elected for a second term once people really see what kind of change he will bring.

You doubt the will of liberals in this country. We want to fix the country from the mess it's been in the last 8 years. Most of us support him. The only people who would try to kill him would be people who don't want him in power. What kind of change are you against?

I don't think you know what kind of change he will bring either.

All either of us have is his voting record, and his word...

Speculation that he will or will not do something is moot..

the man's not even president yet and people are refusing to give him a fair shot.

I dont know.... why are you asking such a inane question?
The man hasnt hit the hot seat yet, and you want to know when he will be assassinated.... beggers belief.
Dont you think the U.S. is in deep enough with out an assassination?
You invite hatred .
Obama is Black?
I wasnt taking that much notice of the colour of his skin.
The world need a leader and as much as i regret the " Leader" be the U.S. President (ALLEGEDLY), I wish him luck and wisdom.

"so stop being a little winger"

Not so little Champ... so dont make it personal !

ohhhh steady on! mungodave will also think your in bad taste, hateful blah blah blah you know the usual gibberish spouted from do gooder types!

I'm thinking if it did happen it would prolly be a major corporation that does it due to changes in tax's etc. Rather than the CIA. And just to explainto mungodave AGAIN before he chirps up spouting some more bull#, it has nothing to do with him being black, it's to do with his policies and the direction he wants to take America in!!!!

I don't think its being against change I think its more to do with screwing with peoples money. That's a very good motivator to fuel anger. Take me for example I work hard to earn a lot of money, and if the gov turned round and said we're changing tax laws to tax the rich even heavier (you'd be surprised at what a socialist based system will tax people at) I'd close my company and relocate it to Europe somewhere.

It's a dangerous road he will be going down after all why should those too lazy to work get contributions from those that drive the economy of a country?

Why should the mega rich get more tax breaks to line their pockets?

Face it... Trickle down economics hasn't worked... it was a decent theory, but in practice it failed.

I still maintain it's a valid question. If it were to happen do you think they'd wait till he was in the white house? It's called politics and he wouldn't be the first president to be assassinated!!!!

and I couldn't care less about your weight issues, what bothers me is your the type of person who chirps up some nonsense cos you think it's what people want to hear.

how does it invite hatred asking a question? I still fail to see your reasoning behind assuming that? Inviting hatred would be making a statement not posing a question based of the political past of the US.

You really believe bush did this all by himself and in only 8 years? I guess it would be a supprise to you to know that this mess started under a democrat. Probably before you were born. Does Jimmy Carter ring a bell to you? How about Bill Clinton? See billy Boy signed the bills that removed the regulations that would have help prevented this mess. Yes the bills were passed By a republican controlled Congress But he signed them. and at least one of the Bills was never debated in congress it was passed on the last session of Congress before Bush and the New congress was sworn in.

Obama is just the same S%%% in a different wrapper. The only was out of this mess and pay for the policies he wants to put in place is to taxe the hell out of everyone! YOu have to pay for those policies somehow. Its onething to promise to cut your taxes before the election its after the election that once the person promising the change shows his true colors.

Its a pretty fair better that you can go by his votting record on most things, since that is based on fact and nt promises that can be forgotten as soon as your elected. A good salesman will tell you anything he thinks you want to hear to make the sale, then once the sale is made and its too late to see you bought a lemon what are you going to do then.

I'll give the guy a fair chance to prove me wrong But i'm not holding my breathe.

Its pretty tough to go by his voting record as well... remember while he was in the senate he was representing south side Chicago, and looking out for their interests as well...

With that in mind, some of his record might be skewed to the views of his constituency.

I wouldn't hold your breath either
at least not till late Jan...

edit: bad grammar.

on the flip side why should those who don't work get rewarded for it? Until we as a species out grow the need for money the rich will always be the ones in control. As usually it's them taking the risks and working. Personally I work about 60 hours a week and it pisses me off when my tax bill comes especially seeing the state of my country. I wouldn't mind so much if the country was getting better but the reality is it's not.
I wouldn't even mind if people we're made to work, picking up litter, cleaning graphiti up etc. As they are getting the money anyway so they should earn it.

The welfare state started off as a good idea, but was very poorly implemented allowing people to easily take advantage at the expense of those who do work and contribute.

I can see where your coming from though mate, but this world isn't ideal. I don't know your economic stability but if you had to pay say an extra 1k a year in taxes it would seriously effect your standard of living....

LOL... fanx mate... got to say I have never been accused of being a " do-gooder".

Far from that ( check the bali bomber thread.)

I just dont think its productive !!

I do not claim to be fully versed about his policies, nor lack thereof.
And you have me there unreservedly.

i work hard too... dont own a company and have never been "off shore"

But I did find the question distasteful.

I'll leave it at that ok?

My wife and I made 104k last year...

This year, We'll be lucky to break 30k.

If it wasn't for the handouts that you preach against, would my kids currently have any medical coverage whatsoever?

Wait until your the victim, then tell me you don't appreciate all the so called "handouts".

Its easy to talk from a pedestal, thinking it can never happen to you... but let me tell you, it can.
