From what I heard on a fox news video is that the men put the animal in this giant freezer but it was some kind of "non-frost" freezer so the freezer ended up failing/breaking with the creature inside it. Sounds pretty ridiculous. This is when the photo was supposedly shot. This explains what I'm talking about a little better..

The guy sais he touched it with his own hands and that it was genuine..
He also sais the first phase of testing has already come back from the lab..

I was prepared to believe in this until I read some of the articles carefully. These points are what changed my mind:

1. There's a suspicious amount of privately owned businesses with a stake in this little venture. A private film producer from AZ (supposedly filming a "study" of the creature), a private testing company for the DNA evidence, "Squatch Detective" radio show, Searching for Bigfoot, Inc., AND "Bigfoot Global LLC" (the ones who claim to have killed this creature and who sell bigfoot hunting tours) WorldNetDaily article

2. There is too much media hype BEFORE having enough scientific evaluation by respected experts.

3. Dyer has been on "administrative leave" before miraculously killing this thing, and his partner doesn't appear to have a job (what I inferred from the article). It seems as though making a quick buck from a hoax might help them out with their money troubles.

As we will see with this nothing will become of it.
It will all just fizzle out as stupid people give these scammers money.
It is all just hoax typing on a blog that is designed to hype up and promote some money making activity/venture.
And therefore should not be in BAN it should be in some conspiracy theory section with folk tales on the loch ness monster.

I for one am glad they found it. Now we can either hunt them to extinction or have our military take them to be used for general warfare purposes! Both if we are lucky!!!

Alright so the majority of us already figured it was a hoax a while ago, but the question is why are they doing this? Is it for a get-rich-quick scheme? Or is it intentional to hurt the cryptozoologists, particularly the other credible bigfoot researcher/investigator. Whatever the case these guys did it. (Nothing I hate more than low-life human being like then these hoaxers.)

Don't get me wrong, I woud love for there to be proof of bigfoot, as I beieve wholeheartedly that such a creature exists, and in fact believe that many exist(yeti's anyone?) but i don't think that the PTB would allow any information out about it, kinda like I don't think they will let anything out about aliens.

I hope there really is a big foot, because it would just prove once again that we know very little of our planet. However i will remain perched on the fence.

Because this guy has pulled a few stunts in the past. He really pissed of george noory with a false claim. He got free advertising from coast to coast and made alot of promises that he didn't come through with. My guess is that he will claim the body has come up missing. He will have some unknown scientist with know real credentials confirming that the small sample he tested is in fact bigfoot DNA. Then he will begin doing bigfoot hunts in georgia and for some huge amount of cash you can go with him Just like he did in California.

For *Their* sake.

If you've ever seen the movie (or even better read the book) “Never Cry Wolf” - you'll know what I mean.

As much as I'd love to know Big Foot is *Out There* - Id just as soon they STAY *Out There*... (Makes me wanna go watch Harry and the Henderson's again).

The picture is pretty convincing - though - they really didn't need to have the guts hangin' out for me to get the idea it's a body/dead body.
Those intestines look more pig like though I have to say... Especially for such a big beautiful beasty as that one.

Oh this is a tough one...

I know they're real, but I just don't want them to be hunted and stuck in some lab...

Then again, with all I've read about Eugenics lately, it probably was gut shot escaping from some lab.
In that case, thank God it got away...

Oh I was beleiving this story until I seen the youtube videos. In the second video where they get caught out they giggle and laugh like guilty little kids who just got owned big time. Then they have the nerve to mention a book there bringing out. well lets put 2 and 2 together. Its obvious this whole thing is gonna lead back to no body and people should buy there book for whatever reason.

I liked the lack of blood on freezer, body or organs...

If in the minute chance this happens to turn out to be the real Mcoy, it will no doubt be immediately added to the list of endangered species. Imagine the huge tracts of land that might have their use restricted in order to protect them.

Ususally the restrictions span the species whole range.

A week later Whitton was in the local TV news around Atlanta ... He had shot himself in the wrist with his own weapon while pursuing a suspect.

And PLEASE quit calling this guy a 'hillbilly'....he's from Clayton county....That's Atlanta! for crying out loud, he nothing but a city slicker.....and one that shot himself to boot!!!!

You just know there is some enterprising young prosecutor out there just waiting to make his career off off prosecuting a BigFoot Killer for Homicide.

I can just see the Animal rights activists outcry if this thing is real - they will have to change the Constitution to include an amendment about bigfoots, unless the big fella falls under the existing ones. At least some laws will have to be changed.

Maybe the will find a large group of them, like in the Congo a while ago with the gorillas.
