Then what would make a Jew a real Jew? I was under the impression that it was a religion first, and a race second. And if your mother practiced that religion, then you are a Jew by race. So how are they not real Jews?

Huh. That's interesting. So how would you do that? If your last name is Cohen, you're out, though, because the Cohens were the 13th tribe who were supposed to become the Jewish priests (yes, priests, not rabbis). Wouldn't a last name of one of the tribes be fairly good evidence, or does someone need to show you their family tree to be a Jew?

You would have to go to the Bible and trace the families and go through the prophecies.

Look, even the Bible prophesiczed that the ones that claim they are Jews are't really Jews.

Here is the prphecy God gave to the Isrealites (Jews) for disobeying.

Deuteronomy 28

Now, you just have to look at what peoples are like that and figure it out. What pewople do you know that were taken away as slaves on ship? The current day Jews? Ya think?
