I completely agree. When a child fails a test or flunks a class, a lot of parents blame the teacher. Parents have become so disconnected from their children that the minute a child acts up it becomes society's fault, or it's because of a video game, or rap music. A child raised properly can play video games and listen to rap music and still behave. I have owned every single video game console. I have N.W.A. (and many others) on my iPod. And I have never been in any sort of trouble whatsoever. There is no greater influence on a child than the parent.

i found this thread to be very offensive. not only to me but to the african american people as well. you are just a redneck racist hick. you need to show some respect. you dont see me on here dissing your personal music choice. rap is a way to release aggression and anger. it isnt juvenile nor is it offensive. if you don't like it, don't listen to it. your a damn communist so you need to stop controlling other peoples lives and start concentrating on your own.

As for Hip-Hop, no, every musical genre that has "blown" up on the scene, and with it every generation, has had its own slang and words.

In regards to Hip-Hop being a fad or going the way of disco, they've been saying that since the 80's.... They'll be saying that in the 2020's....

Part of it is to destroy the language, but the end result is to get our youth into a dumbed down way of expressing themselves to the point that they cannot communicate anything of value. It is also about making them "think like thugs"

If you live in a big city you more than likely have had to stop in traffic because some thug that is too stupid to look out for traffic and just stroll across the road under the guise of thinking its cool. It started out because certain people could not keep up with learning complex thoughts and hid it by being full of stupid pride. Our youth because of mainstream media has been fooled into believing these people act like this because they are cool, when in reality they do it to hide there stupidity.

Now you have these middle class kids that were the backbone of our country not thinking and just trying to act cool. They are emulating retards and don't even know it.

Its the transnational corporations way of creating mindless consumers that do not question anything. They will just spin there wheels but never put the big picture together because they dont have the tools of advanced vocabulary and complex thought.
