i think a lot of new agers fall into this trap. (this is just my opinion)

I posted a question on a YouTube comments page for one of BG's videos. Nobody replied to it. Perhaps nobody saw. I wanted to ask any of these channelers:

Do you banish before a channeling session?
How? What sort of banishing?
Tell me how you usually differentiate between the voice of your conscious mind/ego and that of the "entity" you wish to channel? (assuming you do)

Those that might profit from this in any way will do anything they can to find a way to make this someone elses fault. This Leelah or whatever probably has plans of her own for a similar book/claim.. Or who knows.. she could be the real BG.

I watched the second clip- and I can honestly say- my head started to hurt.

I can also honestly say- that was staged. She had been memorizing a script. I really, REALLY got the feeling I was supposed to start feeling brainwashed by what was being presented, no lie. Not, 'brainwashing waves were coming out of the youtube vid', but the impression I was to buy completely into it without question.

I am gonna toss this in, too. Ok. The Oct "ship" a lot agree turned out to be a spoof of the full moon coming up. "Alabama", after my brain had a few rounds with it, is little more than an injoke to this bunch. Think about it- one of the high muckety mucks was 'Abama" Now, we do a little 'pun'intave fiddling, and we get:

Al Abama. The rest? I am sure I will figure out more as time goes by.

The believers have been had.....

This entire Galactic Federation of Light is just an egregore in their collective consciousness. Like a generated thoughtform that someone, or a group of people created. The rest of their followers just latch onto that. If these people were genuine Magickians, I may actually be scared of them.

Well no worries at all From the beginning - as I recall mentioning in 1st post - it was very speculative approach. Besides, that 'Alabama' ended up being 11 or 10, depending how interpret. Anyways, all we know (and we don't know that for sure) that there wasn't any spaceships around, unless they are being extradimensional, but from the original message it would be understandable that they would be visible to all.

Well the authenticy of this message also crossed my mind, especially how would the personal egoes of the channeller affect the outcome. I hope you will get answered. Could you point out the vid pls, btw? (or don't do so unless you want your nicknames connected, I'll understand that).

Yes, he disabled the comments but only after eight people had left comments; most of them calling them "New Age Hippies," along with a number of other explitives.

No wonder he disabled the comments after that. I don't think that there were any "constructive" comments.

Its called cowardice. I don't hate him, its not really surprising but anyone with half a brain can figure out why he would disable comments.. well one would hope most people have at least half a brain.

well i have been gone for a a day and im happy to see that the title has been changed. i have not and will not read all the posts since i have not been here (the last time i logged in this thread had only 180 pages) . i would like to know what has been going on. are people prtecting her or has everyone realized shes a fraud and i can sleep better at night?

I gotta say, despite my earlier comments I believe more and more that she might really have had ulterior motives. Perhaps ... a movie coming out? Testing the waters for a movie? To gain exposure?

I still believe it was not done with financial gain in mind (to buy her books/seminars you'd have to be pretty stupid to begin with). I just doubt whether or not she really believed it or if she was just trying for something else.

At any rate if people still want to discuss the reasons for the hoax, please don't clog the thread with jokes and youtube responses (no matter how funny they may be) because that will just get the thread shut down (or you post-banned).

I'm interested actually to hear from believers that are still holding on (3 days technically would be til the 17th, this new Feb 1st date, etc.)

Simple question, without malice ... why do you still believe?
