Colonel, were your ancestors slaves? I'm assuming yes, so does that make you a Jew? There have been MANY people who were taken as slaves. Why does this one instance happen to be the one prophesized? And what were ALL of the Jews doing in middle africa instead of the middle east? Funny that they made such a huge pilgrimage, and in many cases joined a local tribe, only to be taken away as slaves...

You printed quite a bit of it. But you only focused on verse 58, and ignored the rest of it. As I just said, there have been many people who have been taken as slaves, but only the Jews lost their nation yet stayed together as a people despite that. They were scattered to the wind.

There's another piece of prophecy, one from Revelations, which states that the temple will be rebuilt before the end. What will have to happen for that to happen if slave descendants are the real Jews? They're going to have to get together, and take back Isreal and build the temple there. Hmmm....Likely...

First of all, you're not reading the passage I gave you. I guess you refuse to. Please name me the nation that was taken away as slave in SLAVES SHIPS outside of blacks?

This flies in the face of prophecy which you haven't quoted. They were to be scattered amongst peoples, serving other gods, and the like---not staying togehter as a people.

The Bible even talks about the "brothers on the corner" when he speaks of Jews:

First off the chapter you mentioned is speaking of the decendants of Abraham. Isaiah 52 starts out by saying
"2 look to Abraham, your father, and to Sarah, who gave you birth. "


Blacks were slaves because of the sin of Ham, Noah's son. You can read the story in Genesis 10, but the summary is that Ham saw Noah drunk and naked, then he made fun of him and told his brothers. When Noah found out he cursed Canaan, Ham's 4th son.
When Noah awoke from his wine and knew what his youngest son had done to him, he said,
"Cursed be Canaan; a slave of slaves shall he be to his brothers." He also said, "Blessed by the LORD my God be Shem; and let Canaan be his slave. God enlarge Japheth, and let him dwell in the tents of Shem; and let Canaan be his slave."

So Canaan's sons were the slaves of his brothers. They were cursed by Noah to be slaves. The Jews were not from Canaan, or even Ham's line. They came from Noah's oldest son Shem. (View Genealogy or Very Detailed Genealogy) I submit this as proof that slaves you mentioned as in from Africa, can not be Jews. They are not decendants of Shem.

Also if you will notice Noah blessed only Shem. From Shem's line would come the Jews and the Messiah who would bless the whole Earth.

Slave ships, you say? Slave Ships. They had to come over on slave ships. And the blacks are the only people ever to have this done to them. False. When Rome took over Isreal, the Jews weren't all that happy. They rebelled and threw off the Roman yolk. Rome got pissed, and attacked, enslaving hundreds of thousands of Jews, and selling the rest to others. Then they brought the Jewish slaves over to Italy, and to do this, they used ships spicifically used to transport slaves. Hmm....

Actually people from Africa were slaves for a very short time compared to the length of time the Jews were slaves. 400+ years in Egypt, 70 years in Babylon, The Romans conquered them for at least 100 years. And they have been persecuted for centuries by Europeans.

Blacks were slaves in the Americas for about 300 year tops.

And let's not forget their stay with the Greeks, and the Assyrians.

Oh, and Colonel, I reread Deuteronomy 28 56-58, and it doesn't even say SLAVE ships, it says ships. It also doesn't say the entire nation is taken.

I've heard this argument hundreds of times by black preachers. They like to avoid this scripture. It is direct and to the point. Basically its a curse on Canaan's sons. They are black because they were cursed. Plain and simple. Most races in the world are not black simply because they were not cursed.
According to your logic, the entire world would be black. Doesn't seem to be that way.
